  • Join us for an insightful interview with Stanislav Zimin, a 45-year-old lawyer and current deputy in Khabarovsk, as he shares his perspectives on the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. In this candid conversation, Zimin discusses his anti-war stance, the recent decision by the US and Western countries to allow Ukraine to use weapons on Russian territory, and his thoughts on Europe's role and mistakes in the conflict.
Zimin also addresses the inaction of NATO countries when the war began on February 24, 2022, his personal disdain for Putin, and the repercussions he has faced from law enforcement due to his anti-war position. Most importantly, he provides a bold prediction about an inevitable revolution in Russia, explaining how and when he believes this change will occur.
Don't miss this powerful and thought-provoking interview that delves into the heart of Russia's political climate amidst the war.

He is 100% right, though, about Russia being like the Roman Empire. It's completely true. This may sound like ancient history, but after Constantinople was captured by the Turks in 1453, the Romans scattered. They didn't disappear. The leadership and the people migrated to Greece, Ukraine, and Russia. Look at Russian culture. Bath houses, Moscow being the center of the Russian world (Rome), and the people basically slaves to the establishment. The West is fighting the Roman Empire who found some guns and tanks.

Despite all the glue-eaters maligning Speaker Johnson & President Trump, *none* of the Western so-called "leadership" has covered themselves in glory for the past two decades.
For example, while America's current Minor Attracted President has the blood of thousands of Ukrainian heroes on his palsied hands for slow-walking the aid owed Ukraine under the Budapest Memorandum (as well as essentially supporting BRICS aid to Russia rather than enforcing the sanctions), President Bush ought to have responded far more sharply to Putin-khuylo's "first act" with his Spetsnaz invading Georgia pretending to be "separatists".

Thx. This guy knows his stuff. As to the “how” question…he was trying to describe “mass action” where the entire population participates against govt officials. Was applied in za to accelerate end of apartheid. Probably it was coined in the USSR. How all roads lead to “Rome” eventually.

He is very well informed for a Russian.
If Russia remains in its own territory and stops trying to invade other countries, there would be no war, no sanctions and no isolation.
The West just wants a peaceful world without wars and conflict, Russia wants the opposite so the best solution is to separate the two as much as possible and try to help the victims of Russian aggression.

@andyhurrell It's stunning to realize how much better off Putin-khuylo would have left Russia if he'd merely made a 100-year lease agreement with Ukraine for Sevastopol, and demanded that as part of the deal the Crimea government would actually have a role in decision-making.
Instead, he decided he could have the whole enchilada, and will hopefully soon suffer the fate of Mussolini for his decision.
