  • Welcome to the video where I'll be revealing a cost-effective yet highly profitable KDP auto ads strategy that's a game-changer for low and medium content book publishers on Amazon. In this tutorial, I'll walk you through the ins and outs of running auto ads on Amazon KDP. But first, if you're new here, don't forget to hit that subscribe button to stay updated on all the latest tips and tricks for thriving in the world of online entrepreneurship.
    Auto ads, or automatic targeting, leverage Amazon's powerful algorithms to target potential customers based on relevant keywords found in your book's title, subtitle, and backend. This hands-off approach is perfect for beginners, requiring minimal ad spend and offering excellent returns when coupled with solid keyword research and niche validation. While manual ads offer more control, they often demand extensive research, experimentation, and higher ad spend to yield results.
    Remember, ads won't salvage a poorly designed book. Quality matters! Ensure your book is top-notch before considering ad campaigns to avoid negative reviews. Proper keyword research is crucial for auto ads success, ensuring sufficient demand and low competition for your selected keywords.
    Running auto ads increases your book's visibility, leading to improved organic rankings and increased sales over time. It's a proven strategy I implement for all my books, and today, I'll guide you through the entire process step by step.

    unfortunately I cannot do ads in New Zealand because it only allows to run ads if you live in the amazon selected countries. The closest to me is Australia but I don't live there. I would love to be able to run ads however I still find it interesting to watch other peoples success stories doing it. Thanks for your videos, keep up with the great work :)

      Don’t worry if you can’t run ads. As long as the title/subtitle and 7 keyword boxes are optimized, you will still have a great chance at getting your book to rank for different keywords. Ads just allow the process to be a little faster but doesn’t necessarily mean long term success.

      @@JeffSetLife I am still learning how to optimize tile/subtitle and the 7 keyword boxes. I am just doing a lot of trial and error. I have watched videos on niche research and how important it is for keywords, but again, I am still learning how to do this. if a book sells, great, if not then try again :)

    Thanks Jeff, I have been using lottery auto ads with lots of books into keep costs down in 2/3 markets places. I keep costs down by only spending a dollar or so per day. My books are aren't priced high enough to make a profit with the ACOS around 50-60%. I regular add negative keywords and products to not spend unnecessarily. I use different targeting groups, but only really leave Close match and Substitutes on as there are only just a few impressions with the others. I'd rather be shown for Close matching keywords, I know I probably need to increase my daily spend to see more sales so will do this and monitor it. I have tried manual ads but went back to auto lottery ones.

      I usually try to kept my acos below 40% and ideally under 30%. I end up turning off a lot of ads and tweak bids constantly to try and drive acos down. If you can get your title and subtitle optimized with high demand/low competition keywords, it can help in getting your acos to a level you’re comfortable with.

      Got it! Will do! As for KDP Select, I personally haven’t seen any effect on sales for me, but then again I haven’t really focused on ebooks as of yet.

    we have to run ads for years .... i thought we run ads for just a week !!!!

    • @JeffSetLife
      @JeffSetLife  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There’s a number of different ways to run ads. I personally like to keep mine on but I’ve also experimented with running ads for a few weeks at higher bids and then eventually turning them off when my book establishes a consistent BSR.
