There are people out there today that get high they drink all the time, and never do anything. When I see a person that admits this usage I admire your enthusiasm. I see how you are doing something great in your life. I admire this. I admire your effort, and your discipline. 😊

You know. You get to a certain age as an artist, like myself, and you work quietly in your studio. You have gone beyond the thought, the desire to be recognised and celebrated, you are your own champion. So, you work in your private space doing some of the best work you believe you have done and then you think....my best work will go unnoticed. Now, are you still of an age when that thought bothers you or are you beyond it and all that is important is to create for your own self? This artist is beyond that point, at my age (63) I am still wanting validation but much less than last year!

15 minutes of pure gold in my very humble opinion, his thoughts and general philosophies (which felt like looking into some kind of mirror because I couldn't agree more with so much of what was expressed) honestly have helped me visualize even more a life of my own making my silly art. thank u John i adore your art and brain Lol

Wow....that was the most intense profound interview with an artist that I've listened to ! Loved the music as well and that bit on drinking only while making art...
