    For Forced Recovery mode, pins 9 and 10 to be shorted. NOT THE LAST TWO PINS as mentioned

      @martincerven  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I just had to re-listen to myself, I literally said: "You have to short two pins, which are GROUND and pin next to it on the LEFT SIDE". So next time please listen carefully.
      I specifically said it like this because pins are not numbered, if you count from left side, you got it wrong too, since FC REC and GROUND are 10th and 11th LMAO

      @martincerven  ปีที่แล้ว

      I admit it's not worded as good as it should be, since there are multiple grounds, but it's clear from the video. Next time I'll add picture or diagram of the pins I mean to be perfectly clear.

    I tried installing the linux image, but I always get errors while flashing... First it cant find an installation candidate for netcat, then it can't unzip something, and so on. Then I wonder why it even has an installer when I have to manage so many errors...

    in step 03-SDK Manager is about to install SDK components on your Jetson Orin NX module. "Could not detect a board"

    It seems you can’t install jetpack 6 on ssd, after much review, I decided to install jetpack 5, and had no issues. Thanks for this video!

    what do you think of the max speed for writing and reading for this Jetson orin nano can get? You showed in the video that its read is around 2600 Mb/s, but SSD is capable of around 7450 reading and 6900 writing. Would it be OK if I buy an SSD card that has around 3000 Mb/s read/write speed and connect two cameras? I would love to learn more about this so eagerly.

      I have another video about SSD speeds with Raspberry, the AGX Orin actually has PCIE 4, and Orin Nano only PCIE 3

    I am following the setps but when i connect my pc to orin nano with usb a to usb c cable, it doesn't show in ubuntu. the only reason i could guess is that cable not support data transport.

      Could be, some cables are only for charging. Also disconnect the jumper after plugging the power. And update the app.

    Do we need use force recovery mode?

    • @martincerven
      @martincerven  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well, you need to enable flashing to SSD instead of booting, so that's probably it. From Nvidia forums:
      _The term recovery mode on the Jetson is the traditional term used in embedded systems. It refers to preparing the machine to accept firmware/software sent from an outside source. This is a special case; in this mode the machine is running a conceptually very simple program (the operating system is not loaded) which just writes bits to secondary storage (typically eMMC or SD card, though some embedded systems have lower level firmware areas that can be accessed). This is process is referred to as flashing. Usually there is some type of switch, jumper, or power up process on an embedded device to facilitate this change in mode. These bits comprise and configure the complete system environment, disk partitions, boot loaders, libraries, device trees, rootfs, and so on_
