Öneza-Creative Aging Healing Drum Celebration

Öneza Lafontant organized a Healing Drum celebration with the esteemed elders at a Brooklyn based center for aging adults. This celebration was the culmination of his SU-CASA Teaching Artist residency at Brooklyn Arts Council. Peniel Guerrier was a special guest artist who inspired the participants with dance movements. These distinguished community members had amazing energy. It was an honor to share our Haitian songs, rhythms and dance in this cultural space.
