Those survivors in the first game made so many mistakes especially Doctor omg im mad, she might have kited great but those mistakes she made are so freaking annoying, others made mistakes as well.

Just as much as you can hit through a window if the survivors are close enough you can hit there because the survivor walked so close to the opening between him and the hunter. Every hunter has a different hitbox and just because Robbie can hit there doesn't mean it's broken?? You can even hit through some chairs you know.

The doc actually toyed with the hunter, most high rankers do that. If’s basically a harassing mode to kite the hunter wich is super effective you let the hunter hit you so he will feel like ge can get you down then you will kite him while the ciper rush is going on. It’s riskh but in high rank things change

Thats what happens when everyone immediately starts decoding and not waste time. They all know how to kite so they're not afraid of decoding at certain spots.

You should not forget the fact that the hunter are also a pro Player too
