ahh thank you, you kind human. The original painting is available to buy along with prints ... but not tees lol .. Yeah I love Tom's music, its stunning
Hi Mr. Quick! Long time no talk, haha. Nice to come on and see another video of yours. This is still one of my favorite pieces in, like, the history of ever. So many of beautiful elements executed so well. Making all of those stencils must've been a pain in the butt, but I think it's worth it when the final piece looks like this, you know? I love the added texture of the background, I feel like the stark linework really makes her face stand out in a very striking way (those eyes are killers, haha). Another win for you as always, Mr. Quick! Hope you're having a great day and that the new studio is treating you super well! Can't wait to see what awesome new experiments you concoct in your new lab! Cheers :)
Another preat painting and demo.... you hav inspired me to get an olld canvas back out I had lying around... When using the paintbrushes... is there an advantage to making a stencil for you base lines .... or do you always just sketch them on...
Hi Martin. There is no advantage, just what you like doing, I do both (free hand and stencils).. depending on what kind of painting and mood I'm in ,.,. do what ever works for you
quick question.. do you use any mediums to thicken your paints... what a pain to do 2 or more coats on all colours...Thanks for the info. and cant wait for you next video...
Splintered Studios - The Art Of Stephen Quick I'm new at this so do u mean you used some type printer to make your stencils real big do you have any video on how to make your stencils
