Everyone is running dragon maid and trying to Parlor dragonmaid into Dragonmaid Tinkhec on my battle phase but I always get to play Loyal guan yun, play three visits, play graceful Zhou gong, activate effect of three visits search ingenious zhuge Kong, activate his ability to special then activate Zhou gong to negate parlor dragonmaid, special summon valiant Zhang de, begin battle phase attack with Zhang de then at start of damage step activate fearsome Zhang yuan in hand to lower opponents monsters atk by 1000 and special summon swing for game.... Absolutely disgusting deck

Leave it to the Yu-Gi-Oh community to find a way to ruin the state of the game even with card rarity restrictions. Now the event is basically the same thing as ranked (you go first and you're opponent doesn't get to play the game of yugioh)

Theyre a bit expensive unfortunetly. So theyre not vert f2p friendly. But what sort of deck list are you running fkr them in ranked? I would like to try to build it in the future!
@@somakun1806 do a couple of ritual summon to make ur ritual monster in gy, set up that llvl 2 megalith, then at the end of the enemy M1 activate that lvl 2 monster to ritual summon lvl 8 mega to pop at most 4 cards

I have started using this ancient warriors deck for the event and their is nothing your opponent can do when you get a good hand and get all the warriors out on the field apart from surrender I've had that happened twice awesome deck
oh that dumb inferno tempest deck the guy was playing. I ran into that too. The play is giving your opponent a 3K attack kaiju then run a zero-attack hippo into them to trip tempest, then using that one spell card that returns control of a monster to take the kaiju back so they'd hopefully have nothing but the cards in hand. It collapses into dirt if you have one decent monster and one removal spell in your hand when tempest goes off tho.
Already got all medals and rewards from this festival with random non meta deck. A LOT of meta player got weak because they cant use their SR/UR favorite card lmao. In the previous xyz festival I got so many hard fought matches just like in the ranked duel. In this festival many are soft bread lol. Even ballpark, monarchs, and monolith are managable
yesss i've been trying to make a deck with ancient warriors for this event because it's my main deck in ranked but can't really make a good recipe. my eyes light up when i saw this video on my recommendation lol
Would love to see you cover my beloved Time Thief deck. Id argue its almost as competitive as sky striker seeing as I’ve absolutely walked some of the best meta decks w it. Plus the cards all look so awesome lol
no the didn't, this even honestly sucks. and im not salty, i can easily win by using rituals (megaliths) or metalfoes. if you use any other eck, high chance u will lose.
@@EGS3586 so you prefer the meta the way it is with the same 5 decks winning or this one were there are tons of decks to play and they can all beat each other. And you can play megaliths and I can play janky decks and I'll still get all the same gems you get and I'll have fun doing it.
That's been my experience with it it bricks really hard if you draw all monsters are all spells you need a continuous in the monster to go off. Luckily I got some good hands and got all the gems from the event anyways
MBT did a great video on a competitive utopia deck for master duel. It was labeled as an "XYZ festival deck" but only because the deck was at full power during the event... Pretty expensive, but it shreds if it isn't interrupted too much.
@@ktorr9413 another good tech is use adamancipators or and other way to get 2 bodies on board Go into Geonator Transversor while you have Generaider Boss Stage out. Summon your choice of Generaider Boss to the spot Geonator points to. And bam you have a card effect destruction immune monster with a quick effect
I want to preface this by saying I play this game casually and am not great at the game just above average but this has been my experience. I made this deck and bricked 8 out of the 10 hands. Its absolutely horrible. You either draw monsters you need to tribute in order to summon or continuous spells which do nothing until you have the monsters needed to tribute them so you draw dead. It's literally one of the worse decks so far. Just go gadget from what I've seen. If you happen to draw hands like he is drawing sure you can make moves but you better not make 1 tiny mistake or you're done. Theres no room for error especially going against the megalith and F.A Metalfoes that are polluting the festival. As a new player who isn't very good at the game this festival is absolutely horrible. All the decks are so complicated its like having to do a physics problem to just combo one board and the simple decks like this are so inconsistent its not even fun to play. I'm quitting master duel. Its filled with nothing but D.D Dynamite bots and players who lock you out of playing the game from the first turn. The Yu-Gi-Oh community is one of the worst gaming communities I've played in in terms of players who play just to ruin others fun. It's a shame because the first 2 seasons were enjoyable now it's completely unplayable from a casual stand point. I've enjoyed your videos but I'm cutting my losses. Why play this game in the state its in? What's the point? They haven't added new cards in months.

I'm sure they'll fix that Bots with the DD Dynamite eventually they'll probably make a program to get rid of those people and ban them and if you thought this was confusing the decks in the festival or actually really slow and not complicated at all if you play on ladder it's even more complicated. I've been playing the game for the beginning but I've never played a combo deck I just stick to simple control text because I have memory issues and I can't remember a 30 step combo. Yu-Gi-Oh is fun if you stick with it but it's Community is kind of bad unless you find a specific Discord group for the people are friendly

Ancient Warriors is definitely a rogue deck and very powerful even by itself with no engine I play one myself for Ranked too 👌

this event is great... I just keep put against so many unique decks... All matches but one so far have been unique
All I see are Megaliths, Hippos, and Timelord-Kaiju.

I've been finding success with a super janky sky striker tri-brigade deck, been alot of fun.
