- In today's 5 Minute Cards Video, I show you the Split Embossed Design with Embossing Folders. This quick and easy technique makes cards look SO elegant! You can add any focal image and a quick sentiment and you will have a card that makes them wonder how you did that!

Nice tip on not getting a line. Cute idea with mix folders. I’ve always cut separate pieces & glued on the front.

@@yvonnetomenga5726 No, I haven't because there's a good chance it may be down to my device, my internet or even a mix of any/all. I'm almost certain that when my internet or device cuts out, even for a second, all my notifications - not just the utube ones - are all wiped, gone, disappeared, no more, zilch, nothing at all until the next lot are sent through but no sign of the previous ones.....hmmmm.....yeah, I'm thinking that it probably is my tablet. DOH! 🙄

I haven't tried this technique yet, but I really want to try it. Just not sure if it will work with the Gemini Jr. because I always see it done on the Spellbinders machine. Pretty card!

You said, that you could make your own ephemera. Would you be willing to discuss or do a video on that? I've seen some free watercolor designs on a couple of sites, that are very nice. Not sure where to start.
What I meant was stamping and coloring your own flowers and leaves and die cutting them as opposed to buying pre-colored and pre-cut designs. ❤️
