I tried this and noticied that the transformer inside the ups is getting over heated after using for about 2 hours and ups gets shutdown.
So I think since computer ups is desigened to support only for 30 minutes backup they have not included cooling fan ie transfomer will work only for 30 minutes to convert dc to AC from battery during power failure... when power is there transformer will not heat much as it charges the battery @ regular intervals not all the time..
So i think transformer will get burn out soon.. so do we need additional cooling fan to solve this?
