When I was listening to the timesuck about Ed Gein, I was eating at McDonald's which is even more disgusting, when you were talking about what was found in Ed gein's Death House. I had to pause and listen later which I did. Here is an interesting coincidence in the adaptation of the Ed Gein story. A while ago, you did the podcast about Charles Manson and his involvement with the tate-labianca murders in 1969, of course you know there was a made-for-tv movie called Helter Skelter, which starred Steve Railsback. He was in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, in Helter Skelter as Charles Manson, and finally played Ed Gein in Ed Gein. For me that is one hell of a coincidence, or it was deliberate. As a Southerner, I'm slightly offended that every character voice attributed to a moron or rube you do is with a presumably southern accent lol. We're used to it. When people hear a drawl, they automatically deduct 30 IQ points. This is easy to use to one's advantage. Who is actually the ignorant one here? So glad I found this channel, shit is great!! Already recommended to friends.
Reminds me of my mother.....she would always turn down her nose when Carol Burnett did the sketch with the southern family.....she said that it perpetuated the stereotype of southerners as uneducated and unsophisticated.
I have to commend you on your podcast on Edward. But Ed Gein was not a cannibal nor a necrophiliac. Ed was tragically in love with his mother. He had no one he could converse with except his brother Henry who started to hate their mother over time. Ed's world revolved around Augusta he would always protect her. That was how much he loved her. Both of them were made for eachother. I am a woman who had studied his case and it is so heartbreaking. I cant help but place the fact that your mother seriously has some interesting thoughts as Augusta herself! that is soo creepy is your mother reborn from Augusta Gein?!

Especially after seeing the movies that is inspired or based on his life, documentaries and such
Ed had numerous people to talk to, neighbor and friends. He went to their houses, and a number of them came to his. He showed his house to a number of people when he talked about wanting to sell it. And tho the popular versions deny it, Ed also dated (more than 1 woman) after his mother passed. He loved his mother, but he was not in love with her.
That was a joke. His mother didn't say those things. You heard his podcast but you didn't listen to it. He even states it's a joke and that Ed wasn't a cannibal or necrophiliac in this video. Several times in fact.
On the subject of taking IQ tests, I had one done by a psychologist when I was about 12. The guy said that he wasn't going to tell me what I got though, because people tend to obsess about a number. I am still curious, but I'm also kind of glad that I still don't know what my IQ is even now that I'm in my 30s.
Wat up with that Cello or Viola or whatever the hell violin-like instrument?.....I think I saw it in at least two pictures......Is Ed out in the woods by himself jamming down like Yo Yo Ma?
After listening to many of these podcasts on these insane killers, they all suffer from some kind of sexual dysfunction/perversion. In Geins case it was almost a lack of sex. One extreme to another. He might've been in love with his mother. But it all comes back to sex.
