Did you do the immigration check at bangkok airport or at phuket airport? I have the same connecting flight as yours and am a little confused about the immigration check in Thailand. Please share your experience.

I have one doubt. If our flight is not direct and when we have to change our flight then do we need to collect our baggage at the second airport and do we have to do the check in again?? Or we have to collect our baggage directly at our final location??????
Ours was also an indirect flight and our PNR was same so we didn’t have to check-in twice (except the security check). Also, our luggage was transferred directly to the next flight and we had collected it at the last airport. So it depends on the PNR if your PNR is different then you have to check-in again and collect your luggage at the first airport and repeat the process. No info about immigration , and you told to book MakeMyTrip, the website is selling at such a high price , the agent gave at lower price+ esim activated.. Information was not good as it's your first trip...so well not experienced
1st, there is nothing to share anything special on immigration since they had neither asked us anything apart from our purpose of visit nor they had asked for any particular document to share apart from checking the boarding pass. 2nd, I guess you have not followed our words properly. We said we had booked our tickets via MMT and you all can check out the skyscanner app for price comparison between the websites and then book accordingly. Therefore we had not recommended any particular site to the viewers as because prices vary at different season and also depends on the variation from the time of booking to the time of travel. 3rd, we do not prefer planning our tours through agents or booking any tickets via them. This is our personal choice. It might be different to what you think. Hope I could answer your questions.

Our immigration check was done at the Bangkok airport. It’s a smooth process since visa is free now.

Immigration was done at DMK and we had same PNR for the connecting flight so the luggage was transferred automatically by the airlines
