All alone now, the landscape is changing the roads are disappearing we are going deeper into South America as I try to find the Peru border, (Still in Ecuador) more than 8,000 kilometers to travel still to get to my destination, I highly doubt the Harley Davidson Road King will make it !

Here’s the thing about your tire pressure… when you check it in the morning before you ride, your tires are cold and the pressure will be lower. After 5 or ten minutes of riding, the pressure will be higher probably by about 5psi. That’s why when you checked your pressure after 100KM’s the pressure was reading higher then the initial 38 psi you had at the start. Great adventure mate, keep the wheels turning :)

Peru Highway 1, most widely known as Carretera Panamericana, is the most important highway in Peru. This road is the Peruvian portion of the Pan-American Highway. It runs north-south through the whole length of the country and connects all major cities in the country's coastal area.

I'm thinking you must have had your sat-nav options set to Shortest distance vs Fastest Route. Would have expected your route would have been along with all the commercial vehicles moving north and south? But, still seeing the back roads is cool though.
I think Danny has found the "use road least travelled" setting on the GPS

Once you get on the Pan American Highway through Peru, you'll be able to knock out 1,000 Ks or more a day.
Quito in Ecuador to the Death Road in Bolivia is less than 3,500 km.

You’re likely loosing more air of a night because tyre temps during the day whilst riding will increase the pressure inside the tyre/rim, as it cools at night while parked a bit more air gets out then when hot. Albeit in your bent rim circumstance not normally.

Hi! Bogie, a quick info down load tip as with regards to your rim, any joiner's clamp will draw it back in, most of these tumble weed town's you pass through will have one,. wood plank on the good side and the metal on the damage side and just screw in , forget the sat- nav pick the best tarmac on the map , Wright down and put it on tank bag ,and reel that road in .good luck mucker.

During your next trip get a separate tire pressure gauge so you won't lose 3 psi while putting that nozzle in and out. Those inflation kit hoses are terrible.

You crossed the equator just north of Quito. Since you "no speaka Espanish" you should know that Ecuador means equator. You are now in the Southern Hemisphere and it will soon be summertime (since you mentioned that the date of this video is Nov. 5th). The reason it is getting colder is because you are travelling along the Andes Mountains and will do the same throughout Peru. You are are at altitudes of 14,000 - 16,000 throughout parts of the journey. You will likely hit snow during parts of your trip.
Every second is exciting , it is never boring, and that's a credit to you Daniel, it mite be nothing, but i learned when i was a teenager, you don't put air in tyres, when they get hot, as the tyre expands, but maybe it's ok , because tyres now, are tubless , stay safe, my friend .
It seems to me Danny your journey so far is the Death Road you seek like the chase is the destination, keep it up , great footage and editing. Keep enduring and don't you quit .⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
