That’s what I call fishing 🎣 Rob excellent video as usual 👍well explained as usual making it look easy 👍 hopefully more to come 👍
Great video Rob as always
Glad you said it was your favorite river rob as i live 10 mins away from it
Great video, thanks for sharing 👌
That peg really does seem amazing, I think a national was won from there and James Robbins commends it greatly
A very special swim that most will never be able to fish.
Interesting! Thx!
I fished it myself Rob it’s absolutely amazing peg❤
Yeah nice 👍
Peg 1 East Stoke?
Hi Rob I'm very new to fishing. Can u use this method all Yr round winter for barbel.
Any tips at all plz
V cool vid Rob 😊where abouts on middle Trent 🤔
Is East Stoke a Nottingham Piscatorial stretch?
Which stretch is this please and is it membership or day ticket
The club offers members stretches and day ticket stretches .... its the notts piscatorial water Near East Stoke
What knot do you use above feeder ?
A double overhand loop knot .... I basically ties the same knot but twice... 5-10mm away from each other
It's helps when you are given access to a well known hotspot peg on the Trent. Normally 100lb plus in matches from there. Hardly a honest reflection of fishing the Trent.
Is that the easiest river for barbel in UK?
That particular peg is very good ..... I bet the wye has some swims very similar
Why not use the clutch mate
Why would you do that when you can risk breaking you finger or the handle on the reel 😂 i just don't get the back winde
Why not braid Rob?
Probably because he doesn’t need the extra sensitivity for bites that braid offers and it has no stretch when playing larger fish
collingham weir 1a is miles better Rob. 4 of my mates had 152 fish 2 weeks ago with 101 over 10lb
Fished that peg in a match before a few years ago. Won the match with 135lb. It was like hook a duck. Its not the best barbel peg on the middle trent though rob there's better pegs on the trent
Brilliant Rob, Great to see some proper fishing
