Happy to see that your awesome videos are back. I was back in the Philippines for the Christmas season. I must say, I have already seen improvements to NAIA. I flew in and out of Terminal 1 this time, I used to cringe when I had to go through 1, but it is already much nicer. Happy New Year to you and your family.

@levitate4636 No, you do not need an onward ticket. Since 2022 I have arrived here four times and presented our marriage license and we never had to show an onward ticket. In 2023 we came in on a one way ticket because we didn't know how long we would stay. We bought the return ticket several months later.

We are now in the Philippines again on our fourth trip since we first came back in 2022. For the last three trips we have taken advantage of the balikbayan visa, we have stayed 6 months each time. It is good to see your videos to insure we have everything in order before we get on the plane. This last trip I somehow got my wife's eTravel barcode but missed mine. But we got it done on arrival in Manilla with no problem, just a 15-minute delay. All in all you have helped me make sure we are all set at travel time. Thank you!!

My wife, mother in law and I arrived in the Philippines on December 24th at 11pm. We were never asked or checked for our eTravel and all we did was go through customs. After we got our luggage, we were just waived through and we exited NAIA. No worries we used the correct website for eTravel. Also there was no line when we went through customs. It was one of the quickest times that I have gone through customs. We arrived in Terminal one so I don't know how the other terminals were. We flew from LAX to TPE and then to NAIA on EVA Airlines.

Thanks for the recap and updates. I am aware that dual citizens must present both passports upon entry and exit. Do dual citizens have to have both passports stamped as "Balikbayan" upon arrival anyway in order to get Balikbayan priviligies (duty-free shop, etc.)?

No its other way around airport before getting your bording pass they require etravel done but never on arrival.

Hi Miss Jennifer! Happy New Year!Thank you for coming back to give us important informations regarding traveling to the Philippines. I’m going back to the Philippines from Canada on Jan. 30, 2025 and I am a dual citizen. Please kindly discuss on your next video what a dual citizen needs to do. Please also discuss the changes at NAIA airport as I’ve heard that there are some changes like where should I go to be picked up by my brother. Thank you so much. God bless you.
As a dual, u just need etravel & present both passports upon arrival. Do not go through e-gates as both passports need will need to be stamped. I learned this lesson last time when I almost got held by immigration for not having a stamp on any of my pssports. Hehe.
Leaving the Ph, just show your foreign passport upon check in so check in agents dont bother u with travel tax. Unless you’ve stayed for 1 yr straight only then u will pay travel tax.
I only have Canadian passport. I do not have Philippine passport. Will that be ok?

That will really suck when CebuPacific moves to Terminal 2. I soecify use CebuPacific so I can fly from Davao to Manila, and then onto an international flight, all without leaving Terminal 3. Jennifer, do they have any plans to somehow connect the Terminals?
