My absent parent owes me almost 47000 and because she resides in another state and it's working , they can't catch her. Florida always giving me an excuse, they are lazy in enforcing child support and I don't know what to do. If you can help, that would be good because I'm tired of all the florida excuses. Look up my case and you will see that I'm better off on doing their job than they are. Thanks

Consider contacting the department of revenue in the state where your ex resides. Maybe they can provide some assistance in locating her. Sorry to hear about your situation.

The DOR has a lot of mechanisms for enforcement, but sometimes you may need to ask them to set your case for a hearing and tell them the situation. There are no guarantees, but sitting before a hearing officer may help your situation. @@GelPrint-FL

@@JacobsFamilyLawFirm I did. We went to court a 3rd time and the state didn't file any motions to compel. Now with zoom, the hearings are a joke. The judge didn't ask about why he owes so much or divide the arrears over the months left, until age 18 (there is already orders for previous arrears). He uses a friend to make a "garnished" from employer payment, which resets the states computer. I have screen shots where the state admits it is all on a computer and they don't manually do anything. He hasn't filed taxes in over 10 years. He should be ordered to not miss a payment. I thought about anonymously sending in what all he said about the judge with stuff redacted. Maybe if they knew the way they are mimicked they might have more integrity to uphold the statutes both state and Federal. I was advised yesterday to file a motion to vacate on the recent hearing after the judge signs it.

Florida does absolutely Nothing to these fathers who don't pay. I have a Court order for Support my case is linked with the DOR and some how he continues to fly under the radar. He goes months without paying they threaten to suspended license and he makes one payment and then goes back to not paying it bc he knows it will take 6 months again to get a notice of license suspension. This has been going on for over 14yrs. You call for help they are so lazy on the phone you get absolutely Noo information about your case bc you gotta wait for a damn computer to generate letters about your case. Florida Child support services are a damn joke!!!!!

@@brooklynballer5178 I got out of an abusive relationship back in Nov I applied for child support through the Dept of Revenue in Dec he went to live with his mom so I knew the address and provided that info to them he was served in Jan and here I'm in May and still haven't received my first payment they told me they sent a notice to his employer to start garnishment of his wages well it's been a month since that and to make things even more ridiculous his mom is the supervisor at where he works so I'm guessing since she is supervisor the child support letter sent to them to garnish his wages probably went in the trash . I don't know what to do next this guy has no relationship with his child no time sharing no child support and enabled by his mommy
