Even if the world declares victory against COVID-19, I will continue to wear a mask anytime I go outside for probably years to come. I have found that over the last 12 months I have rarely been sick. it's not that much of an inconvenience, and if masks can help in some way to avoid catching the common cold or flu, then I think it is a cheap and easy way to protect my own health. Same goes with hand sanitiser.

Every country has good and bad points. The different with China is - China don’t like to spread lies, malice and instigation to cause harm to other countries. China is not a perfect country but China don’t practice hypocrisy like many Western countries did.

I think the Westerners learned "lock down" from China, but before they used it they complained it is against human rights. As a result of the one case in Nanning, the residential district of NingNing ( i think that was its name) was shut down and all residents tested. I live in Binyang, Guangxi, which is a county of the city of Nanning, and there has not been one case since the pandemic started. Mind you, we have restrictions at the moment that would surprise people in the west, but the reason is very sound. You cannot at the moment, prior to the spring festival with so many people arriving from the big cities, buy many types of medicine especially for colds and flu, and analgesics which assist with temperature reduction. This is intended to force people with any symptoms of colds and other illnesses to attend the peoples hospital, where they will firstly be tested, and can receive medications for any ailments they may have. Of course, wearing of masks and temperature checks are also back when entering plazas and supermarkets, until after the spring festival, when things will again return to normal.
I'm in the UK, basically people don't like following the rules and there's barley any police enforcement. The main issue is Westerners are more individualistic, I've heard to many times people say it's my live and do what the f*** I want with it, China's culture is a more collective society people watch out for each other much and are willing to cooperate even if it's doing something they don't like, people in the UK will only cooperate if they feel like it, if they don't feel like it they don't care if other people die

I heard the construction of a high speed rail between Nanning and Guiyang has been approved, and will be completed by 2022. China’s speed in building infrastructures is indeed so amazing the rest of the can only watch in awe. Guiyang to Nanning in less than two hours? Imagine you can take a leisure dip in the ocean in the morning, enjoy some tropical drink and lunch in the afternoon then return to Guiyang, you indulge on a big Wopper and Jiao can enjoy a bow of the famous Huaxi beef noodle in the evening?

Well, if the local government did not take the pandemic seriously, they will be asked to leave. That’s what happened to Wuhan and Hebei at the beginning. A couple of weeks ago I read from the news that 8 government officials were asked to leave from Heilongjiang because of the same reason.
