    There are many mutual fund categories helping you attain diverse financial goals. ELSS is the only mutual fund that qualifies for tax deduction under Section 80C. NPS out beats ELSS when it comes to tax benefits. However, mutual funds are more flexible than NPS which has a lock-in period till retirement. NPS and Mutual Funds are for different financial goals and investment horizons. People choose between them depending on their investment needs and risk tolerance.

    I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed out on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks.I believe having 75K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. I know this sounds a bit dull but I would like to know if I should learn investing or let somebody else (more capable like a FA) do it for me? Please share your thoughts. I am kind of tired of searching for a good stock to buy and losing all the good opportunities

      Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others, as an investor, you should’ve known that by now, nothing beats experience and that’s final, personally I had to reach out to a stock expert for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to a million, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I’m buying again

    Expenses in NPS is very low, say around 0.25% and in mutual funds it is between 1.75 to 2.5%. But, neither one is a replacement for other

    With NPS we will get 40% returns every year, 30% as tax benefit (we can save Rs 15000/year) + 10% annual return = 40% return.

    Tax implications as well.
    Is it tax beneficial on maturity or redemption if we invest on wife name if she is home maker and no income? Or Income tax is calculated by clubbing both wife and husband returns as husband sourced the funds to wife for these investments. Please explain.

    at the age of 60, if the market is down and withdrawal is mandatory or we can opt for this based on market conditions?. can you explain with one example

    • @madhusudhanaraoa4366
      @madhusudhanaraoa4366 ปีที่แล้ว

      Surely, you can invest in lumpsums in tier 1, and tier Acs. In fact, it's a good stategy. You shoul regularly invest at every reasonable dip in the market ( Bench marking Nifty ) . If you follow, you would be sure to get, very, very good returns. This applies to MFs also. One can blindly follow this method and one need not follow anu stockmarket related videos and listen to any analyst's or experts, if this is followed. This advice is for, not just for you, for everyone.

      @@pusuluri27 After 60,lumpsum withdrawel 60& is not mandatory I believe. You can wait, until market picks up, which is a natural phenomena, as you would have noticed, how ever, deeper markets crashed, bounced back with same alacrity. You should utilise such golden opportunity every time by investing more, then adopt systematic wuthdrawel method.

      As far as I know NPS & EPF are two different investment options. EPF is mandatory for every employee whereas NPS is optional for corporate / private employees . PF provides lump sum amount post retirement whereas the main intention of NPS is to provide pension to the employee post retirement and till his /her death.

    I am retired three months ago. I have both products in my portfolio. The average returns in NPS is 10.5% and mutual funds is around 12.5% net of expenses
    More than choosing a scheme, I felt that O have not saved enough for retirement. Spend majority of funds to be saved retirement are spent on children's education in US. That's gone money. I should have asked them to take education loan instead of spending money intended for retirement
