Oh my goodness, I wish I would’ve seen this video 6 or 7 bras ago lol. I literally have every single item you used to make the repairs in my house as we speak. Thank you so much for this information I will definitely be using it moving forward, as I only wear underwire bras. Thanks again this is much appreciated
Lol, me too! I even stopped washing them in the machine, even in those delicate bags, on the delicate cycle. I now wash them all by hand. I've always let them air dry, but this would still happen occasionally so I had to come and see if anyone found a solution to this!

@@marythefairy1159 is the silicone soft and rubbery? My hot glue gun is for a hard type of glue which sets with sharp points. I think it must be different to yours.
I use super glue then cover the super glue with a dap of hot glue. The super glue stays scratcy feeling against the skin. or i will cover the super glue by sewing over it, the thread will cover the super glue. I normally do it to all my bras before i even wear them just to prevent the wire from popping out.

I thought to do this years ago and it ruined clothes. I wash and dry my bras, the dryer heat melted the glue and damaged other clothes. Use this method at your own risk.
Try super glue, thats what works for me. I found my way here looking for a easier way than what i do now. After the super glue sets cover it with hot glue because the super glue can be scratchy. And you probably already know not to put your bra in the dryer but just in case dont put your bra in the dryer.

Do you put your bras in the dryer? That might be why.. Mine only break after about 2-4 years
For us fuller busted gals I would use 1/4 or 3/8 wide ribbon hand sewn over the hole.

Yes Mary, it'll work. Just be sure to press the seam when it's still warm so it can seal REALLY WELL! Let it cool completely before wearing it.
It does work, unfortunately it doesn't last forever and after half a year I had to do it again

What about when you go to wash it? Does the glue hold up?
Deanna Iglesias Ive tried it, glue comes off if you use hot water, id suggest to wash them in cold water or to gentle hand wash.
No, the glue doesn't hold up. I've tried hand stitching the hole closed and it lasts longer than hot glue
