5 ? By my count 6 . Reminds me of when I was in ag college many many years ago and we were sent to look at a field of 27 heifers and told that one was sick and to come back and tell them which one it was, I went up and counted 26 so went looking for the sick one because they were all fine, went back eventually and told the lecturer that the 26 I saw were fine but I couldn’t find the 27th anywhere he said grand and told me to say nothing and go back to work. That evening he called us together and I expected a rollicking but he just said to me and another guy we could go and proceeded to give the rest of the group a rollicking because none of them realised that there was only 26 in the field, he didn’t catch me out but still thought me a lesson, regards from Ireland.
❤ loved the video Charlotte, I think the sheep 🐑 were more excited than the Jersey's 😅 hope Roy's dad is OK xx And what's this Roy and the pigs having a bromance does Joe know 😂😂 ❤
I watched while at work as you unloaded the lambs to new pasture I explained to my workmates that farmers appreciate seeing such great backend's I got some really funny looks I can tell you 😂
Hi Charlotte, you are obviously in a good place and the farm is ticking over as it should. A great collection of different areas of your farm with the cowes, sheep and pigs. I missed seeing incky and where is chook? Thanks for your content. Chris - Victoria Australia 🇦🇺.
You just made my weekend thanks for sharing your video with us. Looks like you need to put your feet as you look tired. Those pigs are nice and friendly not like the other two. Just lucky they didn’t get out 😂😂
Thank you for another great video, is Roy the Pied Piper, or does he know the secret phrase for pigs? Because we all know Bahram you from babe the talking pig. 😂😊
You are doing great with the cows but, I hate to criticize, however, your cows could to be cleaner. You need much more shavings in the free stalls with a heavy layer up towards the front and twice a day someone goes through with a rake and pulls all wet shavings (milk, urine, manure) into aisle and replace it with a light layer of dry raked back from up front. Takes a little extra time and a little extra bedding but you will have much cleaner cows and udders. Keeps cell count down preventing mastitis. Also when you scrape be sure to get all manure away from the stall curbs so less gets tracked in. Love the Jerseys. Keep up the good work.
Well funny you should say that as you know I video everything and I was using copious amounts of shavings and the mattress manufacturer actually rang me and told me “holy hell Charlotte stop using so much shavings you only need a sprinkling to absorb the wet the mattresses are that good the a shavings aren’t needed for comfort” in those words
So Charlotte😂, just about 1.06 minutes into this video you are saying you and Roy are having a ........ debate...now all I heard is something naught .... 🙈
Loving your content and your Jerseys but please wear gloves when pulling ragweed. The juice in the stems is toxic to humans as well as animals. Safety first.
If not wearing gloves when pulling ONE ragwort stem is the biggest health and safety problem I have when posting farming on TH-cam mate I am WINNING at life the absolute shocking things I’m seeing posted online
Excellent video Charlotte - always an enjoyable watch!
Great video as ever my lovely, loving the lambs even the scraggy little one, Take care. Witchy
