Another Brilliant and wonderful "Video Vlog" from my brother the great Drone operator Julian of "Jamaica"! / "Drone View" there's none to match you in my book! So there for thank you for this, Birdseye view motion picture Vlog!!!😎👍🌎🛣🎥🎞
Great job my brother. It seem like this portion of Melrose bypass is ready as you pointed out and that is great news. Thanks for these updates. I am way overseas, but because of your videos, I can see what's going on in these highway constructions in my country and I really appreciate it. Much thanks.
Another great video, your smooth drone flying is always impressive!!! Guardrails vs concrete barriers over the bridge overpass does not look safe at all.
Awesome update, DVJa. It seems as if in a few weeks to a month, both sections of Melrose will be open to the public. I can't wait for the videos on Toll Gate and further up Melrose bypass.
Road looks beautiful ,should cut travel time ,question i see there are no street lights on this highway . Ps thank you for this video ,plz go ahead n do north, south highway coverage.
I am confused as to where the roads are going. I don't even know where to start to ask questions. I will just wait for your next video. Your video is good as those before. Never stop.
Great detail coverage , wonderful to see these updates..I believe that the motoway will be given priority at the merger of traffic from Porus.i believe that traffic from Porus will have to stop and give way to traffic from the motoway.
Hey Droneviewja another great coverage of melrose hill. Regarding your question about North South Hgwy pls do, I’m sure a lot of your subscribers will agree.
"Aerial Perfection" indeed Drone View Ja! I'm also concerned about the way the traffic merges. Picture two vehicles racing up from Porus, holding both lanes - up to the point of the merger. Coming up the Toll Road are two other vehicles who have been traveling steadily at 110 km/hr for a long period. So, four drivers must, in a matter of seconds, decide who is yielding as only two are able to be side by side beyond that point. 🤔
Great video they should relocate the yam park to the west end of the split (17:43)in the video then it would be easily accessible to both sides of traffic
At 5:42 in the video I hope a reconfiguration is in the works. That merge looks like a disaster waiting to happen. I know it has already been mentioned by others in an earlier video you uploaded. Most Jamaicans will not yield for that merge, they are just going to drive out in the on-coming traffic.
I think there will be stop stop road markings to traffic from Porus , and will have to wait for a gap in the traffic from the motoway toward Williams field
DV, if what you say "The merging of the H'way lanes into one and the two oncoming from Porus merging into one and finally merging together at the present point is correct. It is not the best idea. A better solution is to merge Melrose oncoming lanes into one lane immediately from the underpass and realign more to the right or before the underpass. Merging further ahead with the H'way lanes, creating a more smoother traffic flow. The merging of the two traffics should be done with the H'Way traffic having priority without impedance. With a greater merging distance of travel, the Melrose traffic will merge with the H'way traffic much safer. We must always take people driving attitude into account.
On that merge coming up from Porus is really dangerous a lot if drivers is not going to Yield to driver coming from Kingston they have to put a contril light a that intersection and also they should put an exit to get off to Porus too tgey aint going any tolls
Honestly I am impressed with these modern highways for Jamaica I would like to see Jamaica cut up in highways that reduce travel time and gas the next I would love to see the Chinese get a chance to do our rails and trains to give tourists and sinceneric view of Jamaica plus more love the look
The road is beautiful but the intersection with the existing Melrose bypass is the elephant in the room. What were they thinking by splitting the highway there? One overpass could have solved everything, but now you have 2 lane merging into a 2 lane toll road at a steep angle and at that its the fast lane of the toll road. who is calling the shot and when are they going to work on a solution to meet the opening deadline?
Now, the Chinese can teach Jamaicans how to convert those hilly terrains into Terrace farms. It would be sad to see such prime land continue going unused.
Major road projects are excellent for the country but make sure we consider using smaller construction companies (local) to be a part of these projects. Share the opportunities and we will all benefit in the long run.
They did it on the St.Thomas Highway, it's a mess where some of the local contractors where responsible for, they did little or no work and it's there county.
Not interested in seeing the north south highway, it's a completed road that I've seen many videos on. I would love to see what's happening with the Montego Bay perimeter road.
Unfortunately!!! There won't be no individuals to utilized these fancy roads construction and other so-called improvements in Jamaica America brazil and the western-world. Soon the western-world will be void of all humans. Get ready [ YAHAWASHY HAMASHAYACH ] is coming. ( read: Isaiah13v6-16 )
I still don't like that section where the traffic merge ⛜ (14:45) whether or not the lanes are marked. I believe they could have done a better job, besides that I really appreciate the work they have done so far.
Big up the Government of Jamaica 🇯🇲 nuff respect .
Yes , I love the work I'm seeing, we are looking at a new Jamaica. I would appreciate you give us the North South High way.
Watching from Barbados🇧🇧
Hey bro, thanks
Looking good

Thanks Rupert, comments like this is what keeps me wanting drive miles to capture these footage.
The new road is calling my name. now all that is missing are the street lights. The greenery gets me every time👍.
11:57 Yes I would love to see some coverage of the north to south highway 🛣 😀
EVERYTHING HAS HAS BEEN DONE RIGHT ON THIS DEVELOPMENT LOOKING VERY GOOD 👍

Happy Father's to you too, it's my Father's day special.
This video really shows the big picture. I was a little confused before. Excellent!
Glad it was helpful!
GREAT VIDEOS AS ALWAYS
I appreciate that
Yes, north to south highway coverage would be great
There are so many North South highway videos?
Great detail coverage , wonderful to see these updates..I believe that the motoway will be given priority at the merger of traffic from Porus.i believe that traffic from Porus will have to stop and give way to traffic from the motoway.
I am just waiting patiently to see 👀 what's going happen.
I would like you to do a video driving on this road, that would be very nice.
You can , but imagine it when the lines are marked and the section to Williamsfield is finished.
Thanks for the update
No problem 👍
Nice video bro
Thanks
Sure I would definitely love to see that new freeway-/-HIGHWAY

Accident waiting to happen 😕
Great video they should relocate the yam park to the west end of the split (17:43)in the video then it would be easily accessible to both sides of traffic
Also they can have yam Parks on both sides of the road. That way traffic won't have to cross over.
Thanks for your updates, love them
Thanks for your support .
I know you would do something for us. Thank you.
I had two videos but you would enjoy this one lol.

I know that for sure, they will be coming up Melrose at 120 km/h to attempt that merge.
I think there will be stop stop road markings to traffic from Porus , and will have to wait for a gap in the traffic from the motoway toward Williams field
Wow !❤

True True
Well said, do you realize that they had to put cones to ensure that they are no collision.
We need to wait for the road markings .I believe that traffic from Porus will have to stop due to road arkings
We need you in mobay bro
Soon, I see that you appreciate my work.
@Drone View Ja yeah bro..remember that mobay part start but am not getting anything from our side like this
NEW GUARD RAILS? Did the road have old rails?
❤🎉
On that merge coming up from Porus is really dangerous a lot if drivers is not going to Yield to driver coming from Kingston they have to put a contril light a that intersection and also they should put an exit to get off to Porus too tgey aint going any tolls

I love this comment, A train tour why not.

Based on what I am seeing one should be able to see the cars coming from the toll side so you just give way like normally
I'm assuming they'll have an Island at the intersection, with arrows to merge from two lanes to one.
At 15:00 minutes mark, they need to ma ke that section wider for the merging, then p etered out to 2 lanes
It sure is.
How do you get on the toll from Porus or the reverse???
You would have to go up to Melrose and turn and come back down , ridiculous right.
@@droneviewja very ridiculous👿👎
U will have to drive to Toll Gate to access it, or to Williamsfield. Ridiculous indeed.
Now, they just need to plant some palm 🌴 trees on both sides of the highway 🛣
Is there a on ramp coming from Porus to May Pen?
No, you will have to travel up to Williamsfield and back to enter the Toll road if you are going to May Pen.
North South YES. But careful with the drone
For sure, we don't want to miss a beat again my friend.
DV JA I would like to see the developments between Ocho Rios and MoBay. I heard a lot of Residentiql Dev happening there
This is true. Especially Drax Hall
I will take a trip up North and see what I can capture.
Will there be an exit at Toll Gate coming from Melrose/Williams Field?
Yes, Toll has an exit and entrance to the highway
Now, the Chinese can teach Jamaicans how to convert those hilly terrains into Terrace farms. It would be sad to see such prime land continue going unused.
Doesn't look too strong to me. I hope this highway doesn't fail.

I understand they are going to start on that road when the May Pen to Williamstead road project is done.
@@the-development-scribbler okay, thanks for that info
Im concerned about the "lay by" not being paved. Are motorists supposed to pull off rhe road in the dirt/mudddd?
It's not finished that the reason it looks that way, the road is just temporarily paved to reduce dust .
@@droneviewja Hopefully it will be completed!
It's more of a T-junction than a merger bro. I'm so trying to figure out how this will be safe for such a highway of this magnitude.
Me too but only time will tell.
@@droneviewja indeed bro
North South not necessary.. More St. Thomas.
I have St. Thomas videos coming this week brother, will never stop highlight St.Thomas.
Are they putting up street signs?
Yes,
