Frankly this is better and in all honesty the dlc should've come out 2 years ago.
They probably felt that MPS didn't sell well and held the "DLC" for this one.

Seems to be a mix of regular and joy con motion controls. You can probably toggle them on or off and only play the type you want, so you’re not locked into joy con only games like in Super Mario Party.
