Zimin also addresses the inaction of NATO countries when the war began on February 24, 2022, his personal disdain for Putin, and the repercussions he has faced from law enforcement due to his anti-war position. Stanislav "balls of steel" Zimin, congrats for telling the truth
What a hero !! I am speechless ......amazing man . Extremely intelligent .
A righteous man. Ruzzia needs more of his kind to speak out
Its not about speaking out, its about them getting organized...
This guy’s a genius & has balls of steel
Agree totaly
Wow! This gentleman is really well spoken and clear thinking.
Its people like this man who will be remembered for speaking up against such a dangerous regime
What do you know? A reasonable Russian who knows what is going on and who has a strong moral backbone! I'm surprised he's not in jail.
I don't want people like him harmed. Russia needs people like him. Desperately!
Russia is a great country. Unfortunately it’s been ERY BADLY governed. From the Tsars, to Lenin, Stalin …. and now Putin
@@williamwalker3837
Meh. How a country is lead, which encompasses all government institutions, procedures and laws, is 95% of what makes a country great.
Russia completely fails that in my book. Would never want to live there.
@@a5cent I would argue the people are victims of generational conditioning by brutal regimes. It’s not a straightforward as you suggest.
That said, I would not like to live their either. It’s a brutal society. If you read any of Yuri Felshtinsky’s books, you’ll understand what I mean
@@williamwalker3837
Absolutely. They are victims. Nobody hates Russians more than their own government.
My point is this:
All of that points to Russia NOT being a great country.
sounded like he had been 'locked up' a few times on relatively minor charges of organizing protests and the like. He seems to be visited by Police and Secret Service types... so he is well known to the current authorities.
I suspect that he will have to keep his head down for health reasons, like he's playing with fire. Good luck to him and I hope he comes out the other side of Putin's downfall.
Keep away from windows in multi story buildings brave man.
putins murder mafia will find a way to push him even in a cellar out of a window.
And do not drink tea served by Poo-tin’s minions❗️
This kind of guy is a dream of American politicians. A traitor under his rule Russia would collapse. I hope He gets arrested for treason
That goes for air travel too 😳
My exact thoughts too!
A clever and dignified man who speaks with honesty.
I am lost in admiration for this brave man - so lucid and articulate. Any sane country would value him rather than suppress him.
He loves his country deeply.
Lol. Yes like US and UK value assange and don't suppress him
It needs some guts to speak out that way in Russia. Respect for you, Mr Zimin, you are what I once hoped Russia would become... but sadly didn't, and instead went back to its worn-out autocratic BS.
100 voices are ignored, 1000 voices are a protest, but 10.000.000 voices in harmony can bring down a government.
Then you got your work cut out for you in the waste
People with decency, brains and guts are rare -- especially in Russia.
No, I believe they are silent to not be punished.
@JohanLofgren-jc4mh very true. It does take extraordinary courage to speak as he does about such an oppressive regime as he is living under
Nonsense. I have a Russian friend with Genius level IQ. She's compassionate and very friendly. Russia is a country, like any, made up of humans. Good and bad exist in equal amounts, it's YOUR moral compass that dictates what side you see someone as.
The most intelligent Russian I ever heard speaking about the present Russian mafia.
Everything he says is correct while he thinks and speak so fast that I couldn't keep up with subtitles on default speed. Very intelligent man!
The Russian Jewish Mafia
@@bob-g3e3x And here we go again! You should visit Putin's military cathedral, there are Hitler's relics!
Brave man, but also very very dangerous to talk free like this.
It’s refreshing to see there’s still a shred of sanity left in Russia . God protect this brave man .
Is it though, did we watch the same video?
@@ja37d-34 i don't understand russian but this sure looks like a whole lot of sarcasm ^^
@@robertgross9518 My guess is that it's "deniable" sarcasm, so if - rather, *when* the FSB drags him to some basement, he can swear he really *does* admire Bunker Grandpa's strategic & political prowess in changing the political climate for neutral countries bordering Russia.
It's hard for even Maoists to convict someone for being too sarcastic.
Have you ever spent significant time in Russia?
@@robertgross9518 He still seems like a Russian nationalist. In a bad way. he is just different from Putin. he is hardly a good guy.
Hearing and seeing this man makes me realize that there is still hope for Russians and all other Ethnicities that live in the Russian Federation.
He is 100% right, though, about Russia being like the Roman Empire. It's completely true. This may sound like ancient history, but after Constantinople was captured by the Turks in 1453, the Romans scattered. They didn't disappear. The leadership and the people migrated to Greece, Ukraine, and Russia. Look at Russian culture. Bath houses, Moscow being the center of the Russian world (Rome), and the people basically slaves to the establishment. The West is fighting the Roman Empire who found some guns and tanks.
Zimin is an exceptionally courageous man, I hope he survives and somehow regains a leadership role. He and people like him are the best hope for a re-born Russia.
Wow he was an interesting one and in many ways. Your best yet.
I admire of a man with a BIG BALLS like him. my hats off to him.
A sincere, far-sighted and courageous man. I share both his statements about Putin and the current Russian mafia regime, as well as his criticism of the West's indecisive response from the annexation of Crimea in 2014 to the beginning of Putin's attempted open robbery of the whole of Ukraine in February 2022. We desperately need more politicians like him, both in Russia and in the West.
Despite all the glue-eaters maligning Speaker Johnson & President Trump, *none* of the Western so-called "leadership" has covered themselves in glory for the past two decades.
For example, while America's current Minor Attracted President has the blood of thousands of Ukrainian heroes on his palsied hands for slow-walking the aid owed Ukraine under the Budapest Memorandum (as well as essentially supporting BRICS aid to Russia rather than enforcing the sanctions), President Bush ought to have responded far more sharply to Putin-khuylo's "first act" with his Spetsnaz invading Georgia pretending to be "separatists".
🤣🤣 actually your comment is hilarious lol... dude.. 2 years later you still saying these bs? lol.. get a fkn brain... wake up !!!
He's also not ancient like most of our politicians.

Truly the first Russian politician worthy of respect and encouragement. Brave man 👀🇬🇧
Wow. My hat is off to this true patriot. Not since Daniil’s 1420 street interview -with the grandmother calling Russians citizens under Putin “slaves”- have I seen as candid an interview with someone *inside* Russia. Massive respect.
Is this man still alive? What a great noble brave russian man he is. Much respect!
It's only been 18 hours. Wait a week.
What happened
"I have nothing to lose but my chains." Beautiful!
respect to this brilliant man.
Very inpressed with this man. We all need this bravery in our respective countries.
brave, intelligent and provocative
If a Russian can listen to this and not come to their senses, is hopeless
Unfortunately having your life threatened for even thinking 'the wrong things', is very effective in preventing just that. Unless you reach a point of "they can't take more from me than they already did", like this brave soul here. The less brave victims often develop a co-dependency. Just like the Stockholm syndrome: "Hostages sometimes develop a psychological bond with their captors. It is supposed to result from a rather specific set of circumstances, namely the power imbalances contained in hostage-taking, kidnapping, and abusive relationships."
Such a brave man I wouldn't have this courage.
Fantastic This video needs to be watched worldwide, come on Russians do something about your government!
A brave man. Let's pray for him, it is no joke to speak freely and loudly like this where he is...
Great man! Speaks the truth. Unfortunately, he has just reduced his life expectancy by around 40 years!
The sad thing is that people like him are not allowed to reach far, because he speaks and thinks independently from the norm
Fantastically brave man.Stay safe and spread the gospel🏴
He's right. Europe and the US did almost nothing in 2014. They should have taken stronger action. They contributed, although I am convinced they did not want to, to the outbreak of the conflict in Ukraine by their passivity.
Absolutely true
agreed
It wasn't just 2014. I despise the American Democrat Party *far* more than I do the GOP, because they've never been serious about the Budapest Memorandum's terms, but one could lay at least some of the blame at the feet of Bush for not doing much of anything about the invasion of Georgia.
West was then busy destroying Syria
You said it. So far removed NATO’s intention in Ukraine and little interested in expansionism that in 2014 it did nothing in particular. I find it cheap to lay any blame on NATO. It is doing its job which is one of defense.
Its good youve found this man again. I wish him safety and success. I recognize him from your previous videos.
i hope he is still alive..
and, most importantly, remains alive...
He won’t live long , for sure.
Stanislav has more balls than all of the dithering seat-warmers of the EU and NATO added together. A Russian Hero.
The man is spitting fire
What a brave man! ❤
Wow, what a true Russia patriot. Putin will soon serve him tea, put him in prison, or help him out of a window. He is a true hero of Russia, he speaks truth to power! Slava Ukraini1
Heroyam Slava!
My man, you are missing a point here. The dude openly supports occupation of Ukrainian territories such as Crimea.
A lot of them are intelligent and brave and hate Putin. But it doesn't make them better than Putin. There are a lot of them have the same fascist imperial mentality as their current Kremlin leader. There are a lot of them that want to keep conquering other countries' territories, but they want to do it more efficiently than Putin and with less corruption. And I don't think the dude from the video is any better.
@@Espesia1 If I am wrong, I apologize. From the video, it appears that he opposes Putin, that is where my impression comes from. Thanks for your clarification!

Thx. This guy knows his stuff. As to the “how” question…he was trying to describe “mass action” where the entire population participates against govt officials. Was applied in za to accelerate end of apartheid. Probably it was coined in the USSR. How all roads lead to “Rome” eventually.
He is very well informed for a Russian.
If Russia remains in its own territory and stops trying to invade other countries, there would be no war, no sanctions and no isolation.
The West just wants a peaceful world without wars and conflict, Russia wants the opposite so the best solution is to separate the two as much as possible and try to help the victims of Russian aggression.
@andyhurrell It's stunning to realize how much better off Putin-khuylo would have left Russia if he'd merely made a 100-year lease agreement with Ukraine for Sevastopol, and demanded that as part of the deal the Crimea government would actually have a role in decision-making.
Instead, he decided he could have the whole enchilada, and will hopefully soon suffer the fate of Mussolini for his decision.
