Pick Up The Pieces ~ Nat Jay ~ Merlin | Kerry | Athena

We had a wonderful Moores Farm Equestrian Centre with Merlin and Kerry. As always, it was amazing to see the team at Moores Farm and have a catch up!
He is with us for jump training and schooling as he can be sticky and lazy. This was his second jumping session with us.
He went first in the 60cm and 70cm. He worked really hard on the flat, we aimed for him getting off the leg. So even if he only did a couple of strides without being supported by the leg, that’s a major improvement so he was rewarded. We also did plenty of transitions and a light seat at the beginning of his canter to sharpen him up.
He still needed a lot of support over the warm up fences but jumped first time.
He’s very green and sticky with his fillers and fences in general so rode every fence and were so proud when he flew them all first time, just dropping the last pole of the 70cm as he got a bit tired.
Next in the video is Kerry, who hadn’t had an outing for a while! Popped him around 80cm and 90cm courses just for fun and he took his jumps beautifully and was so happy!
Last in the video are our lovely friends, Sarah and Athena, jumping beautifully! They had a lovely clear in the 80cm!
