My favorite working storage are the plastic bottles in the zippered cases. I have the two 30 & two 60 bottle cases. I have bought so many other types but for working on a dp this is my go to. For long term storage of extra drills I use either the Darice storage & the photo box system I learned from 4kidsat147. Thanks for sharing your ideas & favorites.
For those allergic to dryer sheets use baby wipes 1. It's cleans your drills of germs. 2. It works like dryer sheet once drys when I pour out my drills to kit up i place a baby wipe in my head tray and pour beads on pat down then put in containers
Awesome tips for using the different storage systems. The one for Darice is especially helpful to me 😊 My favorite system is the Craftmates Lockables. They are just so convenient and look well organized with them being in a book 😁 Thank you so much for sharing 🤗
To get any stickers, labels, tape, etc. off of anything I use Un-du. It was originally marketed for scrapbookers. It's awesome. It will actually take duct tape off of toilet paper without tearing the toilet paper. (True story. I didn't believe it, either until I tried it.) I use the stuff for everything that is a dry adhesive, not a wet glue.
I love all my storage, all 12 different kinds of them and yet, I still want more! Lol! I love to kit up and never know what mood I may be in so I like having many kitted up to choose from! I have already liked your story for pretty neat creative and I am backing you all the way hun!💖💖
I use the little 28 container system for smaller paintings and for larger paintings I use my harbor freight containers. I just purchased in June 2 lockable mate containers for even bigger paintings and I love all 3 of these container system's. I personally just label mine by just putting the numbers on like 1,2,3, and so on so I don't have to worry about changing stickers or making labels none of that. If for some reason they are not numbered on the canvas I take a pen and write it right on the canvas so that way I can still use my number system. I hope anyone that reads this understands what I am talking about lol.
I was just wondering if anyone has thought of using nail polish wall racks to store the clear bottles they put the drills in. The racks come in all shapes and sizes and materials and some are very pretty. And they are the perfect size to hold the screw top bottles that people are storing in boxes. I just thought it would be a cute addition to a craft room or diamond painting area.
A couple of tips I’ll take away with me. One is the alcohol. The sticky has been getting on my nerves, but I didn’t want to use goo gone. The other is your Harbor Freight tip. I have a painting kitted up with HF to take on my road trip starting the 27th.
For my leftover drills I put each color into a small bag and then I put all those bags into a bag with the kit name. I've been using the lansinoh bags for breastmilk storage because I had some left over. They're tall and roomy have a space for labeling. When I started using them, I figured I may as well use them up since you can't donate them if the box is open but now I'm almost out and I'm kind of sad because they're perfect. I keep all those bags in a small tote but I've bought quite a few different ABs and special drills so now I'm working on a tube system like beads come in. I don't like the binder, it's not for me.
Sadly can't get Harbour freights in Australia. Now I do have a couple of items I use. I use CraftMates, Locking stackables, I just got some of those cute little condiment containers, I have others coming too. Once you start diamond painting you figure which system works for you. The craftmates work for the bigger canvases. Also use a generic storage like derice but not Derice. Thank you so much for sharing Jen.
I want to know how can I get the storage container case that in your stashing Monday video the storage case was called lockables where do I get them please comment and give me the online store I hope they deliver to Australia 🇦🇺 LOL FROM KATE LAST

I didn’t know about the unstoppables. I will have to try that the next time I have staticky drills.

Goo gone also works for getting the sticker residue off the containers

You can never have enough storage! I keep buying new ways of storage even though I found a system that works great already 😂
Amen!
They have 3-ring binders that completely zip shut! There for even if you pick ⛏️ it up wrong they will stay in the folder
Awesome tip! Thx for sharing
Regarding the binder, I've seen here in Australia Binders with zippers around the cover so that may stop the drill baggies falling out...
ooo that sounds like a great find.
