I always thought that Stryker pointing at NightCrawler was a good source of irony because if you Know anything about the X-Men you'd know early on that Kurt Wagner was Heavily Catholic/ Christian so I always thought that was so funny because basically this shows the goodness in worship and the extremes in worship

I remember reading the Juggernaut comic and for some reason at the end I felt sorry for him. He didn't use the infinity gauntlet to kill humanity and it's heroes. His emotions and carelessness got the better of him.

One of my favorite "What Ifs"? When I read this comic years ago, it changed the way I saw Cain. Up to that point, he showed a different side a few times when traveling along with Black Tom and his depiction in the X-Men cartoon. I suspect the writers also felt that his character needed more fleshing out. About a few years later, we all saw that Cain was a very complex (emotionally inmature) man. He is not an anti-hero persay but a man with abandonment issues that manifested in his envy towards his little stepbrother. Prof X noticed this without using his psychic powers; hell, any student psychiatrist could quickly diagnose his problem within minutes. As time passed, Caine realized this too, but instead of trying to correct this with the best mental health professional, he knows (Charles) he buried his pain and regret. I have no doubt Cain loves Charles. Both men have been betrayed by their family members and share a bond that only brothers could understand. I hope that Cain will someday find his way. Yeah, I like the guy.

In the comic Logan says his nose was tricked as well. All the villains teamed up so Mysterio has they’re scents . Also Mysterio has tricked Spider-Man spider sense which is basically seeing into the future. If he can do that he can fool wolverines enhanced senses with this kind of backing. I always thought it would sell it better if he has help. likeMysterio , Mastermind, and Shadow king all assaulted Logan senses at once. The comics have had Mysterio show the ability to dupe peoples super senses though. So this isn’t that wild

The part of the bugs eating The Incredible Hulk honestly reminds me of the Greek myth of Prometheus getting his liver eaten daily by an eagle, and then having that part of his body regenerate.

Did you ever cover "Batman: Shadow of the Bat The Last Arkham" by Alan Grant and Norm Breyfogle? I only have the first issue but it's pretty dark. Jeremiah Arkham has officially taken over Arkham Asylum from his uncle and has...unique...methods of rehabilitation. We get a tour through Arkham and see some of the "patients" and their treatments. The first issue is awesome. Highly recommended.
How about the Wolverine story where a bunch of former wolverine victims who lost loved ones from him band together and hatch a revenge plan. They track down all his children from one night stands and such and train his kids to be fighters. Then they pit wolverine against them without him knowing who they are. He kills them all. Then the victims watch as Wolverine loses family members just like they did. That was a dark one.
Nowadays God Loves Man Kills would have to end with Stryker's supporters still claiming he was right,everyone else is lying, and there should be a civil war. Anything else would be too unbelievable.
Haven't read all of them, I was mostly focused on X-Men and Wolverine (and a few of the related comics) until the mid to late 90s so my exposure is limited, but number 5 is a personal favorite!
I'm waiting to see what happens with Deadpool & Blade. If those two films end up being rated R and aren't ruined by being toned down by Disney, then anything's possible. Due to the multiverse jumping that's happening, there could well be a one off peek into some of these alternative realities at some point down the line. Like a 'What If' scenario, but maybe in live action somewhere. We'll see...
God Loves Man Kills was the loose inspiration for the X2 movie, it was a loose, loose adaptation, but the main plot point of Stryker making Xavier use Cerebro to kill all mutants was still the main center of the, movie, so they won't go there again. I'd love to see a proper treatment of Days of Future Past and Age of Ultron, but that won't happen.

The darkest part of Hulk The End is that Banner asks Hulk to come with him to "Heaven" where he can find peace but Hulk wants to stay. Thats why it sould have been number 2 at least.
What confuses me is how iron Man lived that long as soon as powered by his reactor in his chest which is also a magnet that's keeping shrapnel from entering his heart I feel like if that stopped and couldn't power the suit that it also wouldn't be an electromagnet and therefore the shrapnel would go straight into his heart and he would die before that.....
Ultimate X-Men #41 has always been a dark one for me. Random kid comes of age and his mutant powers kick in, unfortunately it causes everyone around him to die. He unknowingly kills his family, girlfriend, tons of random people whom he comes in contact with and runs to a cave, away from everyone to wait it out. Some time later, Wolverine shows up with a six pack and the two of them drink and discuss what has happened outside. The kid thinks he's going to go to Xavier's School for the Gifted and eventually become an X-Men. He's wrong, Wolverine is there to kill him and does so.
Professor-X has always been a shady scumbag even in the regular MCU. How many mutants did he personally get killed in the comics? The guy was in love with a female teenager no wonder Jean Grey is so messed up.

If Fox ever do a Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe in almost a Logan Style I can see it Fox kinda making a war with Disney (maybe even have different posters of Deadpool killing The MCU heroes in most Deadpool way possible, like one of the posters would be Deadpool took an Ice Pick and hammered it into Captain America’s head when he still in a Giant Ice Cube, or Deadpool bashed Thor’s head in with his own hammer or even have Deadpool strangling Spidey with his own webs)

That moment that Punisher: The End and Hulk: The End could fit into the same universe because of the nuclear end of the world thing. As for X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills, the other reason the MCU won't adapt it is due to X-2: X-Men United basically being a adaptation of that story.
Love to see ruins 3 and 4. Oh how dark it can get. Black window get implanted with hundreds of spider eggs. Sentry go nuts and kills everyone on a alien planet because he can't stop voices in his head. She hulk blood infusion kills her slowly as green blood turns painful and lethal. Odin is senile and kills every asgrad over seeing thrm as enemies. Nightmare kills 1/4 of people from Nightmares and take them selves out. Storm becomes immoral and put in a coffin where no one can hear her.
If you want dark, you want the bag online adventures/the Amory wars. Kids get murdered by their parents in issue 1, one of which is with a "series of knocks to the young girls head side" (if you know, you'll get that reference)

God Loves Man Kills was the loose inspiration for the X2 movie, it was a loose, loose adaptation, but the main plot point of Stryker making Xavier use Cerebro to kill all mutants was still the main center of the, movie, so they won't go there again. I'd love to see a proper treatment of Days of Future Past and Age of Ultron, but that won't happen.

The darkest part of Hulk The End is that Banner asks Hulk to come with him to "Heaven" where he can find peace but Hulk wants to stay. Thats why it sould have been number 2 at least.

What confuses me is how iron Man lived that long as soon as powered by his reactor in his chest which is also a magnet that's keeping shrapnel from entering his heart I feel like if that stopped and couldn't power the suit that it also wouldn't be an electromagnet and therefore the shrapnel would go straight into his heart and he would die before that.....

Ultimate X-Men #41 has always been a dark one for me. Random kid comes of age and his mutant powers kick in, unfortunately it causes everyone around him to die. He unknowingly kills his family, girlfriend, tons of random people whom he comes in contact with and runs to a cave, away from everyone to wait it out. Some time later, Wolverine shows up with a six pack and the two of them drink and discuss what has happened outside. The kid thinks he's going to go to Xavier's School for the Gifted and eventually become an X-Men. He's wrong, Wolverine is there to kill him and does so.
i hate stories like that where wolverine just kills people and stuff because he can't see any other options
I don't want Marvel to get too dark that it gets stupid (like BVS from the DCU) but I'm sick of the typical marvel formula

If Fox ever do a Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe in almost a Logan Style I can see it Fox kinda making a war with Disney (maybe even have different posters of Deadpool killing The MCU heroes in most Deadpool way possible, like one of the posters would be Deadpool took an Ice Pick and hammered it into Captain America’s head when he still in a Giant Ice Cube, or Deadpool bashed Thor’s head in with his own hammer or even have Deadpool strangling Spidey with his own webs)

i think the inhumans got an unfair opinion in this video, just cuz they are seemingly discount mutants, they are far from helpless, and some can be kind of interesting arguably
I'd have to say "Spiderman: Reign" - killing Mary Jane with with his "radioactive love" was defiantly a low point for marvel comics...
I know they did "civil war" but the original story was so dark, killing all those kids right off the bat for instance, it doesn't seem that close to the real deal

That moment that Punisher: The End and Hulk: The End could fit into the same universe because of the nuclear end of the world thing. As for X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills, the other reason the MCU won't adapt it is due to X-2: X-Men United basically being a adaptation of that story.

Love to see ruins 3 and 4. Oh how dark it can get. Black window get implanted with hundreds of spider eggs. Sentry go nuts and kills everyone on a alien planet because he can't stop voices in his head. She hulk blood infusion kills her slowly as green blood turns painful and lethal. Odin is senile and kills every asgrad over seeing thrm as enemies. Nightmare kills 1/4 of people from Nightmares and take them selves out. Storm becomes immoral and put in a coffin where no one can hear her.
