@@Kaiszer6655 Hope so too. I had to forewarn cause ppl being unnecessarily shitty to the show cause they aren't getting slapstick light comedy from it anymore. When the leads had already said it's a healing show and isn't just abt romance it focuses on a lot of issues.

Several factors why this show hasn’t been voted for yet:
1. It hasn’t finished airing yet, so the jury is out whether it’s good or not.
2. this drama is from the team of Hometown Cha Cha, which is a good drama but is slice of life focused. Slice of life usually caters to a specific viewership (not as wide)

Reason number 1 is a factor in any show I would vote for.

Love Next Door impresses with just a few episodes out, but unfortunately, toxicity from some fans overshadows its potential. Specifically, Jisoo shippers and Lovely Runner fans seem determined to discredit it and unfairly targeting this new series before it's even begun. This harmful behavior is not necessary. We should be uplifting new exciting shows not tearing it down. I was disappointed to see a lovely runner fan tag haein's official account with the hate reel they created for love next door.
to be honest, i loved lovely runner, but i like kdramas like love next door, that seem more "real life" i don't know how to explain, a lot of people hate on shows like this because they seem too real, one example is Nevertheless.

Due to certain tropes that occur up to ep 8, a lot of kdrama watchers have backed off this show temporarily until they are sure it isn't a ktrauma. The ones that can't handle sad topics moved to No Gain No Love and that is likely why nobody voted for this.
To be clear the tropes point to something but aren't necessarily going to end there.
My patreon community likes to wait until a show has ended to confirm that its good. They never pick the new shows. Even lovely runner and queen of tears.
But i didnt realize the hype to this show and bound myself to the poll without room for the trio to do the winner and one we chose.
We are already maxed out without taking a slot from the anime community which we also dont wanna do.
But i confident your response holds some truth as well’s
People prefer No Gain No Love because it is good. Besides, Shin Minha, the lead in No Gain No Love has a better batting average when it comes fo hit shows. People trust her taste in projects. No Gain No Love is 100% romcom with emphasis on Comedy.
