Over the decades I've had great success with Mar-Hyde One-Step Rust Converter. That was a tough job but mission accomplished. My attitude is "Mess with the best and die like the rest." 😄-KJ
I have a tip for you buddy find some local honey and have teaspoon a day with your coffee and that will probably take care of your pollen allergy but it needs to be local honey 🍯 my work worked for me 😊
No idea why you do this ? I recently purchased a bead breaker on Amazon $100.00 I removed tire off of a 1947 Farmall took me 15 minutes I’m 74 years old didn’t break a sweat
Yeah, I still haven't done much other than clean them up. I was thinking about trying to find something to coat the inside of the rim with that will help protect the tube and rim both.

Thanks! I've been checking out some of those rust killing products. I'm not 100 percent sure which way I'm going to go just yet.
I used a needle scaler to remove the big chunks of rust, followed by paint on rust converter and then 2 coats of paint. Worked very well!
I'll have to remember that. I've thought about buying a needle scaler before, but I never have. It would probably be handy to have if I needed it.

I've heard that before, but I've never tried it. I think it may be time. Thanks!
