Tripreport - Virgin Atlantic 787-9 Upper Class, London to Bengaluru

I hope you all enjoyed this trip report on one of the first services with Virgin Atlantic to Bengaluru, India. I believe virgin’s 787 to have the superior upper class seat, despite the lack of the door and enclosed suite that can be found on the A339 and A351. Thank you all for watching, I do urge you to fly with Virgin Atlantic as they are the best way to cross the Atlantic based on the seat and service. Yes, I’m trying to do each class across the fleet, just need to see when I next fly in economy. It does differ based on your aircraft, if you can A339 and A351 are the best aircraft for flying economy, hope this helps!

I like the 787 but it’s getting tired now don’t you agree? What’s the state of affairs with new security at UC check in ? Mid may flight.

I can see why some people don’t like the configuration, it is very different, but I think it offers the best flat bed product out of any seats across the fleet. As for the Security at the wing I believe it opens in a few weeks, but I may be wrong. As a replacement Upper Class passengers get fastrack security which is just as fast, and you can still arrive at the wing. Hope this helps!

tbh I quite like the herring bone and windows are overrated :) it’s just in need of a freshen up the seats are getting shoddy and a bit grimly. Doors to Auto had a broken seat on his last trip and wifey had a knackered table mechanism on ours.
