Excellent video and tips! Thanks for your efforts in putting all this together. We are going to Madeira this September. Did you shoot any Milky Way/Astro near the coast lines/beach or was there too much cloud cover vs. the high altitudes? I know composition can be difficult sometimes at these places. Also did you feel safe in the remote places late at night for the astrophotography? Any tips regarding this?
Thank you very much! I believe I tried to see if there was visibility at Ponta De Sao Lourenco one night but there was cloud cover and too much light pollution anyways as all the major cities are in the south. Definitely never felt unsafe anywhere on the island.
the tailgating is because the speed limit is very low, and people is tired, not on vacation like tourist, they are not looking to enjoy the view, just want to get to their destination quickly. the only city is funchal, the largest towns are, camara de lobos and machico, the rest are tiny.
Great video man! Thanks for putting it all together! Very clear with the use of Google Maps etc!! Wondering which month of the year you visited. Could you please let me know? Thanks again!
I'm not sure that falls under the category of travel photography but perhaps for creative inspiration. From what I understand its all legal in Portugal so I don't see why Madeira would be exempt
Madeira its cool place get some great Nature photos

Is a 24mm-70mm sufficient as a lens for madeira?
Its a good midrange lens. 16-35mm tends to be my bread and butter but thats just my style
What about gettin pot on this island??

Tailgating is a Portuguese thing. It’s the same in the mainland. Lovely people but the moment they get behind the wheel they turn into maniacs. 😂
Ah makes sense lol
