Great, straightforward and insightful. Thanks 💜
From today I’m trying to keep it in the bathroom at night after bath time and by the windows during the day. Hopefully moving it won’t disturb it too much?

I’d love to see a part two where you actually trim the fern please!

Hmmm. Good idea. Sometimes I just forget to film important details. I am not sure how soon I can fix that.

If you put a grow light over it with a humidifier would it do better

Yes, it can make a good indoor plant over the winter. It will still lose a lot of leaves that grew under the outdoor conditions and that will not adapt too well to the indoor conditions. New leaves will grow adapted to the indoor light levels and indoor humidity. Those leaves will then probably fall off outdoors when the plant is moved back outside next summer.

Boston Ferns are pretty tough. If it is coming back, that is a good sign. It does best in shade. Morning sun is good too. Keep the soil damp but not waterlogged. You can fertilize it at half the rate of what the fertilizer package says. What region do you live in? How cold is the winter?
