Big fan of the channel! I use National Car Rental a decent amount, so it's always very informative/entertaining to see the fleet availability and what kinds of cars I can expect to see when I go in person. Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback. That's awesome you had a chance to drive the Alfa. I was actually thinking about doing an exchange into the white one in the video but I hesitated a minute or two and when I walked back someone was already loading their luggage into it. Lol!
Thanks for mentioning that. You are right I totally forgot to do Enterprise and just did the Exotics as Enterprise has a row or two to the left of that. I'll make sure to catch that in my next update.
the Best car at the Choiceline its the Cadilliac XT5 & XT6 :) Thank you so much for your Video :) I am so happy to know to find my Lovely Car if I come back on May to Miami :)
Another great video. I dropped off a white grand Cherokee around 5pm on 15th March. You could well have been there around similar time. I remember seeing the convertible Camaro SS in the Alamo section. What you thought was a r/t challanger may just have been a GT spec v6. They have had a few of them lately. Not much better than bad but come with bigger wheels.
@Dave Ward small world I was indeed there around 5pm on March 15th filming part of this video (other parts later in the week) and left in the Audi A5. Look for a video review of that black Camaro SS you spotted at Alamo coming to the channel as about a week later it showed up in the Executive aisle and I couldn't believe it and grabbed it on a new contract at the midsize rate. The Dodge Challenger in the thumbnail and at 13:22 with the Cinastick bronze colour was definitely an R/T. A video tour coming to the channel down the road also. I have seen a few GT AWD V6 Spec Challengers and also non-GT base model V6 Challengers with the upgraded wheels. So definitely need to check for the Hemi badging on the side and the R/T in the grill beside the headlights to know if you get the V8.
Hey love the channel. Next time you’re in southern california can you take a look and see what years and how the interiors look on a Cayenne and RR sport. Just curious to see if they’re worth the money to upgrade
Thanks for the feedback. Sure thing will do next time I'm out there. If the license plate of one is visible in one of my cars at National LAX videos you might be able to get an idea of how old they are. The new cars have license plates starting with "8Z". A plate starting with 8Y would also be a newer plate but likely would have some mileage on it maybe 5-15K. Once you start going down the alphabet (8U, 8R, 8K etc, they get a lot older).
Thanks for the feedback I really appreciate it. Look for a National video coming out next week from FLL where I take a quick peek inside a Cayenne over at Enterprise. Interior was in great shape and I think it was around 16k miles. Also a surprise coming with an appearance of a sports car I’ve never seen up for rent at the major rental companies yet.
You will need Executive or Executive Elite status to take something from the executive isle with National. If you have status in another car rental program or hotel or airline you might be able to do a status match to National Executive status in the Emerald club. That Stelvio looked pretty awesome!
If ur ever in San Jose California Could you checkout budget, hertz and Avis? Have a areservation in late April 2022 Thanks Awesome channel. This is really good and gives an idea of the actual rental place and cars available
Thanks for the feedback. I was near San Jose earlier this year and wish I had taken a video at the time. Next time I'm in the area I'll definitely stop by. In the meantime you might want to take a look at my SFO videos for Hertz and Avis as the fleets are likely similar. Hertz: th-cam.com/video/dJrsXoCIDF0/w-d-xo.html Avis: th-cam.com/video/QPSu2dqIKlM/w-d-xo.html
@@CarRentalGuy awesome, yes I had watched them already. Based on ur experiences does it seem like the car rental companies are getting more inventory and as the year progresses? And any tips on how to score a free upgrade? I got my care rental thru Costco vacation hotel package. Do they give u less room for upgrade?
Thanks for these videos, they are great! How is the minivan availability usually on the executive/emerald isles? I'm coming in may and hoping snag one.
It really is the luck of the draw. I would say generally not to expect a minivan in the isle at the Miami location. On the other hand I was there on a monday night recently and there were a couple in the isle. (You'll see these once I put together the April update for Miami video). If you need a minivan the best thing is to reserve one. If there is one in the isle when you show up you can always downgrade your reservation to a midsize or ask them to adjust it at the gate.
Thanks for your new video! Did u also take a look at the Hertz PC aisle? Or when will u be there for the next time? Your decision to comment your videos is good! 👏
Thanks for the feedback. I hope to update my Miami videos soon. In the meantime you can look at the Hertz video here. th-cam.com/video/Jm1rPo9qjok/w-d-xo.html
Cool, the red Highlander at 12:00 and another at 13:07. Don't think I've seen one of those in the isle in a long time. Oh wow another one the limited at 14:37 has a dealer decal on the back. Great catch! I'll look for that in future videos :)
I found a couple photos from November at Burbank airport. Enterprise had a Lincoln Aviator, 2 x Volvo S60, 2 x Mustang convertibles and a Infiniti Q50, red Dodge Challenger with black rims, white Dodge Challenger aluminum rims. Hertz Presidents Circle had a Hemi Dodge Charger and a Ford Fusion.
@Christian Szybisty Which airport are you flying into? The selection really varies depending on what day you arrive. Hopefully more cars will be around in June and the car shortage will be less of an issue. It's also not peak season in June so there should be more cars. I would also suggest considering renting with National. You can status match your Presidents Circle status to National Executive and choose any car in the isle. I think you'll find National has much better customer service. Good luck. And if you are renting out of Miami with Hertz look forward to an updated video coming this week. Maybe even tomorrow.
@@CarRentalGuy im arrive at the burbank airport on june 7. Yes hopefully there will be more selection of cars. I got a great price at hertz, only reason im not renting at National. Look forward in viewing your next video!

Hello great video! Would be nice if you can do a video at the hertz hollywood burbank airport. enjoy your videos!
Great suggestion! I have been to National at BUR will have to check if I took any video or maybe just photos at the time.

0:09 that F-Type
Is there anything other than Chrysler in the minivans?
Now that I think of it I don't think I've seen anything else.
Sure enough shortly after my reply I spotted the first sighting of a Toyota Sienna Hybrid at Hertz which will be in an upcoming video soon.
Very very very rare to see a Alfa Romeo in the rental car fleet
