Overwatch suddenly gave it's players some challenges where they could earn 4 skins for absolutely free just by playing the game, one of which was from a collaboration. They barely give it's playerbase any skins for free. Such a coincidence they decided to do this when Marvel Rivals came out, very strange indeed, they are not panicking at all.
They can give 20 for all anyone cares, they dug a grave for the game, murdered it, dumped it into the grave and then took a massive sh!t on top of it, didnt even bother to bury and now they are trying to defibrillate it.
@@scratthesquirrel5242 You mostly get sprays/charms or other useless shit for free. Very rarely does Blizzard decide to be generous and actually give a skin away for free. Most of the time, they put skins in Battle Pass or Shop and when they are in the shop, they usually ask you to spend like 20 dollars on them.
Exactly, there is no Superhero fatigue, only cringe mcu dialogue based movie fatigue, every movie looks like as if it came out of mcu. There is no character in their creation, only copy based bullshit tier direction in story. I love marvel but mcu is just so done
Seriously. This game makes me want to see movies of some of these characters I have never heard of that look really cool, like Cloak and Dagger. Then again....probably get a lame ass Disney production. I miss the good days.

@@davidking2011So are you going to say that everything Disney does is bad? because disney delivered loki and it was very good, x men 97 was very good, agatha was good and no one had faith in her
Marvel fatigue isn't Marvel fatigue. It's Disney fatigue. Disney writing feels like Disney writing. It's corporate it's forced it's gross it's soulless and it made Star Wars feel dead and it made Marvel feel dead.
It not marvel it's more the movie format and connected universe. Add the shit writing but even without it if you want to be up to date you have to watch 20 movies and and a bunch of tv shows. Also the ton of movies that come out. It's oversaturated and people just want diversity. If after end game they didn't make anything for a few years and then started again with a clean slate it would have worked better. Like starting the prosses of a connected universe again with references to the past ones but not so connected. That's why comics have so many reboots when it becomes bogged down they hit the reset button and it's fresh again.

Well Marvel have this card game called Marvel Snap, and guess what. Jeff is one of the most iconic characters in there. Everyone loves him! Jeff is just awesome and was designed in a very smart way. He's cute, and that's all he needs to be successful and popular.
A cute little sharky boy that heals your teammates and can gobble up the entire enemy team at once and spit them out off the map to get an instant 6K, of course we were all gonna love Jeff, he's adorable
It was alive at some point. They gave birth to it. It wasn't an abortion, it was infanticide. They took one week old product and took it to the back of the barn.
Everyone talks about how MR stole OW's crown, they did not do that, they walked into the throne room with the crown on an empty throne as the former king hangs their ass out the window and shits on their players.
To be fair, concord was shit for entirely different reasons and overwatch got shittified with overwatch 2. Both studios made terrible design decisions that killed the respective games. Gamebalance was by for not the biggest contributor
One of the best ways to balance is not to nerf, not to say nerfing isnt called for sometimes, but instead of taking away from something that is fund because it is strong, instead buffing other characters/heroes/classes so they can compete with the OP one, that way you do not remove the fun from playing the one character while at the same time making other characters viable and potentially by powering them up also equally fun and rewarding to play as.
I remember playing Pyro in team fortress, standing just outside the enemy spawn and setting them on fire as soon as they jumped out lmao. This would never happen in modern games. It would offend the corporate managers
The developers even said they want to avoid nerfs and instead want to focus on buffing the not so good characters, which I think is the best approach, since the already fun characters will still be fun. They are also not considering a role queue right now, which is also nice, they are basically doing all the right decisions you could make with this type of game.
True, and if you think about it. Netease uses to host & services Blizzard game including Overwatch and Bliz broke down the contract. So, this might even be some kind of Revenge from Netease
IMO seeing what the character looks from 3rd person perspective elevates the player gameplay experience. Bought the Psylocke skin and have been winning a lot with 25+ kills per game in competitive mode. *No Regrets*
PRetty much. Once you hit Diamond in ranked you get bans on the broken heroes such as Hela, Mantis and Hawkeye. The game allows players to balance it themself.
@@johnpastamanif I remember correctly, you preordered the season 1 battlepass and 2000 overwatch coins for a choice to spend on either the shop or future battlepasses. They also included a bunch of old Overwatch 1 skins and a few new Overwatch 2 skins but that's about it.
First impression is important. I refunded cyberpunk 2077 and didn't think about giving it another try until the 2.0 update with dlc. It takes a lot of work to change a person's mind. The problem with live service games is that you don't have that time. You lose money by keeping the servers up and the game dies because less players means less content for remaining players.
Marvel Rivals is so good that I am rewatching all of movies leading up to Endgame. Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor Ragnarok, and Infinity War are all masterpieces.

@@priest148they couldn’t keep lootboxes, it goes directly against the current business model and the same reason rivals doesn’t have lootboxes, the f2p only works because people will buy skins. The dev team getting smaller was due to Covid and blizzards layoffs which is more of a problem with the company and not the developers so it’s kind of foolish to blame them for it, it’s also the same reason PvE failed but I agree they shouldn’t of led us on. If you seriously think lootboxes being removed is a top concern then I doubt you actually play the game. Get over it, lootboxes will never return and it’s obvious why
@rfewer Woah, dude, take a chill pill! It ain't that serious. Lootboxes were a small portion of my post, but you decided to write a small essay on it. I don't really care, all that much. My biggest gripe was the PvE being rug-pulled on us. There's literally no defense for that... Edit: You misunderstood my statement on team size, which is kinda understandable. I wasn't talking about Dev team, I was talking about the in-game team sizes.
I bought the last OW2 BP because I wanted the Ana skin at the end of the BP. I played one game and went back to the BP and realized quickly that I wasn't actually going to be able to play enough to even get her, so I asked for refund. Blizzard wouldn't give me one :3 I play Rivals now.
one more point to expiring Battlepasses - if it's expiring, it makes me over-play the game during this time, and then usually comes fatigue, especially when I already see, that I have no chance to "win". I just abandon it until the next event. When it does not expire, I can slowly grind and take my time until the next one.
Yeah the bullshit part about Overwatch 1 is that I bought that game. I didn't want a F2P microtransaction lottery bullshit game, I bought the game I wanted. OW2 comes around and they just shut down OW1 and move everyone to OW2? No fucking thank you.
@@Vrip5824 no no OW2 has the *promise* of PVE content I mean, they never actually implemented it, but they *PROMISED* it and that's good enough. Right? Right!?
No surprise, Marvel is a franchise a lot of people like and on top of that Marvel Rivals doesn't take itself too seriously which Overwatch did. Of course, when the majority of your playerbase is casual players and you only balance characters based on their performance in top ranked - they're gonna leave. Here we have a hero shooter with goofy but solid gameplay, and people love it. I don't miss Genji calling out for heals one bit, Overwatch is in the garbage where it rightfully belongs.

Warcraft did more than take things from Warhammer, the game was made in an attempt to earn some of the rights to Games Workshop's IPs. They didn't get the nod from GW, but saw they didn't get in trouble for selling the game, so they continued copying Games Workshop with Starcraft, 1 and 2, Warcraft 2 3; adding their own story so as to be clear of litigation.
StarCraft doesn’t copy 40K. It’s oddly the other way around despite 40K being older. 40K doesn’t really look like StarCraft until after StarCraft. Like you look at the first few editions of the Tyranids and you probably aren’t mistaking them for the Zerg. StarCraft is more taking from Aliens versus Predator and Starship Troopers. It’s basically Blizzard’s Alien vs Predator RTS game with Starship Troopers Power Armor and movie Starship Troopers Arachnids folded into the Xenomorphs. Stuff like the humans being very southern in StarCraft feels like someone at Blizzard was reading Dark Horse Alien comics.
@@DIOBrando-ij2bp Eldar, Nids, and Imp Guard was the first thing I though when I played that game. But you're right that aliens vs humans is an old trope. Heinlein's Starship Troopers book predates 40k by quite a bit being written in '59, and the movie adaptation sure felt like Imp Guard v Tyranids to me. I played 2nd ed 40k before Starcraft came out (yes I'm ancient), while they weren't 1 for 1, the miniatures were convincing enough to be the inspiration for StarCraft (look at the 2nd ed Hormagaunt model before they were made generic). Particularly when you also looked at Epic 40k and the Armourcraft (precursor to Forgeworld in resin models for 40k) Tyranid resins that were sold back then.
It's pretty simple... Marvel Rivals is FUN... OG Overwatch used to be very fun, but it got way too competitive and they catered to the competitive market so much they introduced role queue, gimped so many heroes, and just made playing unbearable for those who didn't care about metagaming. Almost every hero in Rivals feels pwerful right now (minus maybe Wolverine lol - he needs a small buff).
role queue saved OW. i don't know how people started parroting this narrative but the game increased players after role queue. everyone was complaining about not enough people wanting to heal or tank. you can even still play non-role queue because both modes are in the game, and role queue has MORE players. i understand the Rivals hype but there's so much misinformation around OW. Asmon in this video even says no one dies in OW, which is just wrong i mean he doesn't even play it.
@@DoubleXP-u1g it was a shortsighted bandaid on a larger problem, where they had no idea how to balance and everyone found new ways to make goats work(3 tanks 3 support), it was honestly because nobody could play dps heroes without throwing or getting spam reported in any elo masters and above. Marvel rivals is my first ever hero shooter game or whatever genre it is and i love it! Pure chaos every match. Havent touched ranked yet though and probably never will as i play for fun
I played a ton of Rivals. It’s a decent game but the matchmaking is so bad I quit the game. I’m talking one team’s DPS combines to go 88-5 and the other team’s goes 7-31. It happens in Overwatch too, but not every single game like Rivals. I would enjoy Rivals more than Overwatch if the matches weren’t so awful.
It takes time. Many characters function ectremely similar to overwatch which is a game that is 8 years old. I am a former masters player that is tearing up the low elo lobbys because that is were you start. After sometime it will be more balanced.
Widowmaker: Charged up shot that can oneshot most heroes or rapid fire for close range combat, grapple on a really long cooldown to move around, venom mine, ult can show everyone on your team where anyone on the enemy team is (Still the dumbest ult in the game when sombra and hanzo get it for free most of the match) Black Widow: Charged up shot that does NOT one shot and charges after every shot so you cannot spam the shots, has melee weapons for close range, a kick to knock back enemies THEN can grapple them, Sprint movement and has a superjump to get to highground, ult its a laser that can be charged up and everyone who is hit by it gets slowed movement. It's laughable when people say characters are just copies man.
Widowmaker feels so bad Any other DPS can strafe like they are on cocaine with full accuracy and power while Widow has to stand still slowly charging a shot that only kills if you land a perfect headshot on a cracked Soujorn that can kill you twice before the shot charges. Either that or backline enemy dps will stomp your ass until switch

I watched a streamer play Overwatch recently and the viewers could stream snipe 10 out of 10 games, one game even had three stream snipers. This is not possible with a player base that's active and alive.
the problem with Overwatch is that they focused TOO MUCH on the competitive minority instead of the fun of the casual player. they refined EVERY SINGLE detail, reworkded every hero each f***ng season which made it useless to try and main a hero if youre gonna get punished if Blizzard decides to throw in a new hero and YOUR MAIN will be nerfed because it would become a valid counterpick to the new hero. Dont know why Blizzard wants to catter so hard to "E- sports" when the casual player wouldnt care about top 500.
They definitely cater to casuals over pro players that’s why Reinhardt doesn’t ever get buffed, it’s because he performs very well in metal ranks, they don’t nerf widow because she performs poorly in low ranks. I don’t know where you got the idea that they care about competitive players.

26:20 Just because the game is F2P doesn't mean the company should have the right to overcharge for in-game items. If all micro-transactions were just $5 and all the current active players bought only 5 skins a month every month for a year, the game would generate over 9 million dollars. Saying "the company needs to make money somehow" is ridiculous. $20-$30 is way too much, and I personally believe there should be a legal limit for what they can charge for extra in-game purchases. The company has their rights, and so do the people. Extorting the people via manipulative tactics to pay for overpriced items is anti-comsumer, and anti-consumer practices infringe on the people's rights.
I think a good solution to making a pvp game competitive is to add a different competitive environment, much like in tf2 where certain weapons are banned to nerf the classes and some stat tweaks, tweaks that don't affect the casual game mode and is only applied to ranked, like maybe in rank there's a limit to jeff the land sharks ult or dr.stranges portals can only go so far, etc. I think that is a good solution to separate the tryhards and those who just want to have fun, you'll get a tryhard in a casual game but they will have to adapt to a more limitless environment therefore it isn't very good for them to train or to smurf on players since they are dealing with different mechanics.
this year has been great for gamers. poe2, wukong, marvel rivals, palworld, space marine 2, elden ring dlc, metaphor and im pretty sure i've forgot something.
dont know if its said yet but the 33 character rooster is very important. it allows plenty of well known heroes and unknown nobodies to be in the game so people can play their favorites and get some new ones.
21:07 - that's not entirely true. By that argument, new people would never get into oh, let's say chess - which IS ultra competitive and it has an established hierarchy and metric system. Just because there are computers who will play chess far better than you or there are a couple of people whose skill and tactical thinking you will never match, it doesn't detract new players from enjoying the game.
Bad analogy, in chess i just need to think and speak to be able to play, the skill comes from thought not reaction times. Plus in chess theres no chance of you getting spawn killed to the point you can do nothing when starting. That and every move in chess can be planned and predicted you cant do that with an online shooter.
I´m actually a bit shocked because the game genuinely is much worse than overwatch in gameplay terms. Bloated kits, unbalanced onesided matches and boring tanks. The only pro i can come up with is the quetimes but I rather have a deathmatch in-between anyway
I assure you it wasn't Gamergate. Blizzard made into shit because of Bobby Kotick's greed. Keplan wanted so much for Overwatch to grow and improve, but Bobby's greed and decisions made it suffer. Which I understand why Keplan hightailed out of there before the Blizzard scandal broke out.
When the imitators outdo the originator. It's already 2 to 0 for blizzard with PoE vs diablo, and now this. What's next? A new mmorpg blew WoW out of the water?
Game is really fun but i do have one major critique. The healers go stupid i can do over 3000 damage to single player and they instantly get all there health back repeatedly. In turn matches generally turn into stalemates.
The free skins are not enough Overwatch, your marketing teams stranglehold on all the better detailed cosmetics is unfun if not sinister and everyone is tired of your company because of things like this. Please go away and sell your IP. sincerely, a player who supported OW1 and OW2 since both launch's a player who believed the lies a player who invested money as well as time
one of the big problems with overwatch is, that it only has a handful of cool or interesting characters. Marvel Rivals is full of cool and interesting characters and the chaos during matches is perfect for a game full of superhero’s. The chaos is super addicting and so is playing the majority of characters in the game.🔥🔥O and this style of game plays better in 3rd person.
I only played lucio cuz he was by far the most fun character to play. But as for rivals I enjoy luna, Jeff and Adam. Have yet to try more cuz 99% of games I end up being healer cuz everyone plays dps
The reasons why it’s likely this game stays around for a long time are: 1. The game has a strong foundation made to be built upon for years with genuinely fun gameplay loops in their character designs reminiscent of old OW 2. Marvel characters
theres like a gazillion marvel characters, and being an umbrella ip of disney, they can literally put other characters that they own in there if they for some reason run out of marvel characters, its literally an infinite content cow.
Did they lose tho? I mean, Overwatch had its moment of glory, they made like 565 million dollars by the end of 2016 and had ¬40 million players by 2018 (which is super impressive, since OW was a b2p title, not f2p). We'll have to see how Marvel Rivals will develop in the future, but I'm a little bit scared. Netease is known only for making gacha and p2w mobile games to generate as much money as they can as quickly as they can and then abandoning the title. I hope that won't be the case for MR, but I can already see some mechanics, like seasonal stat boosts/teamups that will be problematic in upcoming seasons, since I think people don't even realize they're planning to basically "reset" all of the game's balance every season "for the content".
I agree, I mean that's the thing with them since 2017. They will never listen to their community because they know they already have met their financial target back in 2016-17 so they really dont care at this point.
From what I've noticed, forcing a competitive scene into every RTS has almost killed the genre. Maybe, just maybe, turning even this game into yet another ‘sweat fiesta’ isn't the right move, because toxicity, ‘unfair’ matchmaking and forced meta are all part of the package and I'm pretty sure more than half the people who have been following the Marvel Universe just want to play and enjoy a game with their favourite superheroes.
ow was one of my most played game then Valorant then this. OW is so easy to quit because of Doomfist was released. Only dps have fun in that game. OW gameplay will be S tier in a MMO setting but not in 5v5. i will play it again if it become PVE against Goblins, Dragons in a dungeon/ open world.
My only gripe with Marvel Rivals is forced bot matches after too many losses in a row. Specifically in my case when I look through my match history, I have never gotten more than 5 losses in a row... Because after 4 matches the game will secretly put me against bots. It's a clear pattern. I don't want the game to do that. If the game feels easy or it feels like bots, go into your match history and try to view the profiles of the enemy team. If you can't, they are bots. It says something like "This player's career is put on private." Yeah. Sure. Coincidentally all 6 enemy players have privated profiles during a game where we completely stomped in around 8 minutes after a 4 game loss streak. 😂
@@PnB_Menace It happens to everybody. Look at your match history. I'm not the first one to talk about this and I didn't believe it until I looked into it myself
One of the huge advantages Marvel Rivals has over other hero shooters is that they don't have to come up with characters from scratch. Marvel has already done the hard work for them with hundreds of awesome already fleshed out characters they could pull from. Okay what characters we missing? Well why don't we add Captain Marvel, Blade, or Doctor Doom? Maybe we could add the whole Fantastic Four characters set at the same time! Since they already know what the characters look like and what their comic book characters power sets are going to be that will influence what their game abilities will eventually be, then half the work is already done for them which lets them churn out new characters at a faster rate.
Jeff the shark capitalized on the baby shark song, which like it or not had a very positive reception. Jeff the shark is, at least to me, obviously modeled in a similar way. It's nostalgic, silly, and OP in game. Every character in this game has it own existing fan base/nostalgic love and are all existing IPs. It's so simple to tell the natural draw to this, the original video is missing the forest for the trees.
If theyre smart about it,they should be already working on a PVEmode like OV2 promised and never delivered. That could keep players interested for when the hype dies. Meanwhile for Blizzard the best way to get back at it is to ditch OV2,make a new game like HOTS and bring in all their franchise characters and bring back OV1 mechanics and format.
@@riatorex8722 I mean like combine all their IP characters in a hero shooter to compete with Rivals.OV2 is a lost cause, thats the only way I can think of for them to match with what Rivals is doing. If they dont do anything their major IPs like Diablo will be dead coz people have better alternatives like POE2 and now Rivals

Asmons take on rivals means literally 0 btw. He doesn't play those games at all. Rivals isn't going to die ever. They have millions of console players lmfao
You can change Heroes mid match, and as many times as you like to rebalance teams. Also there is a casual mode and the devs refuse to lock teams to requiring specific team builds in defense that they want everyone to be able to play as whoever they want. All characters are unlocked and have no abilities locked behind experience points or levels. The animation and art style is also great, and with the idea that passes are always accessible this game won't be losing steam for a while as long as they keep bringing in new maps and heroes. There is some form of Meta characters already, however none of them can stand alone and all can easily be countered.
there's no coping, just misinformation. non-role queue is in still in OW, but role queue has more players. people somehow forget just how much people complained about not having enough healers and tanks. Asmon even says no one dies in OW, which just isn't true. OW made a lot of mistakes but hardly anyone talks about them and instead makes stuff up.

@@hiiambarney4489 yeah people have this weird paranoia for role queue in Rivals. if Rivals has both modes, they'll have nothing to fear if they genuinely believe non-role queue is somehow more popular. it'll come for sure.
@@DoubleXP-u1g There's only coping. No one said there wasn't open queue. The sole reason more people are in role queue is because of pure cope. Same with 6v6 vs 5v5 coping. It has always been a fundamental design flaw of the game and role queue just made it worse because it only pigeonholed the other roles into it.
My only complaint is that rivals is plagued with bots, and they're trying to keep the bots super hidden unless you get the codes to watch the bots playback.

The developers even said they want to avoid nerfs and instead want to focus on buffing the not so good characters, which I think is the best approach, since the already fun characters will still be fun. blizzard could make a a mmo game with Overwatch gameplay but NO. Mouse clicking and Tab targeting is king
I 100 percent agree, that why all those dam tanks got buffed, because all the top 500 and streamers wouldn’t stop bitchin about how bad they are.

I think that is a good solution to separate the tryhards and those who just want to have fun, you'll get a tryhard in a casual game but they will have to adapt to a more limitless environment therefore it isn't very good for them to train or to smurf on players since they are dealing with different mechanics.

dont know if its said yet but the 33 character rooster is very important. it allows plenty of well known heroes and unknown nobodies to be in the game so people can play their favorites and get some new ones.
Funny thing is, they didnt have to do much, they just looked at what blizzard used to do and did the same, blizzard basically lost to themselves

You mean Sweet Baby Inc. (Who now go by "Powell group" due to backlash)

Marvel rivals actually respects the source material. That’s why people don’t have “marvel fatigue” with this game.
True
Game is really fun but i do have one major critique. The healers go stupid i can do over 3000 damage to single player and they instantly get all there health back repeatedly. In turn matches generally turn into stalemates.
The free skins are not enough Overwatch, your marketing teams stranglehold on all the better detailed cosmetics is unfun if not sinister and everyone is tired of your company because of things like this. Please go away and sell your IP.

one of the big problems with overwatch is, that it only has a handful of cool or interesting characters. Marvel Rivals is full of cool and interesting characters and the chaos during matches is perfect for a game full of superhero’s. The chaos is super addicting and so is playing the majority of characters in the game.🔥🔥O and this style of game plays better in 3rd person.

The reasons why it’s likely this game stays around for a long time are:
1. The game has a strong foundation made to be built upon for years with genuinely fun gameplay loops in their character designs reminiscent of old OW
2. Marvel characters
theres like a gazillion marvel characters, and being an umbrella ip of disney, they can literally put other characters that they own in there if they for some reason run out of marvel characters, its literally an infinite content cow.
The only way it can fail is if Disney starts getting greedy

B.. b.. but I thought the hero shooter market was oversaturated!!!!
love a good futurama quote
it's like a moba game it's unbalanced you can do anything in ever hero that's why it's addictive
They will never listen to their community because they know they already have met their financial target back in 2016-17 so they really dont care at this point.
buying skins where i can see my skin in third person rather first person
From what I've noticed, forcing a competitive scene into every RTS has almost killed the genre. Maybe, just maybe, turning even this game into yet another ‘sweat fiesta’ isn't the right move, because toxicity, ‘unfair’ matchmaking and forced meta are all part of the package and I'm pretty sure more than half the people who have been following the Marvel Universe just want to play and enjoy a game with their favourite superheroes.
I have meant to quit OW for years now. But i never found a similar game that scratched that etch for me. Now i found it, and im hooked.
OW was the easiest quit of my entire life. At least when OW 2 released.
ow was one of my most played game then Valorant then this. OW is so easy to quit because of Doomfist was released. Only dps have fun in that game.

Is sbmm in the game?
So you want more lose streak?
They like you suck bro
Tell me your a masochist without telling me your a masochist
Its an actual marvel character tho its the pet of gwenpool

Nothing should cost more than a dollar in that store, but WHALE HUNTING ruins everything.

14:38 Did they seriously make a splatoon game for jeff?! I've just been playing the standard QP, didn't know there was a different game mode.
It got added yesterday as part of the winter event
If theyre smart about it,they should be already working on a PVEmode like OV2 promised and never delivered. That could keep players interested for when the hype dies.
Meanwhile for Blizzard the best way to get back at it is to ditch OV2,make a new game like HOTS and bring in all their franchise characters and bring back OV1 mechanics and format.

Meanwhile we have Tracer being conceptually identical to Scout from TF2.
Mercy is LITERALLY Medic.
Pharah is literally Soldier, down to the rocket jump tech being almost the same.
Torbjörn is literally Engineer before they reworked Torbjörn.
Sombra is very similar to Spy.
Windowmaker is quite literally Sniper, down to the exact same sniping mechanic of where she needs to be scoped for a bit to get her full damage. She is just a bit more mobile.
Junkrat = Demoman.
Only Heavy and Pyro weren't straight up copied from TF2.
Good job Mike, you truly defended that poor indie company Blizzard. To be honest, they haven't released anything Triple-A worthy in a while so we might as well start saying it unsarcastically.
Lmao
It's hilarious to say it tho
Window maker is from italy or paris maybe and her traits as a ballerina dancer and a high tech assassin she foghter style are offen on long range combat her rifle can turn into a submachine when not scooped while its turns as a sniper rifle when used as a scooped aim her only mobility is her grabbing hook and her only defense is that she only a spider posion mind to damage enemy when it gets too close since , once she got hit on any direction she not having a great time eother its a tank , dps or another dps , besides she also extra sexy hot
While sniper despite being grown up and apdopt in country of Australian and his english accent make it sense why he sound like that , his combat style is fine for both long range and close range even melee , his long range weapony can be a sniper rifle or a bow , while had a machine gun for qn option when desperate in close quarters or his melee weapon is a machetes and kukri knife and a jar of piss when its needed necessary, in game he feels like an actual sniper instead one of those crappy cod moments only problem you hwve much of mobility when escaping when enemy is too close to you .
While for spy and sombra they quite the same despite being different , one is dressup like in cyberpunk character from Brazil while other had a good passion style besides being old fashioned with a mask and he from French , one is specifically for hacking enemies health , turrets and the others is engineer gadgets , but in terms of combat for sombra is not much she has a mini uzi but dosent do much of a damage against tank but well rounded against dps , while her ult skill she explose but you gonna have to fill it by shooting at people while spy can sneak up behind enemy whenever when its a tank or a supp or a dps its hits truly critical damage while his weaponry of his choose are butterfly knife , or kunai or even a icespike .
@@code066funkinbird3 When I reference the TF2 characters, I am talking about the base kits, not the weapons they received in later updates. Sniper was basically dead meat if he didn't get into a good sniping position, really not much different from Widow.
Sombra and Spy's ability to disrupt the enemies is the similarities. Sombra being able to hack turrets to distrupt defenses or use her ultimate to cause chaos is basically the exact same gameplay that Spy strives for. Just because they go about it in different ways doesn't mean they aren't basically the same thematically.

It's not competitive players but the losers who cope. Role queue was the worst thing that happened to Overwatch. Marvel rivals does it better.
there's no coping, just misinformation. non-role queue is in still in OW, but role queue has more players. people somehow forget just how much people complained about not having enough healers and tanks. Asmon even says no one dies in OW, which just isn't true. OW made a lot of mistakes but hardly anyone talks about them and instead makes stuff up.
@@DoubleXP-u1g Ikr? If stuff doesn't die in Overwatch, it's because you are shooting a Rein Shield as Ana or something. Role Queue was a godsent when it released. And it will come to Rivals, simply by nature of the type of people who are playing this game, just watch.
The game didn't improve it got worse, because 6dps's were never an actual problem, the problem was anything but dps sucked, whenever they didn't suck they would be op and nerfed into the ground. It has always been a fundamental design flaw of the game and role queue just made it worse because it only pigeonholed the other roles into it.

no amount of fixing will make players comeback if it is still a 5v5 game.
How are Junkrat and Genji the same, for example? I’m bored of the game too but you don’t have to invent made up narratives
the hype behind it will be tied to movies, then to character releases concurrent with the movies, then it will be battlepass stuff that already making in universe refrences, so the fan service alone is enough to keep this game alive for a while
2:55 generally competitive games like this last much longer than most games. For those dedicated to the game, there is always room for improvement no matter how good you get. For the casual player, it's a game you just pick with your friends.

If they can avoid destroying game balance & burning money for a dogshit e-sports scene, they'll be completely fine.
Not changing the heroes or doing any balancing will make the game stale really quick

MR is just superior
I hope they wont nerf anything, only buff what is needed (Storm) and let the game live the way it is
Overwatch about its fans: "You turned them against me!
Marvel Rivals: "You have done that yourself."
They did the SMART move. They used the LEGACY Marvel characters, not the new, DEI and M-SHE-U characters.
Thing is, in marvelrivals there's seasonal bonusses for characters so some seasons its better to play hulk because his teamup includes an extra 150HP and other seasons might be better to play groot for example. This makes it easy to switch up balancing through seasons
