- We were asked by Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort and Caesars Entertainment to review the NEW rooms that just opened in the Cherokee Tower. We stayed in the king room which had a gorgeous view of the blue ridge mountains! We were also invited to try the new Guy Fieri Kitchen and Bar and there is big news for Gordan Ramsay in North Carolina!!

Harrahs made a major mistake by removing one of the casual chairs from all their rooms. Insane. Minimum of 2 people can’t sit and talk or eat etc. why the table if there’s only one chair. I see the new towers the same way.
I agree! The older rooms still have multiple chairs or even a sofa. Plus the stand-up-only shower is a big downgrade from the jetted tub combo in all of the other towers. So when booking, how do I know if I'm getting the a room in the new tower? If I select cherokee rooms, it says they're newly renovated?
It would say during booking. The Cherokee tower are the newest rooms. You can also request the Cherokee tower or select the tower during the booking process. They are very nice but a little bit further of a walk to the casino.

I live here in Cherokee and I want to reach out to the people who may be wanting to visit here or stay.
PLEASE do not stay at a Airbnb. There has been cases of cameras that have been spying on people in the last couple of years. It's not out to the public because they don't want to scare their tourist friends away. By all means please stay at a motel or hotel IF you can. I highly recommend it. I want you to enjoy the place I live but please think about it. Stay safe.

I won and the state of nc took it back come tax time. Weird looking men watched us leaving. I didn't like it. Something was off there. Safety was a nagging thought with me. Will not go again

Casino was absolutely packed in October, had to wait to get a seat at bj tables.

I loved going to Cherokee but now you are charged for a lounge chair in the pool area. I can see charging for the cabana but chairs? Not cool. And the pools are way to small…. One star.
Of all the many trips we’ve been on over the years to Harrahs Cherokee Resort I have never went to the pools 😄 I’m always there for the casino and food lol Pigeon Forge may have more pool friendly hotels if you’re not a gambler. I definitely wouldn’t give a one star to a casino based on their pool size. Not quite the point of the casino lol 😂
