Christine's lead vocals on the "Classic Fleetwood Mac" era (1975-1988/1992-1998/2011-2018) were "Over My Head", "Warm Ways", "Say You Love Me", "Sugar Daddy", "Don't Stop", "You Make Loving Fun", "Songbird", "Oh Daddy", "Over and Over", "Think About Me", "Brown Eyes", "Never Make Me Cry", "Honey Hi", "Never Forget", "Hold Me", "Love In Store", "Only Over You", "Wish You Were Here", "Mystified", "Little Lies", "Everywhere", and "Isn't It Midnight".
Nice remembrance Joey. Have loved her “quiet cool” Brit beauty style since she joined “The Mac.”The great one’s are always irreplaceable and indispensable. 🤘😎
Knowing their music now, can you imagine going your whole life and not knowing this group of people had got together and made all this wonderful music?
Good on you for doing this on Christine McVie. She loved love, and she wanted to share her good times in song. The person before me listed a lot of her songs, but my personal favourites of hers were “say that you love me”, and “you make loving fun”. Like the guy you mentioned in this clip, they DO remind me of past (and present) loves. Good to hear you’re opinions on her, and her contributions to love.
One of the many things that are great about Fleetwood Mac is there were 3 singers in the band, Lindsey (guitarist), Christine and Stevie. Whoever wrote a song sang lead on it with the other 2 singing back up. Some bands have 2 lead singers but to have 3 was very rare.
Yesss!! 1987! Hahaha loved this when it first came out, it used to play on the radio and VH1 all the time!!! Lol. Back then they REALLY used to put a lot of effort into their music videos and really tell a STORY! They didn’t get to be to get their in life but they did in death! So sweet! And yes it is in the commercial for the newest electric Chevy! Lol So happy to see the next generations discovering old favorites! ❤
Mel, the commercial you are thinking of is the new Chevy commercial. I heard it on there also and I was surprised (and delighted ) it was Fleetwood Max.
Now...Picture yourself staring off into a beautiful sunset from your porch/patio/etc, sipping your favorite beverage to this song. My first time hearing this was 1989 in Avila Beach, my grandfather's back porch which faced the sunset.
So sad to hear of Christine Mcvie's passing. What a talented singer songwriter. She had so many great songs with Fleetwood Mac. Their album "Rumours" is one of the best-selling albums in history. Eight of their hit songs were written or co-written by her including "Don't Stop", "Everywhere", "Little Lies", "Over My Head", "Say You Love Me", "You Make Loving Fun", "Songbird", "Hold Me" etc. She also recorded 3 solo albums. She will be greatly missed.
The whole performance live from the 1976 Midnight Special . Great songs from Christine... must check out 👍 Only Over You, is another lost nugget that I just revisited it lately ...OMG what a beautiful song. That was a gift.Thank you Christine !
My dears I have been very emotional because of lovely Christine's passing so I have been playing "OH HAPPY DAY" by THE EDWIN HAWKINS SINGERS. It had the opposite effect on me, it's beauty and power reduced me to a sobbing puddle.
She was an amazing talent, and her passing is so sad! Shawn and Mel, you should check out her solo material too. She had a couple of hits in the 80s, which are well worth a listen: Got A Hold On Me and Love Will Show Us How. Please check 'em out!
Most people identify with Stevie Nicks as the female powerhouse behind Fleetwood Mac. But Christine McVie was in the group first and graciously accepted a subservient role after Stevie joined. Chris was a superb singer and songwriter who wrote outstanding numbers like: Don't Stop, Over My Head, Oh Daddy, You Make Loving Fun, Little Lies, Say You Love Me, Songbird and so many others. Underrated, yes. Underappreciated, probably. But not in this corner. RIP Christine Perfect.
Let's not forget Christine Mc Vie was a member of an underrated 60's Blues Band "Chicken Shack" and recorded some solo work, personally I preferred The original Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green, however she was a great artist and I preferred her lead vocals to Stevie Nicks
She was a lovely woman and mostly immune (minus her affair ) to a lot of the drama in the mac. I think she enjoyed being a bit more back if the scenes especially after seeing Stevie snort enough coke in the 80s to fill a landfill. Rip
My favorite Fleetwood Mac song! Makes me so happy every time I hear it.
This definitely in my top 3 Fleetwood Mac songs
I miss her so much…I still can’t believe she’s gone…but always in my heart forever and her beautiful music.❤

"Love Shines", "Temporary One"
you left out a few...but that's a good list.
U mention only 75-88😂
Nice remembrance Joey. Have loved her “quiet cool” Brit beauty style since she joined “The Mac.”The great one’s are always irreplaceable and indispensable. 🤘😎
Her song “Warm Ways” is still one of the sensually romantic songs ever.
Just love her voice and all her songs.
Even after death, a person can leave such a lasting imprint on peoples lives, good music is such a gift from above.
Gorgeous voice- phenomenal musician.
A few songs from Fleetwood Mac that most people don't cover, All over Again, Goodbye Baby and Storm's , absolutely amazing songs .
R.I.P Christine McVie. I love this tune - in fact the whole “Tango in the night” album is wonderful, as is “Rumours”. One of my favourite bands.
These legends never truly die, because the music lives on forever more, we are truly blessed, thank you Christine, god bless you.
Fleetwood Mac had a lot of great songs but this is my favorite song of theirs.
Me too!
Love you guys, her passing hit many of us so hard.
She wrote the majority of their biggest hits, including Over My Head, Say You Love Me, .Don’t Stop, and Songbird
Knowing their music now, can you imagine going your whole life and not knowing this group of people had got together and made all this wonderful music?
Glad you now here
My girls love this band 💓🤩💓
RIP CHRISTINE McVie
R.I.P. Christine McVie. (1943-2022). 🙏😔🌠 "You can go your own way, Songbird. But don't stop thinking about Tomorrow..."❤
“Oh Daddy” is one of Christine’s songs from Rumours. It’s underrated completely. True blues. Highly recommended.

On vocals, Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, and Stevie Nicks
This song is very legendary, the reaction from you two is legendary, thank you ❤

Just another great track!

Mel, the commercial you are thinking of is the new Chevy commercial. I heard it on there also and I was surprised (and delighted ) it was Fleetwood Max.
Love this song, sure it is based on the poem the Highway Man by Alfred Lord Tennyson
Her voice was even better live. So good. Listen to "The Dance" live concert version.
Yes this is true!
You two are the best couple on TH-cam.
I vicariously pick up on your positive vibes.🙂
Christine McVie leading with Lindsay Buckingham in Fleetwood Mac song "HOLD ME" is my favorite of all their songs (original video). RIP Christine. ❤️

R.I.P Christine. Also you guys are great love your reactions.
Yes i want to go EVERYWHERE with you down this rabbit hole 😂😊

I watch a ton of reaction videos, I just loved both of your energy and vibe. So happy to subscribe. Mel you made me smile watching you smile!
Classic songs S&M I am glad you enjoyed it
Little Lies is such a great song. She was a great and amazing singer/songwriter. RIP, 🕊
Christine is quite simply, the real effing deal.
Great song, great reaction. Take care Shawn and Mel.
McVie's song "Don't Stop" was made an unofficial campaign anthem for Clinton/Gore in 1992 because of its theme of leaving the past behind.
Seen Fleetwood Mac 2010 Christine wasn't on the tour I was devastated rock on 😘😘😘😘😘🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺😘
Check out the songs Why and Wish you were here. Both truly fantastic. What am I saying, everything she did was great.
Thanks guys.
I second those choices, also As Long As You Follow and Brown Eyes.
An old one from Christine McVie is “Show Me A Smile” from their “Future Games” album gets hooked in my head every time I hear it.

I think Mel said "perfect" during the last chorus. That describes it!
She was an amazing talent, and her passing is so sad!
Shawn and Mel, you should check out her solo material too. She had a couple of hits in the 80s, which are well worth a listen: Got A Hold On Me and Love Will Show Us How.

They play this all the time on a commercial lately do anyone know the commercial in talking about? Great song RIP Christine McVie.
Chevy I think.
This song is actually in a car commercial playing on TV right now. It might be KIA, I'm not sure.
Christine is the best
Farewell to Christine McVie 😢
Goodbye McVie, so sad to see you leave us...
It was a Chevy commercial.
She was a lovely woman and mostly immune (minus her affair ) to a lot of the drama in the mac. I think she enjoyed being a bit more back if the scenes especially after seeing Stevie snort enough coke in the 80s to fill a landfill. Rip
Featured in a car commercial
Please try the song Tango in the Night by Fleetwood Mac 😘
Everyone talks about the Beatles, Queen, The Kinks etc…
Personally , I think Fleetwood Mac were/are the best band ever.
Do react to Queen's "You Take My Breath Away"
