Tuomas Holopainen wrote it as a reflection upon his father’s passing in 2021. He reflects on how we have been blessed to have had lantern lights who have guided our lives and how we in turn should serve the same role for others. It is about our love for each other. I am the secret stream, moss beneath your feet, I am you who climbed off of my back not long ago, a sheltered song in a world now gone, petrichor, the timeless. Turn loose the swaying boat, meltwater, sound of spring. I hear our song now, sung by the free, for a thousand more tomorrows of an incomplete weave. To the meadows I go, I’ll be waiting for you once upon a lanternlight. I walk now toward the trees, I am the secret stream, the night falling at my feet into the forest of Yesterwynde.
I find he wrote a wonderful masterpiece, as a memory for his father, and Floor the one and only, who can deliver such a masterpiece of Tuomas Holopainen.
I'm 73 and I am the last man standing in my family. So this performance runs deep, cuts deep. I understand the loss, yet I still live with hope and intent. Nevertheless, Floor's voice and this composition is akin to an emotional depth charge to the heart. There is a tenderness and vulnerability there that I have not heard before, and it just breaks you. And her face, good Lord, her beautiful face so expressive and adorned with nothing save her heart and soul just melts me to my core. The poetry of this song is also heart-rendingly exquisite. It is a poem, a prayer, an elegy. Listen to it. Just listen to it. Tuomas’ poetry can easily stand alone. Some of you get it. Some of you don't. I do, and that's all that matters. The lyric ”I am you who climbed off my back. Not long ago” references to their song Our decades in the sun which was a written to all of their parents. Now the lyric is from another perspective.

Love how nightwish brings out the emotions. I’ve never experienced another band being able to do that so consistently. As far as pronunciation of the album it sounds like the D is silent and pronounced Yester-wine.
.. ok .. I was 1:28 into the review and had to stop and just say .. "I think .. this will blow you out of the water" .. in a good way! Floor show us her life experience in the lines on her face .. she is not afraid to face time's passage
