so while it is true that enchanter and leather workers get the same amount of stats from the profession bonus, a enchanter can enchant the rings AND bracers, but a leather worker have to enchanter their bracers and by doing so they miss out on a extra slot of enchants.
Lol you clearly didn't listen. The LW gets a *superior* enchant on the wrist. Yes an Enchanter can enchant their wrist but its not as good as the LW enchant. Thus both proffesions give the same bonus.
@@TriggaHappy00121213 ... so a LW can enchant their bracers, with a lot of AP yes, but as an enchanter you can enchant both rings for the same amount of AP on both of the rings and then ALSO put a common enchant on your bracers, in fact EVERYONE can have a enchant on their bracers thanks to enchanters BUT because there is a LW enchant on them you can't put anything else there. meaning you get MORE value from being en enchanter, because you can have the AP on both rings and what ever else you want on the bracers, but a LW can ONLY put enchant their own bracers. clearly LOL you dident read

But did anyone know which two profs actually give you the most stats?
After Wotlk professions died. Wotlk had the most usefull professions in all of WoW. Not just LW, but every profession mastery had it's uselfulness.
TBC professions were on another level. Wotlk every profession had a bonus, sure, but professions were never more useful than TBC.
Well if they will add recipies according to tiers like epic gems only on ToC then 40 Stam for Wrist would only come with ToC so LW at Naxx is realy strong as its 102 Stamina biggest amount you can get from Proffs

I want to drop either Skinning or Herbalism for JC on my Boomie now and keep the other one as a Goldmaker for leveling/early WotLK. I am on Firemaw and do have epic flying. What would you drop?
My opinion on this would probably differ from private server players because I would drop herb and keep skinning. Herbs and mines are gonna be camped ridiculously by both players and bots in WOTLK much like TBC. So having a gathering proff where you can just go find somewhere quiet and grind for guaranteed gold is a win. Also there are some really really good solo instance farms as skinning.
I'd love to see a WOTLK 25 man raid comp video and a video about how SWP gear holds up going into Naxx 25 in WOTLK!

another huge benefit to leatherworking is that you wont be completing against everyone else for herbs/ores, i used to use an area in grizzly hills or sholazar basin to farm+skin mobs
nothing beats oculus farming. you get leather, icy dragonscale and arctic fur :). you do need a bit of gear though
Totally agree, oculus or gorillas in sholazar if it’s not camped. In terms of not having to worry about other people though, first trash pulls in oculus is AMAZING
Especially in Sholazar basin where people leave so many skins around the Nessingwary camp that you don't need to kill at all for few minutes...

@Scottejaye when you do mages can you point out the "4th" spec of frost fire bolt? It was a very cool idea that I wish they kept going.
I want to stick to my skinning and LW on my rogue. It helped me during tbc to catch up on gear and make gold through skins, BoE's and leg enchants. But will I really be missing out that much by not choosing JC/Engi?
Good question and I’m thinking the same thing on a warrior at least you’ll be making better use of the crafted items (I’m assuming)

So you advise against a double gathering character for just gold farming? I have basically have every class alt but don't have a leatherworker yet.
tldr: leatherworking is dead & useless
Not sure why everyone is missing the gold making possibilities of LW; I 've made ~50K in TBC so far with LW mostly making blues. Incredibly overlooked.

Well arctic furs are buyable from the vendor so.. I dunno if LW is super viable now for just getting AFs

Cheers mate 🙏 Lordaeron is probably your best bet. It’s a warmane server and has about 5k plus pop at all times and is a blizz like x1 afaik. I personally haven’t played there but heard good things 🙏

Do you think it’s still worthwhile to pickup LW as a feral druid if my other profession is enchanting? I don’t really want to farm skinning mats on an alt. My druid main takes up all of my playing time.

It's a chance to drop every time you skin anything in Northrend, in place of borean leather.

Would you recommend tailoring or LW for leveling up enchanting cheap and make gold with enchanting buying either cloth or leather cheap later on in the expansion to DE and make gold that way?

Does the specializations matter at all for wotlk?
I did some research for gear to my prot paladin going into wotlk and noticed a lot of changes. almost all spell damage tank gear will have strength instead. Block values are increased on a lot of items. Pure tank items with only defensive stat have had strength added to them in many cases. And so on. Just thought it would be a great idea for a video as I don't think many people know about. I had no clue about it. Thank you for all your videos mate.

BIS professions for raiding are Engineering, and either JC or Tailoring depending on your class/role.
Engineering is an absolute MUST for rocket boots and haste enchant to gloves.
JC is a must for tanks and ARP classes, especially for ARP classes until they can swap to tailoring once at 1400 cap from gear.
Tailoring is BIS for all DPS and healing classes due to the SP/AP proc from cloak enchant, except for H Pally who needs the +34 gems from JC and the JC intellect trinket in Naxx tier.
LW is only viable at end end game raiding for the bracer resistance enchants for tanks and tanks only, but it is highly situational depending how much 0% buff content/solo tanking you're doing.
