Remember that whenever you match the side icons on the exploration cards, you get to advance your meeple immediately. no need to wait until the end of the "day" (page 12 of the rules).
Thanks!
Just received my copy, as part of my order for everything Iron Helm and also Tin Helm, looking forward to finally playing these games
Oh nice! Have fun!
Definitely will be getting the PNP of some of these.
Fingers crossed this gets available outside North America.
I order Tin Realm and Dust Runner two week ago when this video premiered. The games were supped to be deliver yesterday, but tracking said the USPS is waiting on the package. They must still be having issue with printing, or so many orders have been place that they are behind.
Anyway, I did get Tim Helm and played my first game. My Gnome Parson had two shards and I was in the second to last room on the fifth level when he was defeated by the Mimic. Very Exciting.
Handsome tin games. Dustrunner looks especially enticing. Not enough Road Warrior-esque themed games. I always wanted to see a States of Siege version and even tried my hand at designing a personal version. Thanks for excellent showcase, Daniel!
Really interested by the Tim/Iron games, too bad they can't be bought in EU at a decent price :(
Let's goooo! I was hoping you were gonna cover this one soon.
Hope you enjoyed it!
@@TheDungeonDive Definitely did. You always have a great way of breaking games down that I enjoy watching. Most of the games you cover, I'd love to immediately purchase, but getting games in Europe ain't so easy (or cheap!) unfortunately. For now, it's just sort of fun to live vicariously through you with these games.
My copy lucked out and didn't have the print issue.
Glad to hear that some of them are OK!
Been waiting for your thoughts on this one! I’m loving it so much!
Thanks for the overview. Always love Grey Gnome games, I'll be getting this one soon. Wonder what's going on with UnderQuest?
It's still in development. Jason has been sharing new stuff on his FB group. It's looking great.
looks interesting
I really like the warbly bit of synth at the beginning of your videos. Is it by someone specific?
Yes, me. :) Thanks.
You should make a dungeon synth album!
I've got a whole mess of experimental ambient albums recorded and released! I know quite a few people use them when they are playing games.

Great video, as always:)
I didn't notice the issue with the cards in my copy of Tin Realm. maybe because I was in one of the later shipping waves.
Yeah. Probably.
Out of all of the tin games from Jason, which do you think you like the most? Personally, I think my ranking is Gate(s) < Dust Runner < Tin Helm/Realm (I consider them the same game since the characters and trappings cards can be mixed together). Dust runner is more of my preferred taste visually and thematically but there are some things I feel like are missing gameplay wise or could've easily been added. I too have the messed up cards. I was wondering why they were so shiny and look blue to me. I was actually missing an enemy card from Gates, but I'm not totally sure which, and different dice and cube colors than what others seem to have gotten. I haven't gotten Dig Down Dwarf, but I might some day because I like crystals.
I really like Tin Helm.
Nice video! Did you checked Dragon Spark from Peter Jank?
Not yet!
@@TheDungeonDive got two plays in! The game seems to be quite good! With lots of interesting choices. I’m looking forward to get your opinion on it ^^
Thank you for another great video. I am new to the channel and binged watched more than once the Hero Quest videos. Do you have the solo rules to share or your house rules to share? Or links to the solo rules you used? Also.....because of your channel I bid on Rune Quest 2nd edition. I can see you will put a dent in my wallet..... Thank you for everything.
All of the links for the solo rules for HQ were provided in those videos! Look in the discription. Most from BGG. My WIP HQ Bestiary is available for Dungeon Dive patrons.
you didn't add the "dungeon level" to the skullum should have been 6 health
Yep! Thank god it's not a teaching video! I don't do those because I make too many mistakes. :)
@@TheDungeonDive easy to forget. Great video. Love what you do
I forget so much stuff! LOL. :) Thanks.
Is it possible to add those monster cards to iron helm?
Tin Helm?
@@TheDungeonDive yes
The component quality is a real bummer. Well below their usual standards.
I think they just had a bad batch for the original crowd sale, which is very unfortunate. I've ordered a whole bunch of games from the GC, and this is the only issue I've ever had.
Ok if you guys would have to pick between Tin Realm, and Tin Helm for your first game this size. Which one do you think is the most fun? Thats the one I will order and if i enjoy it ill probably buy all his games.
I prefer Tin Helm.
@@TheDungeonDive Thanks so much, you do an amazing job teaching us!
While i love tin realm i found it too easy.aren't the ennemi supposed to get stronger? As we progress?
The day should be added to the health so all the enemies on day one have an extra hit point and so on as the days progress. Enough damage was dealt though so it was fine.
@@Patronsaintofkillers but the rules dont state this isn't it?
yes the monsters add the "day number" to their HP, just like in Helm where you add the current dungeon level to their HP.
@@bryB1 well...i feel dumb.. i will check the rules again...
@@bryB1 that's why the game seemed so easy.
sorry not runequest, but runebound......lol
