Also im banking on another year with taurean, cam reddish, max christie,healthy vando and cwood. Maybe draft a big center for rebounds and the defense is amazing on paper. After last season unfortunately a back court of DLO and AR will never win, something needs to be done about that.

The starting 5 are expected to be a lot better in the upcoming season, in my opinion. The real question will surround the other supporting cast . For me, the Lakers are at least 8-9 deep. This, however, does not necessarily translate them into a conference champion or league champion. For those lofty heights, they need to have at least a point of attack athletic guard and a very good center. It, therefore, means that, currently constructed, they don't have a championship team. Playoffs, yes, Championship, I'm afraid no.
