@@aspacegamer92 One suggestion could be giving the ability to report a code violation to CC trough the PDA or simply talking to the AI, if an admin is willing to stay by the game then they can jump in as a CC official and investigate the matter in character: They talk first to the HoS, hear some from the Warden and other officers, look for other witnesses, if nothing comes trough the issue is brought to the Captain who will have to take responsibility for Sec's behavior and failure in taking disciplinary action. If at any point the official dies CC can call ERT to arrest all the heads for questioning and evacuating the rest of the station, if the station defends the heads and ERT is forced to retreat/also dies then Death Squad is called.

I try to deconstruct someone's giant laser that they build in the middle of the station that's killing people while I'm acting captain, and the admin sends me a full-length essay in PM form about how they want to ban me, but won't, because it's "too much trouble." Meanwhile, these chucklefucks break all the rules of how to play sec, accompanied by validhunting borgs whobreak all the AI laws, and I'm willing to bet none of them saw consequences. That seccie probably got promoted to HoS the next round. Just /tg/ things.

honestly i agree with you a lot, i have never been fond of the way people act on most serves in this game. i've been trying to find stations where people act a bit less insane and wacky but the search never ends. i'd still suggest trying it out a bit, maybe on the higher rp servers, but uhhh you do you.

It won't ever be released on Steam, chances are. It's gonna be on BYOND for a good long time. Don't let these videos dishearten you, there's quite a bit of good adminship on /tg/ most of the time, and the game is a blast to get into. If this server isn't your speed, there's always a dozen other servers with their own code and rules (Yog, Paradise, Colonial Marines, Fallout, etc), and you can settle into those just fine. The code is similar enough between bases that experience in one tends to give experience in another, too.
I've been asked why I always declare war as nuke ops. There's something about using CQC to snap the legs of shitty crew like little twigs with full ban immunity that I can't resist.

borg shouldn't have been involved at all being an engiborg. if they were ordered to then locker welding was the best choice i guess to prevent harm. that said the borgs were actively hunting which they shouldn't have been doing. sec was abusive through the whole thing, excessive flashes to the point of blindness, plus all the torture, and breaking legs.

I love the security officer that broke every bone in your body, I tend to take the same "He fell down a flight of stairs" approach in dealing with murderous traitors. It helps to justify the whole experience of getting robusted later by the same traitor after he's escaped from perma and healed up.

Sec didn't even validhunt, a borg brought Joey to them, and even if they did hunt him down that would have been completely justified. Valid hunting is the worst when you have sec hunting valids that haven't even done anything yet. However, Joey just went and killed 4 people with 2 of them being command roles so of course they should hunt him down. Even the one seccie that attacked him while he was in perma was justified as he was attacked by Joey first. I mean what do you guys expect? To roll antag then expect people to sit around and let you kill them? The only thing I can agree with here is that borgs are ass, I have nothing against borg players except when they overstep to powergame and pretend to be security. They should obviously intervene when someone is being harmed, but going out of their way to arrest people when there's an existing security force is just stupid.
