Hi, coach Kennie! I used to watch your games with Kennevic when I was younger. Both of you have inspired me to take up the sport as a hobby. I only recently found your TH-cam channel when I started playing again after five years. Your videos are full of information that are easy to understand and are mostly concentrated on the basics, which I love. Please keep making badminton videos. More power to Philippine badminton! ❤️
Hi, many thanks. I try to make a point of practising net play at least once a week. It is a delicate touch, which takes time and lots of practice. I do make the mistake , in game situation where I rush too close to the net. In future, will focus on keeping on the service line. Much appreciated.
Thank you too D K! I suggest to give more time to practicing the net shot even if you do that 5 min before or after you play/train as often as you can😁🏸🏸
Hi kennie!! you are an excellent coach and keep posting such valuable videos..can you pls upload video on cross net for my daughter. Many thanks to you.God bless you!!
I use Yonex Nanoflare 700 & Yonex Arc Saber FB (flash boost) interchangeably. I like both because they are light weight in my opinion. As for string, i always go for Yonex BG 65, the thickness of the string is just right. Tension is very important & depends on the player using it. The higher the tension it becomes bouncier & needs more control but can also help u with different shots (so it really is a personal preference). My tension is between 26-27. My brothes tension is 30 but when i tried changing to 30 I felt my elbow hurt, maybe the vibration of that high tension wasn’t for me so i went back down to 26-27 only. Hope that helps! 😁🏸
Deceptive shots is a habit some players do often, when done so the key to getting those shots is not to move in anticipation & instead move with a quick reaction when opponent has executed their shot😁🏸
Hi kinn how r you ; I like how u teach . whether you belong to India or some other country how can I approach u .I am interested to learn also want to know ur fee .I am from India noida up
Hi! I am currently finishing on some projects and ventures then i can get back to working on my online coaching program. Will inform you once thats ready! Thank u! 😁🏸
Hi Rama! Making a training program should be suited for a particular player or group of players. What they specifically need & normally the coach makes the program based on what the player needs to improve on😁
I have 2 previous videos on backhand. For backhand smash th-cam.com/video/uv1yI9FNyvI/w-d-xo.html and for backhand clear its th-cam.com/video/7ey-Ub0yVWQ/w-d-xo.html check it out. But actual practice is the key in strengthening that backhand. 😁🏸
Your wrist should be relaxed when u hit net shots plus it is controlled with only small movements in front. But for other shots the wrist is important. You can do wrist curls with dumbells to strengthen! 😁🏸

Hi vedhika
Hi coach, which model racket are you using in this video? Which string model and what tension do you put in general?
I use Yonex Nanoflare 700 & Yonex Arc Saber FB (flash boost) interchangeably. I like both because they are light weight in my opinion. Deceptive shots is a habit some players do often, when done so the key to getting those shots is not to move in anticipation & instead move with a quick reaction when opponent has executed their shot😁🏸

Hi Rama! Making a training program should be suited for a particular player or group of players. What they specifically need & normally the coach makes the program based on what the player needs to improve on😁
I need to improve -- steping , smash ,speed ,strength and power
Work on 1 or 2 points of weaknesses that u feel u want to focus on then move to the next area you want to improve... 🏸🏸
How to improve backhand shot?
I have 2 previous videos on backhand. For backhand smash th-cam.com/video/uv1yI9FNyvI/w-d-xo.html and for backhand clear its th-cam.com/video/7ey-Ub0yVWQ/w-d-xo.html check it out. But actual practice is the key in strengthening that backhand. 😁🏸

Mam i am unable to rotate my wrist properly please tell me a way to master it
Your wrist should be relaxed when u hit net shots plus it is controlled with only small movements in front. But for other shots the wrist is important. You can do wrist curls with dumbells to strengthen! 😁🏸
