    I actually got this invitation when I was looking for more sources to understand list comprehensions in Python. It just happened a few hours ago. I cleared the first level and I'm waiting until I feel prepared to tackle the second level. It's super nerve wracking but I'm excited to continue these games.

    First of all, Many Congratulation!!!! to you and thanks for this helpful video.
    A week ago, I also got this opportunity while I was searching on google some programming term and fortunately I was aware of it. When the thing appeared, My heart beat got raised up and in my head someone said "You have been chosen"...maybe god or something.
    BTW, this give me an hint that what I can expect in the telephonic interview. I liked that, the interviewer answered all your millions of questions ( No offence! :-) ) so calmly and in a friendly way.
    Also, I'm a bit like you when it come asking question, I have a few questions.
    1. Things that helped in solving those problems.
    2. Things you should be prepare for.
    3. Any due date to start the test.
    4. Could you please send me those prep material, if not a problem?
    P.s.: at 45:40 while, you were doing your hair. Well, you look beautiful.

      @@tejaswi4650 no, they gave me different amounts of time for each challenge within each of the 5 levels. The first level had 1 challenge and they only gave like an hour or so if I remember correctly. But once you're on level 3, challenge 2 (or something), they start giving you longer, like days to do it. I don't remember exactly how long the entire foobar challenge actually took me, but some of the challenges on some of the levels took like 2 days to finish.

      I honestly don't remember all of the challenges, but they all had to do with rescuing bunnies from an evil lady on a space shuttle. So did you finally got Position at Google after this interview or you had clear more interview from google ??

    • @Mollyloveblue
      @Mollyloveblue  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They told me about their job openings and the closest one to me was over a 2.5hr commute (this was pre-covid) and they didn't have any remote opportunities, so I told them I wasn't interested in any on-site positions. If I were to change my mind, however, then there would be a technical interview, followed by 2 or 3 more interviews to see how my personality meshed with other interviewees.

    I am developing apps for Android but I studied Physics, I feel a kind of impostor 😭 but I am trying really hard to improve my skills, I wake up early and work in my laptop and later go to Physics but I feel is not enough..

    • @Mollyloveblue
      @Mollyloveblue  5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Anyone who tries something new feels like an impostor at some point--if developing applications is your passion, just keep at it! Just because you studied Physics doesn't mean you're defined solely by your education. Put in the time and energy to become a developer, consume lots of content on the topics you're interested in, and before you know it, you'll be an expert in your field.
      ... You might still feel like an impostor, however, the feeling is normal :)

      2. I make a good app for my.. emm.. I don't know how to call it in English but in Spanish is "lugar de residencia" and in German is "Wohnort" , look it ;)
      play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sublunary.bonsai&hl=en
      3. Soon I'll work on the oficial app of my University Faculty with people of CS, so I hope be good enough.
