I agree. I don't want to see Jones vs DC again at LHW. What's the point? I was surprised to hear Rogan and Cruz last night acting like this fight MUST happen again at LHW. At Heavyweight it's very intriguing, but Jon already said that's not gonna happen.

Jones knocked him out but failed his test, was stripped and banned and the result was overturned.. Do you kids even follow MMA? You guys probably think Silva's record says he beat Nick Diaz... Noobs.
VALIS Machine Matt Hamill also has a win on paper over Jon Jones, but he still got the shit beat out of him. Just like dc. Jones made dc cry. What more is there to say??
Only reason why Jon won is because he was hitting Gus in the back of the head which is flat out illegal........... how is no one talking about this ?!? every single punch I saw Jon hit Gus with on the ground, to me they looked SO OBVIOUS in being illegal hits to the back of the head, I was literally sitting on my sofa expecting the referee to step in, say the shots were illegal, give Gus some time to recover, and then put them back into position whilst watching Jons shots more carefully, but nothing was done for some reason and then the fight was stopped, absolutely ridiculous decision in my opinion, but oh well I guess we get to see Jon vs DC.
Jon’s gameplan is this.. with the last dc fight and with Gus the second time. He plays it safe. Only hits the opponent when the opponent is out of range to hit him back .. and Jon picks his shots and destroys the opponents tools. Takes them away breaks them.. then when the opponent doesn’t have many if any options to retaliate Jon destroys them. Brilliant. Incredible.
Chael is actually right that was clearly his strategy if you go back and watch the fight he actually came out completely dry which fighters never do so that shows they wanted to go to the ground
Stale NFS you’ll have to check out the interview but to start it off Jon says he’s only gonna talk to Ariel. You could tell Chael was pissed the rest of the show.
Jon Jones did NOT look great in this fight he looked a bit rough and sloppy but sure he won. Alexander was DUMB enough to come with exactly the same tactics & techniques as he did in the first fight and think that would get him the win. Would LOVE to see Jones get smashed then have to explain himself at post fight interviews, as he is so cocky and arrogant.
CloudsBeyond WAAAAAAAAA crybaby he’s never going to lose, bet you said that’s what was gonna happen tonight too and you’re crying to TH-cam that you were wrong
I was surprised that Jones was able to hold Gus down like that after the takedown. He has absolutely brutal GnP, but has always had problems holding guys down once he takes them down. A nice development in his game.
DC has a better chance to beat Jones at Heavyweight, because he doesn’t have cut 40-50lbs, and Jones knows that, and that’s the reason why Jones has said I will not fight DC at Heavyweight. Jones always want the advantage. Even though he’s a more skilled fighter than DC if people haven’t noticed for some reason he always wants an advantage, whether it’s PED’S or not wanting to fight at Heavyweight. Jones walks around at about 225- 230lbs, but his weight cuts are easier for him plus taking PED’S have seemed to help him. I’m not saying Jones can’t win at Heavyweight, but it would be a bit more challenging. Why doesn’t he just move up, he already has cleaned out the light Heavyweight division.
@@joshuathurgood6120 not at all the science says the most likely explanation is it is residual from the previous time and that this is not some big conspiracy that if uncovered would cost ufc its ability to get licensed.

He had a cold btw....that probably had something to do with it but he is also not the same wildcard youthful fighter, this is a more calculated Jones, he has been fighting this way for a long time now. Would you speak to a guy that kicked your ass for 3 rounds straight and then dropped you like a bad habit in the final 10 seconds of the third round what did you expect chaels yet to lose a round and Jons still not over it, go figure
Agreed. Jones’ keys to victory were tying Gustafsson’s strikes with clinches and breaking Gus’ effective striking combinations by bone shattering leg kicks. By round 3 Gus had a sense of urgency to knock Jones out which ultimately hastened his defeat at the hands of Jones.
I really think Brock Lesnar is a terrible matchup for Pico Jones. Just like our lord and savior Chael whooped on Anderson for 4.9 rounds with God tier wrestling I think Lesnars rasslin is Pico's kryptonite

Say what you want about Cheal. He may be wrong at times, but I believe even when he is wrong, he is sincere. I have said it before and will say it again. Jon "Bones" Jones is a freak of nature. When he retires from this sport, the whole MMA world will miss him. Always keep in mind extraordinary people come with extraordinary behaviors. This is what makes them who they are. We look for overall perfection in people, not recognizing there can never be such. Jones is another wonder that nature gifted us with and I appreciate his presence in the world.
I really thought Gus would double up the jab, be light on his feet move in and out use feints go to the body and throw his own kicks but the man looked lethargic, slow and Jon was taking over minute by minute. Gus landed some nice shots but you can really tell that his team and himself learnt a lot from the first fight and implemented a good game plan. I'd love to see Jones vs DC at heavyweight in my humble opinion I think it's a very close fight at heavyweight and DC has the power to KO or really hurt Jones also Jones vs Cain V, that was be some fight.
Dont get me wrong, mad appreciation for them, but the quality of character pales in comparison to the likes of DC, DJ, Holloway and Whittaker. The smugness, arrogance, the fakeness. Both are douchebags who are brilliant at what they do. And I cant wait to see them lose. Peace
Dansul quality of character? DC is a wrestling coach but takes to social media to talk shit even though he's a champ? Great example for the kids. Quality character. 👌
Jon played it well. Kept his range constantly especially with the kicks unlike last fight fighting close, so alex couldn't use his boxing (unless he took risks, which he didn't) and broke him down from the outside. But it's almost like Alex didn't show up and beat himself. Way too hesitant, hardly ever throwing power shots. When Jon was backed up against the cage alex didn't take the opportunity to let his boxing kick in. Choked, very frustrating to watch. I'd like to see Jones V DC at heavyweight next. Something new to the story. See if Jones can beat him there too roids or not.
Pretty much. I have seen too many HBO boxing matches go down like that. It was like watching CroCop in his slump. When you see guys do what Gus did, they almost always lose.

Jon Jones* could be the a great but I offer you this, Jon Jones* will always have an asterisk next to his name.
*May or may not have been on cocain, steroids, oral turinabol at the time.
I'M GOING TO SAY IT ONCE AGAIN, THE MOST INTELLIGENT PERSON IN THE FIGHT GAME. HAPPY NEW YEAR AND GODSPEED
I feel for Gus. That was the worst possible timing to be “off”.
His last title shot, against arguably the best fighter, full of pika grams.
Still love ya gus, goodluck with the modeling gig.
I agree. I don't want to see Jones vs DC again at LHW. What's the point? I was surprised to hear Rogan and Cruz last night acting like this fight MUST happen again at LHW.
At Heavyweight it's very intriguing, but Jon already said that's not gonna happen.
Comment if Jon Jones is the GOAT and like if GSP is the GOAT.
Jones.
Jones the 🐐
Jon Jones is undefeated other than a ridiculous DQ he is the GOAT by FAR no comparison and yes he uses steroids he got caught fair and square won't be surprised if he gets suspended again by Nevada.
Jones is the GOAT and true LHW Champ!
Bones
That's *NOT* the definition of insanity... If I try to teach my dog to sit, eventually he'll get it. If you Practice something over and over again, eventually you'll become great at it.
Chael why did Jon diss you on ESPN ??
Every Jones victory, from the start until he hangs it up, will have a huge question mark over it and an asterisk attached to it.
DC shouldn't take the fight. He has ZERO to prove. Make a statement by not fighting Jones. He doesn't deserve his time or energy.
Bullshit..as a fighter, ya? He should and will.DC is a fighter.Im sure in his heart he needs to avenge his 2 defeats to Jones..and? If he believes he is talented enough to do so,bet your ass he will.
NewWorld yeah getting knocked out and embarrassed again would not be good for his image
Destroyer I’d kinda like to see DC cry again tho.
I love Chael. His insight is thee best.
Wich makes you wonder, just how good really turbinabol is?
I left the room when I saw Gus doing nothing. Came back; he got finished.
But the question is how good is JJ without steroids.
There's no one to beat Jones. The best of the LHW division have been fucked. He'll stay at the top for years to come.
Why would you go against a cheater roid user ?
Because deep down Gustafson knows Jon didn't cheat and so does DC
Big Peen cuzz he an idiot just like everyone else who goes against solid evidence. ( positive drug test )
money... pressure from the ufc... why else?
Those were some very powerful hits to the back of Gus' head.
I love to watch Pico fight but I hate to hear him talk.
Brilliant. Incredible.
Tito tapped!!!!!!!
Anonymous Tito tapped
I saw tito tap
Chael is actually right that was clearly his strategy if you go back and watch the fight he actually came out completely dry which fighters never do so that shows they wanted to go to the ground
But where does a picogram fit into all of this?
If Daniel wants to retire w any pride , he needs to give stipie a rematch
Bones just tryin to make Chael look bad on live ESPN broadcast. He just made himself look more like a d bag.
wasn't trying to make him look bad just doesn't like him
Jon had an interview with chaeland Ariel and Jon only spoke with Ariel@Stale NFS
Stale NFS you’ll have to check out the interview but to start it off Jon says he’s only gonna talk to Ariel. You could tell Chael was pissed the rest of the show.
Saw that, he will pay for his disrespect to Lord Chael! Hopefully Cormier or someone cleans his clock lol
Jon Jones just don't like haters
Surprised I’m saying this, but I was looking forward to hearing what Chael had to say
Here's what happened: Steroids
FAKE NEWS
Don't use the Steroid excuse, dont rely on Fake News to discredit Jones.. Steroids did happen, Jon Jones happened. He's the GOAT!
facts
NostalgiNorden you know nothing
Steroids don't make you smarter, the adjustments he made this fight were the reasons he dominated this fight
Chael always gives interesting perspectives
Jon Jones did NOT look great in this fight he looked a bit rough and sloppy but sure he won. Alexander was DUMB enough to come with exactly the same tactics & techniques as he did in the first fight and think that would get him the win. Would LOVE to see Jones get smashed then have to explain himself at post fight interviews, as he is so cocky and arrogant.
Stylebender needs to come up and beat Jon Jones.
Actually Jones was great in this fight. He took very little damage and got a third round finish against a very skilled opponents.
@@genluna1221 stylebender can't beat Jones
CloudsBeyond WAAAAAAAAA crybaby he’s never going to lose, bet you said that’s what was gonna happen tonight too and you’re crying to TH-cam that you were wrong
donte dupree exactly. People think he didn’t look great but he just made Gustafson look ordinary! That’s pretty crazy considering how good Gus is
I don't mean this in a bad (or good) way, but Chael is the most American geezer I've ever heard / seen.
Let Jones and Lesnar roid out and see who is the Steroid Czar of the UFC.
Mike Cardinale that’s the fight I want to see! No drug testing, and Lesnar not pretending for a second he knows how to strike from his feet.
I was surprised that Jones was able to hold Gus down like that after the takedown. He has absolutely brutal GnP, but has always had problems holding guys down once he takes them down. A nice development in his game.
Can’t wait for him to test positive two weeks from now. Gonna be hilarious.
Chanel is a master at this stuff man 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
To bad he cheated he could be the lebron of mma
Because lebron would never use steroids
He is still not on the record as the best. A cheater is never in that discussion
Who the f uck are you to judge, basement dwelling keyboard warrior?
@@vicm7876 be mad at a cheater being called a cheater. lol
Not a Jones fan but the science says he didn't cheat. General public has to understand it isnt cut and dry.
@@izbo10 The science says he took Turinabol and then took something to hide the fact.
@@joshuathurgood6120 not at all the science says the most likely explanation is it is residual from the previous time and that this is not some big conspiracy that if uncovered would cost ufc its ability to get licensed.
The REAL questing is: Just how good would Gustafsson have been if he was on the "picogram"?... 🤔
Jon Jones was juiced.
no shit
Are you Kidding me? Juice or No Juice The Man Flat Out Rules MMA Right Now!
But the question still remains, just how good is artem lobov?
Jones broke Gus down throughout the fight. They have to attack him outside the cage because they can’t beat him inside the cage. Jones is the best bottom line.
He's so good it's almost like he's on Turinabol
What happened is he failed his test and he'll probably fail his post test also.
Chael you the man solid breakdown.
It was a terrible fight, dont want to see cormier fight jones again. He can't beat jones, jones should fight ngannou or some other heavyweight
Chael “no man with that kind of six-pack is not on steroids” Sonnen lol
I think it’s a tainted win cus his positive peds tests
He had a cold btw....that probably had something to do with it but he is also not the same wildcard youthful fighter, this is a more calculated Jones, he has been fighting this way for a long time now. You are right though Chael, on his absolute worst night, he is better than every other fighter in the world....
Jones didn't want to speak with you. That's rude!
Would you speak to a guy that kicked your ass for 3 rounds straight and then dropped you like a bad habit in the final 10 seconds of the third round what did you expect chaels yet to lose a round and Jons still not over it, go figure
@@Bushey4545 If there's any reason to hate Jon (for me personally) it's this one. Come on, man, where's the respect. It's been like five/six years...
March 2nd is in Vegas, Jones vs DC 3 will happen there. Mark my words
Steroids happened. Thank God for Gsp that beaten a steroid head back in the days.
Greatness happened.
Steph s
Gsp was probably the biggest juice heads out off all off them !
How the fuck can you explain in the era where everyone was doing P.e.d literally everyone
He’s was bigger and stronger than everyone?
I love gsp but I don’t think he’s as clean as we think
@@GodsonFPS cheatness happened.
Vita Min keep attacking him outside the cage because you know when he steps in their you have to shut the fuck up and watch him do work
Which makes you wonder, just how good is picograms of Turinabol..?
FUCKIN CHEAT!!!!
You cry almost as much as DC 😂😂😂
@Patrick Rodgers nah Jon will piss hot again any day now
@Patrick Rodgers That's all they can cling onto now, it's sad honestly...
@Patrick Rodgers he cheated lol, you mad?
@@adrianpheiffer9960 doesnt cheat though 😂😂😂

Cant stand Jon Jones. Cant stand Floyd. They are the best... and each time I watch in the hope of seeing them fall.
Then theirs an issue with you man just appreciate greatness you are lucky to watch undefeated goats
Peace
@Sergio - If he dies, he dies - Ramos You sound like Dana. Tell me you didn't enjoy seeing Conor loose!
Dansul quality of character? DC is a wrestling coach but takes to social media to talk shit even though he's a champ? Great example for the kids. Quality character. 👌
@@hussain26049321 if he's so great then why does he cheat every time he has to prove it?
