When you have more 3yr olds do you teach them to write there names ? Or just their first letter of their name and or just letter recognition only no writing it.

When my students move up to the threes class (the year after mine), then they start working on writing their hames IF they are ready. (This is focused most in the pre-k (4 year olds) class.) In the meantime, I will do activities that involve their names (name recognition), and they see their names written on labels in various parts of the classroom. I put together a variety of activities that strengthen their fingers, getting them ready for future writing.

How would you teach the little ones if all you have are printables? Our preschool room is bare, it only has 2 tables, chairs and mags.
