I am a seventy year old female who was raised in a mixed Christian household (mother Catholic, Father Italian! Baptist because my Grandmother had it out with the priest in her village in Italy. My father played by the rules and took the Catholic class to marry and I was promised to the Catholic Church. ) But we went to both houses of worship 🫢 so I experienced that there was more than one way to be in religion. Then I married my husband who was of the Jewish lineage, (more Queens NY cultural than religious.) Then I was introduced to Kundalini Yoga, studied the Bhagavad Gita, practiced mantra, Wazifas, Dances of Universal Peace, took a course (Living our Purpose )that morphed into our present day Tree of Life Interfaith Temple and ‘Seminary’. We spring from the ancient knowledge and wisdom of the Mystics and sages who had the initial connect with the One Source who brought forth the beginnings of each religion. That’s my story. 😊
Talking about the opulence in the Vatican city. I asked a catholic priest why he lived in such luxury when I dropped by his home next to a church to give him something. Persian carpets, rich wall paneling, gold accents, exquisite antique furniture. He said because they do not make a vow of poverty which they force the nuns to make. Those were the times when I finally convinced myself Jesus and the church are not on the same wavelength. I did not have to believe in the church to be a good person. It actually freed me.
You don't have to live in poverty to be a good person,,I'm sure these TH-camrs aren't preaching the message on their monetized channels that you have to live in poverty to be good person,,maybe helping the people that live in poverty.What is a good or bad person anyway? There are people,that do good things and bad things,who have had good and bad experiences that lead to making good and bad choices,people who aren't fit to pass judgement on others,people who may have made the same decision if they had led the same life.
I felt the exact same thing when I went to the Vatican. We were poor when we arrived in the US, both my parents worked in factories and had 5 kids, I remember them arguing about having to give money in the envelope for the church. They would send them annually for them to take monthly. Yet as an adult I go to the Vatican and see all the Gold , art, and costumes the priests wear (VERY EXPENSIVE!!) even the Vatican police are dressed in glory. Yet their followers starving all over the world. I am sure Jesus sheds tears when he looks down at this.
I learned at an early age that there was something wrong with religion One part was love and forgiveness yet the other side said God would judge you and punish you. I understood that they were only controlling the masses. Now I have a belief system that treasures love and acceptance
i remember a dream where i was coming back like to books but i couldn't remember which chapter in which book i needed to slip into, live out. i dreamt a voice told me he had left a message for me on the ceiling. i was to The Sistine Chapal 1977 and missed so much. I later noticed all the gold in my souvenir book as it was surrounding the Dove which i had my vision of. i said you got to be kidding. It's worth that much. i quess maybe it is . peace and all. The astrological degree 20 taurus, my sign, is "Dove over troubled water." My sun is so close! Was that something to experience or to develop or the The luck of the draw. In art class my hand shook when he put a spinning wheel there to draw. There really is So much. Digesting. 80 years of life and we are moving forward and told to hold back its not quite time, another month. When Ai is supposed to free us up that's what they said about washing machines etc. i especially was happy with the explanation of brakes will be put on by the action and counter action. I was raised in Orthodox Judaism, a rabbi’s daughter and rabbinic family. I went to religious schools until public High School, then Yeshiva University (Orthodox Jewish). I spent a year living and working on a religious Kibbutz in Israel. At age 21 I reached a turning point, feeling like a truth seeker wanting to experience other cultures and religions from actual experience. I’m grateful for a silent meditation practice that brought the deeper mystical level which can take us to the universal level of love and kindness and peaceful activism, so important to who I am. Experience within Christianity and Sufism and especially Buddhism and the Hindu Yogis- has truly enriched my spirituality and life journey. Doing Inner healing and recovery from trauma and abuse in childhood helps me to offer healing to others. I continue to feel inspired and grateful. I write articles and encourage people along the way. I came back from my NDE because I had young children who needed me, but even though I survived life as I knew it was over. A couple of years later my life was unrecognizable. I mentioned my NDE right when I came back and got shut down and not until my son transitioned 15 years later did I ever talk about it again. It was a profound help to me to know where he went and that it was a wonderful place and knowing that he was still with me was such a gift.

Thank you for creating an atmosphere where we can have these conversations. My entire life I was told who I should pray to and worship and whenever I asked that dreaded "why" questions they just spout back vague dogma or scripture to me as if it answered the question. This is why I no longer resonate with religion and embraced spirituality because WE are the one's who create our own reality. I want to have a relationship with the creator who actually created me not the ones human created.

Wow! There are some parallels there to my own life. I do feel sometimes religion helps break things down and organize stuff and for some that’s how they find God.
When did the great cathedrals and palaces get built in the world? 1609’s to1700’s? Even in America there were intricate buildings in different states that were claimed to have been built in as little as 1-2 yrs. So the time line is a little off because it is said there is no way we could build them today.. for instance the building in San Diego Balboa tower that was renamed and Reno’d this world is really older and other civilization s built these buildings .. what about that… in the 1800’s all we were building was hotels and saloons stick homes not intricate brick carved.. there is a lot that’s wrong.
Religions cause conflict between religions and many are based on fear and money. Catholic religion puts priests bewtween us and God. This was so wrong to me....even as a child. Soeaking in Latin and not having a clue what we were saying. In our church a priest went to jail for abusing young alter boys. These things are so bad.
I was driving, my husband next to me. I started feeling very sick, clammy and faint. We were on the interstate, stop and go traffic. I said babe, we gotta swap. I feel really bad. He said ok. I put the car in park as traffic was currently stopped. He said no baby, not right here this isn't safe. He wanted me to complete about a quarter mile where there was roadside. We were on a bridge. With my left hand i held my face and leaned against the window. My next memory was a loud thud in my head. Then i was peacefully speedily gliding through a serene darkness. It was a fantastic feeling. I didn't question it, I was just moving through a peace. Then i hear my husbands voice distantly yelling. Somebody call 911!!!! I'm still gliding in the best feeling ever, but i thought, hmmm 911? Who's hurt? Then I realized I couldn't see anything. It was dark. Oh my gosh it's me, but I don't feel hurt. Then I realized I had to put on the brakes and stop flying through this darkness. It felt like I actually skidded to a stop. Then I was hovering but looking every direction and seeing nothing. I turned the other way and headed back. That was like going against the wind that took me there. It was a complete battle as it pushed me backwards. I knew I was getting closer because I could hear more and more voices of people who were thinking I was dead. As I heard that I was dead. It was like no way....I gotta get back in my body! Then I could hear everything around me. It was like lifting a thousand pounds to move my hand to acknowledge I was back. I opened my eyes to see my car in front of me and remembered I had babies. I started to panic. Everyone was ok. But my foot left the brake and I had hit the car in front of me two or three bumps before my husband got the car in park. He came around to help me. He said I didn't look right but I cooperated to get out and started to walk when I fell and hit my head. I believe the light/lights/tunnel was just around the corner. I just know that the peace I was in, was amazing.
it used to be so hard to find like minded people and resources about these topics. I found Next Level Soul about 2 years ago and so many of his guests I now follow as well. I am so happy to have so many different facets to approach these topics from. It has been so awesome to watch us all gather and share and increase since 1980 when I first started searching. A great discussion gentlemen. I was introduced to meditation 18 years ago. I was shunned 12 years ago after a loss of a child questioning where/why/who God is, trying to heal the pain and hollowness. More than 12 years now, none of my family talking to me. My 16y.o son is settled with that so long his not pushed to do the 5 pillars. He doesn't believe in God. I taught him to love and respect himself and others. Alex, I love your content channel, and we are one and having our human experience. I am constantly reminding myself of shedding the EGO. The separation between humanity makes sense to divide and concur. I believe souls are WAKING UP from a deep sleep. Love and togetherness wil shine. Keep up the great podcast!.❤❤❤❤

Thank you Amrit and Alex for this wonderful interview. Amrit, you asked what we think about religion/ spirituality. I have always felt connected to Spirit right from childhood. I was raised Christian (Lutheran) and loved Jesus - and still do- and feel a stronger connection to him more than ever. But during covid I began listening to spiritual discussions on TH-cam and attending church services stopped. And strangely I felt a sense of spiritual freedom during this time of isolation. For me, adherence to one specific religious denomination felt like I was confining my spirituality inside a box. And the freedom to explore other spiritual concepts was so appealing, interesting and inspiring. Alex, you and your “show” is a definite favourite. I love what you said in this interview about finding the spiritual path / song that sings to you. And for me spirituality has become like a beautiful tapestry that I am creating that is unique to me - as I blend the beautiful teachings that resonate with me. So thank you both for your offerings and helping us all come to a greater awareness of our amazing connection to God, to our world and our universe- and to each other. 🙏🙏. There’s a saying shared at the end of some 12 Step meetings - “Take what you like and leave the rest”. Or said another way- separate the wheat from the chaff. The shift I can’t miss at my age is as Alex says “ coming out of the closet” , this info always been present & applicable whilst unacceptable to speak, called truth telling… Yes Alex has interviewed every type of spiritual master yet not those highly evolved spiritual beings still undergoing transition of acceptance into settlement type lifestyle, they the hunter gatherer Australian First Nations indigenous ppl…If this conversation could be achieved there be a complete present day opposite to compare… considering these ppls spiritual journey with the longest lineage known to us, many would dearly love to hear that conversation
I connected to Jesus, and I asked him. What is church? He said that he never created church because he said that God is within us and all around us. United as one. I could never find what I was looking for in the church. My mother changed churches all the time looking for the word, and it was right inside her. Love ❤ And by the way to many commercials when he is giving a great message for all. 😮🤔
You're speaking truth. Jesus traveled and spread the word. Many people attend church to hide their dark parts, as well, I have seen many pick and chose which rules to follow. Our own true heart is the way. Blessings to you on your path. 🙋♀️

Flat earth? Where are the scenic overlooks? Ha ha! Also raised Catholic and went to Catholic for a couple of years. During religion class in first grade, the young nun Sister Mary Jesus was preparing us for first communion. She attempted to explain we would be full of grace, so much so that it poured out of us. I was terrified!!! I envisioned a clear, thick substance oozing from the top of my head😮! I expressed my fear and she very kindly pit my mind at ease. During the same class, she expressed her excitement for soon being married to Jesus and explained that she would then have a wedding band. In my little brain, I could not understand why she would marry someone who is invisible. I kept that thought to myself, ha ha ha! Well I too am a recovering Catholic pretty much since fourth grade. Thank you for all you do.

I have encouraged my kids to explore different beliefs, religions, etc but always tell them it's important for them to find what is true for them. I had religion and fear shoved down my throat, and questioning any of it was not received well. I'm so happy to see the progress we are making. Thanks guys!
I wish I had been so wise. I think your approach is gaining ground. My kids are now adults, and it's all working out. Nothing takes the place of freedom.
@@patsylvest so many generations have just forced their beliefs and fears onto others, even though they only believe what was forced on them. I think fear is the wrong approach for one, but also it's important to find what really resonates with your soul, you can have a much deeper more meaningful experience in life.
Do not forget that we have, and are still destroying this planet...and must roll up our sleeves, not just spiritually, but also physically. Always be humble enough to be awake and understand about the Big Work ahead. I am a huge fan myself, but guys beware of assumptions. Always. Your channels are powerful, so with that comes huge responsibility.
That reminds me of something our spiritual teacher told us in the Seventies. She told us of a family where the mother was so obsessed with spiritual growth, attended all meetings, read all books and spoke and lectured herself on spirituality while she left her two children alone and when the father came home had first to go out grocery shopping because there was nothing in the house but candles and incense. They eventually divorced. Now we have genocide being committed in Gaza while we speak with Archangels.

This is my first time to listen to you Amrit but I have listened to Alex many times. I was raised Catholic and did the Catholic grade school. Although I possibly have several decades ahead of you in earth years (my humor) I realized very early on that the Church did not resonate, make sense or whatever words best describe my disconnect. It was the crazy 60's and 70's and I did submerge in the sex, drugs, rock and roll. I ran away from my dysfunctional family and ended up in Hawaii. In 1984 I went into treatment and I have been clean and sober since then. I love these types of shows and I feel like I will end up happy, joyous and free, which is an AA term. These are exciting times and I have absolute faith that we will overcome the darkness that lurks. Many blessings to all of us.❤🙏💜

It's not funny at all when I see how social network affects a lot of people from the very beginning. Especially in the field of spirituality, a great spiritual ego can be detected. While listening to various podcasts and seeing on different social media I came across, the new hit saying that we are God. The idea that we are all God is presented, but in my opinion misrepresented, in the context of The God! I wonder how ignorant people are? This concept that you are God is true from the side of Self-realization/God-realization, which is a spiritual process that an individual experiences or realized through a deep spiritual experience, where the individual's personal consciousness (ego) dissolves into the Self or Universal consciousness, which last forever. But when people who identify with personal consciousness (indoctrination from birth until now) claim to be God, they are delusional. All I can say is that they are part of God, but not The God. All material nature is part of God and is in a constant process of change, comes and goes, dies and is reborn. Here comes the question, “Is this the true purpose of mankind to run like a hamster in a cage where the wheel is?” God-realised beings are free from karma, they may live in this world yet not be from it, the rest are in the game of recycling and they will do that until they reach God-realization.
During the “dark ages” I think there was a renaissance-type situation in Cordova, Spain under a Berber caliphate and had peace among religions. Just depends where you are I guess

The reason things like spirituality is out in the open today is because we have stuff like you tube platforms we can discuss them on. We are becoming more spiritual because our world is becoming more fake., more lonely etc. I envy the dead because they now have the answers. Before that we will never find out, really. God just expects us to live out this world and then when we pass on, we will find out the truth, not before, never before. NDEs are just a glimpse, nothing really.

Have been enjoying Alex for a year now… now I have another great podcaster to follow! Gave up organized religion decades ago, but discovered Unitarian Universalists that made sense to me. It is good to find local connections with like-minded people in person when I want to attend UU “services”. They believe in the interdependent web of all existence and have many “reformed Catholics” as members. 😊Podcasts are fun but sometimes you just have to hug someone!
So the only thing I’m really confused about is there are multi dimensions that we live in, how is our higher conscious split up into all our other bodies in every dimension we reside in? Is that even possible to split up our higher self? BTW, love Alex! Am a longtime viewer of his!

Hi, My name is Kathy, and I’m also a recovering Catholic. I’ve listened to Alex and his guests (and I looked them up.) long enough that I understand the things Alex is saying. So amazing! I also taught mythology and many of the characters that are now considered real. I was never good at science nor math, but now I’m fascinated with sacred geometry, the pyramids, etc. I’ve meditated since I was 16, and I’m 69 now and it saddens me that I don’t have enough health nor time to learn everything I want to know. I don’t have the money to do past life regressions, due to current Lyme infections and past chronic illnesses from different overlapping pathogens that hit me hard 21 years ago. I have had MANY mini-miracles in my life, along with alien dreams. Those were interesting! Does it count as an NDE if you stopped breathing on the table during an operation and had to be revived? No one ever speaks to me and i would be spiritual classification starseed, or light worker, or chosen one. But i cannot be around any ppl: even my own kind with overexcitabilities. No one understands and ppl are mean to me for no reason!!! Only one special 160IQ and 140IQ could understand me to some point, that 160IQ came close. But we are trapped inside our own minds: you cannot share qualia using metaphorical language. I Am so existentially isolated it has been tremendous suffering my whole life. It is like i cannot even share 0.0001%+ with anyone and even if i did they would call me crazy/delusional... No one would ever believe me! What is the point gifted fail in unprecedented rates and never to get to power! Free will is also illusion. I don't believe this and new age spirituality is just cope, even spirituality itself is fine: it just doesn't add up!!!

I am a seventy year old female who was raised in a mixed Christian household (mother Catholic, Father Italian! Baptist because my Grandmother had it out with the priest in her village in Italy. My father played by the rules and took the Catholic class to marry and I was promised to the Catholic Church. ) But we went to both houses of worship 🫢 so I experienced that there was more than one way to be in religion. Then I married my husband who was of the Jewish lineage, (more Queens NY cultural than religious.) Then I was introduced to Kundalini Yoga, studied the Bhagavad Gita, practiced mantra, Wazifas, Dances of Universal Peace, took a course (Living our Purpose )that morphed into our present day Tree of Life Interfaith Temple and ‘Seminary’. We spring from the ancient knowledge and wisdom of the Mystics and sages who had the initial connect with the One Source who brought forth the beginnings of each religion. That’s my story. 😊

Talking about the opulence in the Vatican city. I asked a catholic priest why he lived in such luxury when I dropped by his home next to a church to give him something. Persian carpets, rich wall paneling, gold accents, exquisite antique furniture. He said because they do not make a vow of poverty which they force the nuns to make. Those were the times when I finally convinced myself Jesus and the church are not on the same wavelength. I did not have to believe in the church to be a good person. It actually freed me.

There are people,that do good things and bad things,who have had good and bad experiences that lead to making good and bad choices,people who aren't fit to pass judgement on others,people who may have made the same decision if they had led the same life.

Nuns are maids. The patriarchy is very much part of religion.
I felt the exact same thing when I went to the Vatican. We were poor when we arrived in the US, both my parents worked in factories and had 5 kids, I remember them arguing about having to give money in the envelope for the church. They would send them annually for them to take monthly. Yet as an adult I go to the Vatican and see all the Gold , art, and costumes the priests wear (VERY EXPENSIVE!!) even the Vatican police are dressed in glory. Yet their followers starving all over the world. I am sure Jesus sheds tears when he looks down at this.
I learned at an early age that there was something wrong with religion One part was love and forgiveness yet the other side said God would judge you and punish you. I understood that they were only controlling the masses. Now I have a belief system that treasures love and acceptance

i remember a dream where i was coming back like to books but i couldn't remember which chapter in which book i needed to slip into, live out.
i dreamt a voice told me he had left a message for me on the ceiling. i was to The Sistine Chapal 1977 and missed so much. I later noticed all the gold in my souvenir book as it was surrounding the Dove which i had my vision of. i said you got to be kidding. It's worth that much. i quess maybe it is . peace and all.
The astrological degree 20 taurus, my sign, is "Dove over troubled water." My sun is so close! Was that something to experience or to develop or the The luck of the draw. In art class my hand shook when he put a spinning wheel there to draw. There really is So much. Digesting. 80 years of life and we are moving forward and told to hold back its not quite time, another month.

I was raised in Orthodox Judaism, a rabbi’s daughter and rabbinic family. I went to religious schools until public High School, then Yeshiva University (Orthodox Jewish). I spent a year living and working on a religious Kibbutz in Israel. At age 21 I reached a turning point, feeling like a truth seeker wanting to experience other cultures and religions from actual experience. I’m grateful for a silent meditation practice that brought the deeper mystical level which can take us to the universal level of love and kindness and peaceful activism, so important to who I am. Experience within Christianity and Sufism and especially Buddhism and the Hindu Yogis- has truly enriched my spirituality and life journey. Doing Inner healing and recovery from trauma and abuse in childhood helps me to offer healing to others. I continue to feel inspired and grateful. I write articles and encourage people along the way. I came back from my NDE because I had young children who needed me, but even though I survived life as I knew it was over. A couple of years later my life was unrecognizable. I mentioned my NDE right when I came back and got shut down and not until my son transitioned 15 years later did I ever talk about it again. It was a profound help to me to know where he went and that it was a wonderful place and knowing that he was still with me was such a gift.

Thank you for creating an atmosphere where we can have these conversations. My entire life I was told who I should pray to and worship and whenever I asked that dreaded "why" questions they just spout back vague dogma or scripture to me as if it answered the question.
This is why I no longer resonate with religion and embraced spirituality because WE are the one's who create our own reality. I want to have a relationship with the creator who actually created me not the ones human created.

Studied Rosicrucians, Gnostics & Hermeticism after that, felt attracted to Buddhism, then became interested in Hinduism & Sufism. After sharing my husband's death in Hospice I became a trained medium & channeler and come home now to spirituality. Nature spirits & ET's in other dimensions ALL KNOW there is only ONE GODSOURCE. Wow! There are some parallels there to my own life. I do feel sometimes religion helps break things down and organize stuff and for some that’s how they find God.

When did the great cathedrals and palaces get built in the world? 1609’s to1700’s? Even in America there were intricate buildings in different states that were claimed to have been built in as little as 1-2 yrs. So the time line is a little off because it is said there is no way we could build them today.. for instance the building in San Diego Balboa tower that was renamed and Reno’d this world is really older and other civilization s built these buildings .. what about that… in the 1800’s all we were building was hotels and saloons stick homes not intricate brick carved.. there is a lot that’s wrong.
Religions cause conflict between religions and many are based on fear and money. Catholic religion puts priests bewtween us and God. This was so wrong to me....even as a child. Soeaking in Latin and not having a clue what we were saying. In our church a priest went to jail for abusing young alter boys. These things are so bad.

I was driving, my husband next to me. I started feeling very sick, clammy and faint. We were on the interstate, stop and go traffic. I said babe, we gotta swap. I feel really bad. He said ok. I put the car in park as traffic was currently stopped. He said no baby, not right here this isn't safe. He wanted me to complete about a quarter mile where there was roadside. We were on a bridge. With my left hand i held my face and leaned against the window. My next memory was a loud thud in my head. Then i was peacefully speedily gliding through a serene darkness. It was a fantastic feeling. I didn't question it, I was just moving through a peace. Then i hear my husbands voice distantly yelling. Somebody call 911!!!! I'm still gliding in the best feeling ever, but i thought, hmmm 911? Who's hurt? Then I realized I couldn't see anything. It was dark. Oh my gosh it's me, but I don't feel hurt. Then I realized I had to put on the brakes and stop flying through this darkness. It felt like I actually skidded to a stop. Then I was hovering but looking every direction and seeing nothing. I turned the other way and headed back. That was like going against the wind that took me there. It was a complete battle as it pushed me backwards. I knew I was getting closer because I could hear more and more voices of people who were thinking I was dead. As I heard that I was dead. It was like no way....I gotta get back in my body! Then I could hear everything around me. It was like lifting a thousand pounds to move my hand to acknowledge I was back. I opened my eyes to see my car in front of me and remembered I had babies. I started to panic. Everyone was ok. But my foot left the brake and I had hit the car in front of me two or three bumps before my husband got the car in park. He came around to help me. He said I didn't look right but I cooperated to get out and started to walk when I fell and hit my head. I believe the light/lights/tunnel was just around the corner. I just know that the peace I was in, was amazing.

A great discussion gentlemen. I was introduced to meditation 18 years ago. I was shunned 12 years ago after a loss of a child questioning where/why/who God is, trying to heal the pain and hollowness. More than 12 years now, none of my family talking to me. My 16y.o son is settled with that so long his not pushed to do the 5 pillars. He doesn't believe in God. I taught him to love and respect himself and others. Alex, I love your content channel, and we are one and having our human experience. I am constantly reminding myself of shedding the EGO. The separation between humanity makes sense to divide and concur. I believe souls are WAKING UP from a deep sleep. Love and togetherness wil shine. Keep up the great podcast!.❤❤❤❤

Thank you Amrit and Alex for this wonderful interview. Amrit, you asked what we think about religion/ spirituality. I have always felt connected to Spirit right from childhood. I was raised Christian (Lutheran) and loved Jesus - and still do- and feel a stronger connection to him more than ever. But during covid I began listening to spiritual discussions on TH-cam and attending church services stopped. And strangely I felt a sense of spiritual freedom during this time of isolation. For me, adherence to one specific religious denomination felt like I was confining my spirituality inside a box. And the freedom to explore other spiritual concepts was so appealing, interesting and inspiring. Alex, you and your “show” is a definite favourite. I love what you said in this interview about finding the spiritual path / song that sings to you. And for me spirituality has become like a beautiful tapestry that I am creating that is unique to me - as I blend the beautiful teachings that resonate with me. So thank you both for your offerings and helping us all come to a greater awareness of our amazing connection to God, to our world and our universe- and to each other. 🙏🙏. There’s a saying shared at the end of some 12 Step meetings - “Take what you like and leave the rest”. Or said another way- separate the wheat from the chaff. Flat earth? Where are the scenic overlooks? Ha ha! Also raised Catholic and went to Catholic for a couple of years. During religion class in first grade, the young nun Sister Mary Jesus was preparing us for first communion. She attempted to explain we would be full of grace, so much so that it poured out of us. I was terrified!!! I envisioned a clear, thick substance oozing from the top of my head😮! I expressed my fear and she very kindly pit my mind at ease. During the same class, she expressed her excitement for soon being married to Jesus and explained that she would then have a wedding band. In my little brain, I could not understand why she would marry someone who is invisible. I kept that thought to myself, ha ha ha! Well I too am a recovering Catholic pretty much since fourth grade. Thank you for all you do.

I have encouraged my kids to explore different beliefs, religions, etc but always tell them it's important for them to find what is true for them. I had religion and fear shoved down my throat, and questioning any of it was not received well. I'm so happy to see the progress we are making. Thanks guys!

I think fear is the wrong approach for one, but also it's important to find what really resonates with your soul, you can have a much deeper more meaningful experience in life.

That reminds me of something our spiritual teacher told us in the Seventies. She told us of a family where the mother was so obsessed with spiritual growth, attended all meetings, read all books and spoke and lectured herself on spirituality while she left her two children alone and when the father came home had first to go out grocery shopping because there was nothing in the house but candles and incense. They eventually divorced.
Now we have genocide being committed in Gaza while we speak with Archangels.

This is my first time to listen to you Amrit but I have listened to Alex many times. I was raised Catholic and did the Catholic grade school. Although I possibly have several decades ahead of you in earth years (my humor) I realized very early on that the Church did not resonate, make sense or whatever words best describe my disconnect. It was the crazy 60's and 70's and I did submerge in the sex, drugs, rock and roll. I ran away from my dysfunctional family and ended up in Hawaii. In 1984 I went into treatment and I have been clean and sober since then. I love these types of shows and I feel like I will end up happy, joyous and free, which is an AA term. These are exciting times and I have absolute faith that we will overcome the darkness that lurks. Many blessings to all of us.❤🙏💜

It's not funny at all when I see how social network affects a lot of people from the very beginning. Especially in the field of spirituality, a great spiritual ego can be detected. While listening to various podcasts and seeing on different social media I came across, the new hit saying that we are God. The idea that we are all God is presented, but in my opinion misrepresented, in the context of The God!
I wonder how ignorant people are? This concept that you are God is true from the side of Self-realization/God-realization, which is a spiritual process that an individual experiences or realized through a deep spiritual experience, where the individual's personal consciousness (ego) dissolves into the Self or Universal consciousness, which last forever. But when people who identify with personal consciousness (indoctrination from birth until now) claim to be God, they are delusional. All I can say is that they are part of God, but not The God. All material nature is part of God and is in a constant process of change, comes and goes, dies and is reborn. Here comes the question, “Is this the true purpose of mankind to run like a hamster in a cage where the wheel is?” God-realised beings are free from karma, they may live in this world yet not be from it, the rest are in the game of recycling and they will do that until they reach God-realization.
Re meditation. Many people that I knew were meditating in the sixties.
During the “dark ages” I think there was a renaissance-type situation in Cordova, Spain under a Berber caliphate and had peace among religions. Just depends where you are I guess

The reason things like spirituality is out in the open today is because we have stuff like you tube platforms we can discuss them on. We are becoming more spiritual because our world is becoming more fake., more lonely etc. I envy the dead because they now have the answers. Before that we will never find out, really. God just expects us to live out this world and then when we pass on, we will find out the truth, not before, never before. NDEs are just a glimpse, nothing really.
Alex love your shows the many spiritual beings you have on are fasinating and truth.. They speak the same , but in different words but relay the same message.. love it.. so interesting.. you are on the right path Alex keep going and look to the universe and God for inspiration!

Thank you for opening your hearts and minds to me and everybody else touched by your sharing. In return I would like to share a reflection and a wondering. The language used in the podcast is (I believe aimed to be) very inclusive i.e. "everyone, humans, world". However, the beauty of the world is unity in diversity. I live in India and the vibrations of the conversation here are different, yet resonating... Language is vibration and energy. How can we chose our words to adapt and tap into "everybody" if this is truly what we seek to achieve?

Have been enjoying Alex for a year now… now I have another great podcaster to follow! Gave up organized religion decades ago, but discovered Unitarian Universalists that made sense to me. It is good to find local connections with like-minded people in person when I want to attend UU “services”. They believe in the interdependent web of all existence and have many “reformed Catholics” as members. 😊Podcasts are fun but sometimes you just have to hug someone!
I like hearing Alex's podcasts....I'm a 68 year old cradle Catholic and I love my faith...it's so enriching and rewarding to me.
So the only thing I’m really confused about is there are multi dimensions that we live in, how is our higher conscious split up into all our other bodies in every dimension we reside in? Is that even possible to split up our higher self? BTW, love Alex! Am a longtime viewer of his!

Hi, My name is Kathy, and I’m also a recovering Catholic. I’ve listened to Alex and his guests (and I looked them up.) long enough that I understand the things Alex is saying. So amazing! I also taught mythology and many of the characters that are now considered real. I was never good at science nor math, but now I’m fascinated with sacred geometry, the pyramids, etc.
I’ve meditated since I was 16, and I’m 69 now and it saddens me that I don’t have enough health nor time to learn everything I want to know. I don’t have the money to do past life regressions, due to current Lyme infections and past chronic illnesses from different overlapping pathogens that hit me hard 21 years ago.
I have had MANY mini-miracles in my life, along with alien dreams. Those were interesting!
Does it count as an NDE if you stopped breathing on the table during an operation and had to be revived? I don’t remember anything, so I suppose not.

I have been watching Next Level Soul for over a year, and I am enjoying this interview. It brings together all the other interviews that Alex had on his shows, which makes total sense to my beliefs.

No one ever speaks to me and i would be spiritual classification starseed, or light worker, or chosen one. But i cannot be around any ppl: even my own kind with overexcitabilities. No one understands and ppl are mean to me for no reason!!! Only one special 160IQ and 140IQ could understand me to some point, that 160IQ came close. But we are trapped inside our own minds: you cannot share qualia using metaphorical language. I Am so existentially isolated it has been tremendous suffering my whole life. It is like i cannot even share 0.0001%+ with anyone and even if i did they would call me crazy/delusional... No one would ever believe me! What is the point gifted fail in unprecedented rates and never to get to power! Free will is also illusion. I don't believe this and new age spirituality is just cope, even spirituality itself is fine: it just doesn't add up!!!
