I have the purple rectangular form 2020, the colour is actually a bit nicer, then the new one. But I never worn it since I purchased. ((((

I just love how supportive David is of your purchases. If I ever were to text a photo of a bag to my husband and as for his opinion, he’d text back “what the heck?? How would I know!?” Lol
He might surprise you. I am shocked at how much my husband and son knows about fashion and purses. Especially my son because he accompanies his gf to shop so he knows a lot about purses.🤣. My daughter on the other hand does not care and would just give a stern lecture on buying lux.

OMG Sophie- I have been praying you rediscover the Business Affinity! It is my FAV bag of all time. I have the largest size in black from the first collection. It’s the perfect every day bag- it’s versatile in how you can dress it, it is hardy thanks to the caviar leather (mine sparkles like yours!) and it holds everything thanks to the smart compartments and the beautiful back pocket. I love to carry it as a top handle and I’ll hold the leather shoulder strap with the top handle to let the chains drape over the front and back. So beautiful! Be careful about closing the bag with the zipper pulls- the newer versions have the metal unlike the older versions like mine with the leather tabs. so happy we are twins 💞 and I can’t wait to see how you get on with it! 🥰

Now this is the way to do a vlog/haul...everything in one video...Sophie, you're the best. I loved everything you showed and your choices are amazing...you look great in pink. I agree that Dior is a bit stale at the moment. And all of these designer price increases are ridiculous 🙄...I reserved a white mini 2.55 reissue from 22P because at $4400 it's still a bargain for what fits inside and for classic Chanel.😍
Also like the vlog/haul video instead of having to wait a week to see what someone bought

Sophie , I like the pink sweater you bought but I like the mint green and orange with the collars better.
Took the plunge and bought a Chanel Medium caviar black GW. It was now or never because of course the prices are increasing like crazy. I was in London over the break, Went to Luxury Promise but didn’t find anything I liked. Maybe it was a timing thing and people had bought for Christmas. I like the purple Bags, purple is one of my favourite colors. I am now going to look for a spring summer Chanel bag in an appropriate light colour for spring. Might go for the boy bag, there’s a beautiful iridescent plum that I fell in love with last summer. Lambskin is gorgeous but for durability I will likely stick with caviar.

I really love Dior over Chanel but like you said nothing new has caught my eye but this Chanel affinity bag is growing on me and prices is so reasonable
I really liked the business infinity, over the trendy, because the metal plate on top bothers me, and the delicate lambskin. And the material of the knit top is so nice!

Hi Sophie! That jumper looks fabulous on you. I agree with your assessment of Dior, the new collection is very sporty and not what I would expect from them. It's almost like they are trying too hard to cater to the younger crowd who are more into the casual/sporty trends.

Firstly... I love your sweater! And the one in the last video... Reminds me of funfetti birthday cake... so cheery and cozy! And yes, I'm tired of seeing luxury brands do such casual clothes, with no shape or inventive design. Fendi's RTW collection for Spring/Summer 2022 was fantastic... so luxe, such great lines and design.

Love your new Chanel purchases Sophie. Dior is know for being such a classic brand; it’s difficult to see how that new collection makes sense. “Odd” is the right word.

The Dior clothes look as if they are made of the pale beige material called stockinette which used to be for sale on market stalls to make up into dish cloths;

Love everything showed from Chanel. Daisy prints looked very cool and classic black and white at the same time. Candy bags beautiful. Shame so much price increase. Did not like Dior for years. I think it lost all the charm under Maria Gracia which is surprising as I liked a lot her designs when at Valentino.

Yeah, Dior's collection at the moment is very masculine for me. The price raises go along with the inflation, so no surprises there tbh. I wish our salaries would go up the same speed😂 Anyway, love what you bought. It suits you a lot. Also the daisy jumper and cardigan looked really nice. Anyways, always love to watch you. X

I agree with everything you say about dior. I went in to get a chain necklace a month ago and I didn’t see anything that really caught my eye except the Caro bag.

Regarding Dior - the sporty thing you’re seeing is apparently called “sporty lux” and I think we may start seeing more of it. I’m on the fence about it. I think a few pieces could be fun.

Forgot to mention that your pick sherbet Affinity is very cute! Excellent choice. I bought the 19 because it’s unique and I consider it an investment. I do agree that the exaggerated prices on these bags are driving me away from new bags, but I made this one exception as I don’t have this unique style and color in my collection. Also agree I’m not particularly jazzed about new Dior. Shame because Chanel is my favorite but Dior is lovely but too sporty. I’d rather buy Adidas that Dior if I’m getting a sport outfit. On the European website all the Lady Dior bags have gone up in price with €600. The medium size, my favourite one, costs now €4600. The bags are fabric lined.

Ohh that bag and top are so pretty!! I also LOVE that jumper you have on!! It reminds me of those candy bracelets kids wear/eat and i LOVE it!! I wish it was cold enough for jumpers here (its raining so its finally a cool 22 instead of 28+) in australia. I agree with you about Dior, like i like the bowling bags.... but aside from travel or gym (which i wouldnt be game to use it for gym haha) i cant really imagine it being worn often for my personal style.

Hi Sophie! I'm SO excited to see you got a business affinity. I'm a chanel lover and the BA in the small size is my favorite chanel bag of all time! It's not quite as popular as some of their other styles so I get so excited when I meet someone else with one. The pink from this season is so pretty and I'd love to see you do a video modeling it/pairing it with outfits or compare it with some of your other bags.
As far as the direction chanel has been going in, I've been disappointed. Ever since Karl's passing, I feel like the runway shows have been a bore to watch. The clothes and styles lack the personality and creativity that many of Karl's collections had. As far as the bags that have been released in stores, they've come out with some great colors, but with the huge increase in prices and the decrease of items that make it to the floor, it's not fun to go into chanel anymore. And with all of the seasons they have, and the fact that you need to reserve items far in advance if you really want something, keeping up with the collections has become a chore. I still love the brand, but it's really lost some of that sparkle for me.

I’m going to London (and after, Paris) for a mini break for my 30th birthday in April. I studied in the U.K. so I was constantly in London but I feel like I’m back when I watch your vlogs. I can’t wait to see Harrods again. Tbh before I started watching your vlogs, I always seen it as touristy. I was back in 2019, my perspective completely changed thanks to you as I felt I knew it inside out and more as a store
I have the exact sentiments as you about Dior! After I bought my medium lady dior 2 years ago.... their recent collections have never made me want to part my money. I have a small chanel business affinity too. In grey caviar. (pre-loved). Love the powder pink but the fear of colour transfer for me is too great.
Congrats on your beautiful bag! The business affinity is great, the only thing you should know, the BA falls forward when you stand the bag, it will tilt forward when it is full of your items, if you don’t mind that, the bag is great!

I agree with what you said about where the styles are headed since covid came around. My favorite brand used to be Burberry until Christopher Bailey left, and now that the new CD has made the brand more sporty and street wear, it has gotten even worse with the pandemic. Lots of the “pajamas” look and athleisure which I just cannot get into. I guess fashion brands don’t have a choice since people are staying at home more, but it’s a shame really.
