Love these grab your phone to film being out and about in the city. I especially enjoy the ground level view of stores during walks down the city streets. I'd welcome seeing more videos like this in the future. Interesting to follow what you choose to do on your weekend, and also interesting to see how fast the cost adds up. It's something to which we can all relate. Thanks, Frank, for another enjoyable video. 👍
Your spending isn’t that bad. I don’t do something like sweat tonic. Dim sum is normally $35-40 between 2 people for but you either must eat a lot or got seafood. Your spending isn’t bad unless you make below $50k per year. You might want to give an idea what rent is. The bubble tea thing would normally be a once of twice per week for me. Nice video!
The weekly groceries shouldn’t count because it’s weekly groceries not really part of the weekend out. So basically $100 for the weekend and that’s pretty reasonable.
Bro, you didn't even go out at night (Friday/Sat or both!). A couple drinks could easily run you $50-150 bucks depending on where you go! Groceries don't really count because those are a necessity.
Toronto is terrible, not the same like it was 10 years ago. High costs of living, weak Canadian dollar, tiny job market, oversaturated amount of school graduates, overpopulation due to mass influx of people, etc
Toronto doesn't make people broke, nor do other cities, people spending their money, whether it's earned from a job or provided by the government, wasting money frivilously and living beyond one's means makes a person broke. Too many people these days want to live beyond their means, they think they're entitled to live beyond their means in luxury and when they can't do that they do things like blame the government, and these days, they blame the carbon tax and Justin Trudeau. These days the concept of working hard for what you want seems to evade people, instead they just want everything handed to them, because "it's my right, not being able to goes against my rights".
💸💰
More of these please!
Even if you do not spend money it would be cool to see your Toronto life
Thanks - I'll try. I find these vids are pretty casual since I just use my phone lol.

Montreal is also making people flat flat broke. Gallon of milk cost: 5,89$
That's pretty wild for milk. Thanks for watching!
Check out Otto’s Berlin donair in Kensington market. Then grab a coffee at jimmys after
Thx for the recommendation- I’ll have to check it sometime
$100 groceries can last you a couple of weeks? That's amazing! I spend $150 on groceries and still feel like there's nothing to eat.
What a vlog!
What a weekend!
Dinner as a couple & 1 child (tween) runs us about $ 225 in the GTA without fail. Good restaurants but still. And yes the kid is lucky.
Eating out can get pricey hey.
One caution about the Presto card… don’t put it with your credit card. It might accidentally charge both. Happened to my brother in law… 😢
Good tip - unfortunate that happend
Dim sum for 2 for 80 bucks seems abit steep.
Agreed - it's very steep tbh. It was for a special occasion tho.
Don’t know why I thought your sister lived in Winnipeg lol
Winnipeg too cold for all of us!

Worst government ever

accountability goes a long way.
