    For how versatile this camera is, I think it’s amazing just got the black version and I’m so happy with it

    Hi, which ND filter shall I use for sunset and night time lapse setting ?

  • @SamSeenPlays

    Would you think they should have given an SD card slot on the action pod case for users to offload the footage and free up the built-in storage?

    • @PocketCams
      @PocketCams  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have more thoughts on that coming soon

      I wish they did but also wish they just forced everyone to get the 128gb lol I have the 64 and it works but I can't upgrade to the 128 etc

    Can the back screen be turned off, or does it stay on all the time? Thank you for your great videos

    • @PocketCams
      @PocketCams  ปีที่แล้ว

      During the star lapse it appears not possible to turn it off - it indicates that it is taking photos. And thank you :)

      @@PocketCams Hello, you are partly responsible for my upgrading from Go2 to Go 3, so thank you. You can briefly press the power button on the camera, which will shut down the back screen while you keep shooting.
      If you don't mind, my first star-lapse was exported at 15 fps. Is it possible to export it at 30 fps? Or, to make it simpler - Am I not seeing an option?

    Great video. How long did you film throughout the night?

    • @PocketCams

      About 13 hours with that set up - but I didn’t use all that footage in the video

    how to do this on the Insta360 studio? I dont use my phone to dump footage as much as my laptop as the transfers are a little slower over wifi

    • @PocketCams

      Only possible through the app

    • @PocketCams

      I say at 5 seconds in - auto-settings, and from 2.20 onwards.

    • @RMSFAM09
      @RMSFAM09 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sorry. No hate. But you said auto settings and then you began to move around an option for seconds i would have liked explaining. And then you said shoot with and without star trails and you didn’t show how with that either. Lol. Your doing a great job I’m just a nut.

    Is there a reason you didn't point it straight up into the sky?

    • @PocketCams
      @PocketCams  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes. Good practice to have foreground comparators to see how change is in context. Otherwise they all look the same!

    Please do a battery test of the camera itself without the action pod, how long does it shoot and is the overheating fixed? Nobody is talking about that which makes me think it's not fixed

    • @PocketCams
      @PocketCams  ปีที่แล้ว

      I never had the overheating problem - so I'm probably not in a great position to test that. But yes, will do a video recording battery test very soon. Will likely come out on my Shorts feed, so look out for it there

  • @rck211

    Good video. However, you are hyping this pretty hard and it really is a disappointing "upgrade" from the GO2. They dropped the ball on this one sadly.

    • @PocketCams
      @PocketCams  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi - don’t think I’m hyping ot. See my video from a couple of days ago and you’ll see what I didn’t like. And there’s more to come. I’ve had all the Go cameras. This is a series. Welcome, and stick around. Cheers!

    • @HillPhantom
      @HillPhantom ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@PocketCams I watch all your vides mate, you do a good job. I just full send disagree that you are A. not hyping it ( I get it, content and you prob got sponsorship). I have had all the GO's too, remember the old days of having to have an IPHONE for v 1... Great cameras just a full flop on this "upgrade" for the 3. I call it the 2.5 lol. Not flaming just let's be honest with viewers it's a full flop.

    • @PocketCams
      @PocketCams  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! Nope, no sponsorship - I would have declared that. I did get sent a pre-production version to review - I did say that. I’ll have a ‘one week later’ video coming up soon. Appreciate your view though. Next video is direct Go3 v Go2 footage comparison and examination of 2.7k v 1440p

      disappointed upgrade from Go2? clearly you are not the targeted buyer for such product so maybe you should just get over it 😂

    • @HillPhantom
      @HillPhantom ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chinpoeykhoo6261 rofl - yup only been using every go since launch, I use the 2 weekly, so I would say I am exactly the target repeat buyer. Its all good CHIN, still love insta just not a big upgrade over the 2, I mean if you think a flip up screen making it bulker with less res then my phone is a win, then I got nothing for ya. The only win is the battery but at the cost of size. It 100000% should have been 4K but enjoy the marginal upgrade to the camera itself!
