@@michaeltomczyk3311 I don't, sorry about that. But if you can find someone who does surface-mount electronics work, they have access to the right equipment and it's a pretty easy job for them.

@@cargoudel I did just buy this car and don’t know much about it yet but it has all the right codes and all I see online is if you have them it’s the ecu so I’m pretty hopeful this works for me. I haven’t seen any smoke or fumes or whatever but the owner did say every once in a while you have to floor it to make it start so is sounds like it’s on the right track. You should still replace that TPIC if you are getting 201-204 codes and the 245 wastegate code at the same time when the problem shows itself. I just mean it’ll be harder to test without fully reinstalling, but that open startup test is useful to at least show that you replaced the chip correctly. I have had ECUs that only quit after getting hot and it was also the TPIC.
Hi my T8 ECU has come up a Po606 code is there anything i can do to fix it as they want a $1000 for a refurbished one here in Australia or whats the best way to go about it
If the car has been tuned it could be bad settings / bad map. If the car is 100% stock, it's probably the processor or may be corroded connectors. I would check out the website trionic tuners for help with ECUs, register for the site, and use the search.
Hi, I had a question about the ECM relocation kit you mentioned; apart from extending the ground wire for the ECM, was there any additional wiring you had to do for the relocation kit?
If you having the P0201, P0202, P0203, P0204, P0245 codes all at the same time (P0245 is important here!). Yes, this is probably the issue. Can't say 100% though. Test it before you close it up.
Hello, i got mine replaced cause of an intermittent P1682 code. After the replacement of ecu, the code is gone. I still have the old one and i wonder if i can fix it and use it as a backup. Can you help me out with this?
Looking at some schematics on trionic tuner site, that code is for the main relay which is on the other TPIC but that one is near the top under the cross bar near where it hinges.
I've got a 9-3 which starts and runs good, but it sounds like it's not firing on some of the cylinders sometimes. It happens when the engine is cold. When the engine is warmed up, that problem is gone. And it drops the rpm faster than normal aa well during a gearchange. And I got a fault code P0686 which has something to do with the ECU. It's quite difficult to explain, but what du you think could be the problem?
Did you replace the injectors as well? Had my Ecu fixed and the repair place required I changed my injectors as well. Just curious what your thoughts are regarding this. Thanks for the video!

Search u2105 and p0601 on this forum www.trionictuning.com/forum/ There are many possible causes: bad Relay R11, bad ground on ring terminal on ECU, or it could need to be reflashed, or the ECU microcontroller may be bad.
Hello good morning sorry for my English I use translator .. I have not read all the comments maybe I have already asked this question .. kindly I would like to know if after replacing the chip you have to program the ECU or is it not necessary to start it? thank you
The chip has no memory. But I would make a backup of your original ECU incase you destroy it while working in it. It’s easy, there is a link in the description.
Not if it's the original ECU. The chip I show replacing doesn't have code or memory. It's just a MOSFET Gate driver. But I would make a backup in case you screw it up and want to buy a replacement and reprogram and remap. If you make a backup you can buy any almost ECU from any 9-3 from 03-11, but if you don't have the backups you have to get the exact same part number.
When I bought the relocation kit, bracket, etc., linked in the description, it came with a video I used to do the work. But when you unwrap the harnesses, it's pretty apparent which wires are too short of reaching.
Please check the description for mistakes and corrections.

Hi, I had a question about the ECM relocation kit you mentioned; apart from extending the ground wire for the ECM, was there any additional wiring you had to do for the relocation kit?
You have to extend around 4 wires and a ground. Pretty easy if you comfortable with simple electrical / electronics work.

Not required but recommended in case you destroy the unit. The chip we replace has no memory.
Will the same chip work in the ECM for a 2010 2.0 9-3x?
Yes.
