I found if you Turn your tray around so the two fitting attached to the box rather than three. That then gives you three on the outside two for the legs and one for the brolly. Saves taking the arm and tray is super strong

I got t admit, that whole set up look the dog's nuts. You know exactly what I'd get my grubby little mitts on if I could. I said I'm a bit of a fan of Matrix gear. And these past few videos only go to bolster that up. Obviously a man of taste, you've got very high in my estimation now. You never were that low either. Well done Ben. Another top video.

Another great video Ben,might have to invest in a bait brolly as I to hate having a brolly over me getting in the way.

The black insert is 22mm and is the one to use for the brolly to get a secure grip. The brolly is excellent and better than hooded trays in my opinion. Not sure how you will use the roost you got with the brolly in position.

Hi Ben great video as always, first of all the matrix seatbox does look good, but i am slightly concerned with the attachments and how they would work IRL .. the tray looks to have and extended arm by a few inches, this could be due to the clip on/off arrangement but it appears to push the tray away from the seatbox, i only have short arms so this wouldnt work for me tbh trying to reach the back of the tray, the preston trays literally snap on virtually up against the leg so there are no large gaps, im also not in favour of that large brolly it leaves the sides open to the elements and plus its a very long reach if you need to adjust it or infact you will have to leave the seatbox itself especially if you have the top kit roost as well, im still in favour of the preston venta-lite hoodie, yes i know it sometimes lets in rain in the worst of conditions but i spray mine with a good water repellant spray which seems to do the job and the sides do still offer a little protection. i would be interesed to see you on the box on the bank with pole etc to see if it is comfortable fishing for you.. i do hope it is.. take care keep the vids coming ... tight lines..

Do you think the support arm would be long enough for a Preston absolute box with a venta-lite XL side tray
    Is the arm long enough?

Loving the videos Ben and the new Matrix gear too, Just a quick question does having the brolly up with the arm in the middle of the tray interfere with the top kit roost and getting access to the top kits????

Yes it does! Ill properly move to the right it will still have plenty of coverage

What size tray are you using for this video? Is it the standard size or the extra large? Great video by the way & looks a great bit of kit. It may seem a bit expensive, but at least it is waterproof, unlike the other covers on most side trays!! Keep these great videos coming & tight lines 👍

Do you think that the broolly arm would still fit if you had the XL verwsion of the side tray?

Hi Ben, a question for you. I have a map 501 which i bought 3 yrs ago, 2g, I find at 14.5 meters its a bit heavy with a dodgey shoulder but manageable. I was thinking of upgrading to a Daiwa tornament pro x, do you think with your experience of using different poles i will find a significant difference in weight at 14.5 metres. Its a £2600 gamble ! cheers and keep em coming.
