As a cast member who works in entertainment, let me say one thing. The characters who walk around are supposed to continue walking. When following a character use your words and ask for photos. There are plenty of birthdays and they try to see every person they can, that is how it works.

Being a first time mom to one year old identical girls, I know I have to protect them from social media because twins/multiples get ALOT of attention, even going on a simple run to the grocery store. Ever since I created my Instagram, Facebook, etc during my teen years, I have remained having my profiles set to private & do not accept friend requests of people I don’t know. I know my baby girls will thank me & their dad for protecting them. I’m sad for all those children who are now paying the consequences of their parents actions.
Same! We have triplet boys. Have been asked so many times to please vlog a day in the life. Or even kindergarten and now school asked permission to use their photo's. My husband doesn't post ANY photos of them. I post carefully picked photo's on occasion on my private accounts.

i remember watching a snap story or a TikTok of Austin i forgot, something along the trend of parents asking their children to "help fight if the neighborhood kid her age jumps in" and he went up to elle and when elle realized she was being recorded she covered her mouth (I'm assuming because she lost her front tooth) and tried to leave quickly to the point she closed the door on him. I just remember feeling bad because she probably doesn't want her business or to feel exposed like that especially a missing front tooth moment as a kid can be a little embarrassing and the way she realized and covered her mouth instantly made me feel bad.

I work for my father. I’m an adult and we still butt heads sometimes because I think family and business doesn’t mix very well at times. I can’t imagine this situation as a child because the parent will probably just use the “I’m the parent” excuse and not listen to how their child feels. I don’t agree with family channels and I wish the best for those children

I went there more than 15 years ago; the characters used to run from place to place and didn't have the time for every single kid on their way! They made me cry as well, but I was 10 and when my dad explained me that they were REAL PEOPLE, WORKING, I quickly got over it, because I understood that, while I was there with my family, on holiday, having fun, they simply were not, this was their job and their real life, not a game, not a play, so I had to have some respect, even if I really wanted Miss Minnie's signature!!!

Gotta say, my father raised his kids as his 'employees' and he didn't have a family channel, so I can only imagine how it would be to be in that situation and also be a public figure. Like, having a parent who is like 'if you're not good I don't have to feed you' and seeing you as an investment not as a child is really hard as the kid! It must be so much worse when you're also trying to be a public figure for other people.
